Hi guys ,back with a update. Hope it lives up to your expectations.

Sanskar stood numb as he glanced at his wife who was mad at him  . He knew the way she looked at him right now would have hurt if not for the fact he knew her anger stemmed from concern .

Her questions still rang in his mind and he wanted to say No ,he will never be okay with her marrying laksh but he also knew he would want her happiness over anything else ,so he answered back.

" I want you to be happy Swara and if it lies with Lak.." he quite didn't finish his sentence as she shook her head at him .

" It doesn't Sanskar and it never will bade maa, I am sorry but laksh is my past and will remain so " Swara turned around to reply back .

A disappointed Annapurna Maheshwari left with Sanskar while swara paced in her room worried about him , she tried to call him when a knock interrupted her and she turned around to see her mother .

" Shona ,are you okay. ?" her mother concern made her realize she was also crying for him .

" How can bade maa ask him to do that ma , she knew everything and yet she asked him to help Laksh, and he agreed to it " Swara spoke up not trying to mask her frustration.

" Shona, We all want your happiness even Sanskar ,and it was because that he was willing to step aside the moment Ragini truth came out " her mother words did little to calm her down .

" What about him ,is it fair for him . I want him to be happy as well maa and I only end up hurting him " Swara answered back as she slumped into the bed and let the tears fall again .

" It isn't you fault Shona , and are you hiding something from me . Why would sanskar be hurt when your marriage happened to save me ." her mom words made her look up to see the confusion in her eyes .

" He loves me maa" she answered back and was surprised by the smile in her face .

" I knew it , or so I thought then he sent you the divorce papers and I believed I was mistaken . " her mother happiness made her confused .

" I know it isn't ideal for you to move back in the house when Laksh is still hurt but Shona I don't think it wise to stay apart either when you love each other " her mother continued speaking building castles out of what she heard and Swara couldn't get a word in till she finished speaking.

" I don't love him ma,he is my friend " her words brought the frown back into her mother face but she listened patiently till Swara finished speaking this time .

" I see" the two words summed up her mother entire response and swara waited for her to be berated about letting Sanskar walk away.

" You are not upset ?" Swara asked a little later when her mother remained silent .

" Shona , as I said earlier I want your happiness . Sometime love isn't enough to make a marriage last . Your father loved me but failed to trust me , my mind wanted to refuse to accept him back but I relented because my heart was willing to give him a chance .

Sanskar may love you but if you couldn't return back his feeling then you will not be able to be happy . And I know it was why he was willing to let you go as well . While I worry about both of you , I won't advise you on what to do , it your life and you get to make the decision

That what your fathers wants as well ,it was why we never asked you what have you decide about your marriage  and now we know " her mothers words reassured her that she was right to walk away but her heart still wondered why it hurt so bad to finally let her parents know her marriage was over.

The next day Swara entered the office an hour early as she wanted to get up to date with the accounts and was surprised to find it was filled with people already ,she wondered if she got the timing late when keerthi walked towards her .

" In our office ,we don't keep track of time as long as you get your tasks done that enough. Some choose to come early and leave early and some choose to do the opposite . It very unconventional but it works so far . " Keerthi voice greeted her and Swara mind only wanted to know if he arrived yet .

" Sanskar is yet to come . " Keerthi answered when she noticed swara eyes was fixated on his cabin .

" Oh ..I will get back to work then " Swara answered back and headed to her work space , an hour later she was immersed with number that she didn't hear the knock for a moment until the door opened and Sanskar stepped inside .

Sanskar saw the way her face lighted up after seeing him ,he wanted to see her first. He knew he was doing the opposite of what someone should do when they wanted to move on .

His mind told him that distance is the key ,but his heart refused to listen .So he knocked and went to her cabin first .

" Good Morning Sanskar " her voice greeted him as he took the chair opposite to her .

" Good Morning and it looks like you are getting the hang of it " Sanskar replied back as he saw the files clustered on her desk.

        " I don't want to disappoint you Sanskar " Swara answered back and Sanskar saw the fear in her face .

   He knew the work could get daunting but he also knew swara will be able to handle it ,If she sets her mind towards it . And yet even if he told her that she won't be able to believe him ,she needed time to get her coincidence .

                  " You will never disappoint me Swara , I do trust you and you need to believe it as well " Sanskar spoke up as his eyes drifted back to Swara lunch bag . He skipped breakfast today as well , the thought of sitting  beside laksh  who looked forlorn made him unhappy.

           " I am not going to share my food with you " Swara spoke up and Sanskar realized the statement said with a smile still managed to sting a little .

       Yesterday  he liked eating with her . And unknowingly he hoped for it today as well .Her rejection made him aware of his disappointment . But before he could try to reply back . She laughed as she opened up her bag .

            " I said ,I won't share with you because till I work here ,you are going to get your own lunch box from me " swara spoke up as she handed over a new lunch box.

           " Aren't you going to eat ?" She asked and when he took the box from her ,she went back to looking into the files as if it was quite normal for him to do so .

            At times like this ,the familiarity between them makes him aware of how lonely his life would be when he moved from here , but yet he knew if he stayed behind content with her friendship . His heart my end up wishing for more and that was something he didn't want to go through again . 

                  Swara saw the way his face creased with frown and wondered what was going through his mind .She was happy that he choose to come and see her first and she liked spending time with  him .

              " What up Sanskar ?" Swara asked him concerned about his change of mood . But he simply shook his head and went back to eat.

                    Sanskar left after few minutes and Swara occupied herself with work till the end of the day ,she know he was going out for lunch so didn't wait for him . 

                 Around 6  PM ,she decided to head back home. She didn't want to disturb him and yet didn't want to leave with out informing him . So she briefly sent a text message and headed back home .

              " Did you reach home safely ?" Swara received the message when she reached home. She typed her reply back and headed back inside with a smile only to come face to face with Ragini . 

          " Are you that happy after destroying my life ?" Ragini question made her smile fade away .

             " You made the wrong choices Ragini.  I did ask you to tell the truth on your own and instead you kept doing more mistakes " Swara tried reasoning with her but ragini already walked to her room and closed the door.

                  
                  The next two weeks swara found herself getting accustomed to the routine , she was happy and content . While swara always took bus to go to work ,Sanskar always dropped her off except few days when he had meetings

                  While some colleague ignored her ,she made some new friends as well once she stepped outside her cabin , she grew close to keerthi as well ,who had been very helpful as swara learned to ropes of her job.

        
              But her favourite time of her day was when Sanskar would step inside her room before heading to his cabin .The 30 minutes they spend together brighten up her entire day .

              She had begun to eat breakfast with him as well ,since she didn't want him to eat all alone ,cooking for him made her happy but sharing a meal together made her content .

             And since Sanskar schedules most of his lunch break with clients. Breakfast was the only time they could  share a meal together

             It was those little things she missed the most after she left the Maheshwari house . And sharing one meal together somehow made her content .

                   Everything felt like the same that day , as she laughed at something Sanskar said ,she knew she would miss it the most when he moves away.  He never told her about it and she didn't want to ask and confirm her fears .

               And she also was aware of the time left with him and she didn't want it to end ,even when she had 6 weeks left ,she felt unhappy about it . But she tried not to think about it .

                   Sanskar was still laughing at something she said and he briefly wondered if he should stay and be thankful for their friendship but it was at the moment the door to swara room was opened and his mom stepped inside along with few employees . 

              " Your mom came to see you Sir " Raj  the intern voice out the obvious truth as if he needed to explain . 

             If the furious glare her mom sent towards Swara were any hint ,he got his answer . His first thought was to protect Swara from office gossip .So he was relived when his mom didn't speak a word till   the three of them were the only ones left.

              " It was why you have been not eating at home " his mom words reached his ears but his eyes were fixed on swara who was still in shock .

             " You got what you wanted , your parents are together and now why would you still hang around my son " Sujatha voice echoed in Swara mind as she turned to see the hatred in her face .

                " Mom ..Leave now. We can talk about it in our home ." Sanskar spoke up but she refused to even look at him ,as his mother eyes were trained on her

               " Look ,if you think you can weave your way back into our home .You are mistaken .My son will marry someone much better than you ,I will personally choose his wife " Sujatha kept speaking and her each sentence found its target .

              She always wanted him to move on but the thought of him marrying someone else made her very unhappy. Before she could analyze why she felt so there was knock to her door and keerthi stepped inside .

 
         And swara saw the moment his mother saw keerthi ,her face turned pale and she stumbled and would have fell if not for the fact her son  held her .

               Sanskar was thankful for Keerthi arrival since it stopped his mom from speaking further , he briefly wondered if  her paleness was because she met keerthi before but let it to go as Keerthi never mentioned seeing his mother as he walked her outside till the car . 

                Swara was thankful that keerthi arrival hastened his mother to leave soon ,yet her mind refused to move on from her words . The thought of Sanskar marrying someone made her sad .

                 It was at the moment Keerthi walked inside her room , and swara saw a brief flash of sympathy in her face .

             " Mom tends to speak up her mind but she is really a nice person " Swara felt the need to defend her .

               " I know ..But sometimes the words spoken can never be taken back " Keerthi answered back and then proceeded to ask for a file as a excuse for entering her cabin . 

                  Keerthi walked away from Swara room and only then felt she could finally breathe again , when she found out Sanskar mom was in Swara cabin.

              Her heart stopped for awhile , she contemplated if she should interfere for a longtime  before walking towards swara cabin . And as she expected Swara face was pale from whatever Sanskar mom said .

               So she was worried about Swara ,in the two weeks she liked her a lot than expected and knew why sanskar fell in love with her .

          But she also realized that even with time  Sujatha Maheshwari still hasn't changed a bit and the anger rushed back . And hoped Sanskar doesn't read much to his mother reactions towards her .

           " I am doing all this for you Kavi and I miss you " Keerthi spoke up as she starred towards the sky hoping her friend was happy .
