Hi guys back with a update ,hope it lives up to your expectations.

  One week later

                 Swara was bit nervous as she stepped into karma and co . In the last week she had talked with Sanskar twice, first time it was to ask again if he is okay with her working in karma .

          The second time he called her to let her know she can start work from Monday , she hoped she wasn't making a mistake .

               
         She told her parents only last night ,who thankfully didn't object to her working . Her maa even said a change of environment will help her than copped inside the house because of ragini .

               Her father was concerned at first but accepted it when he heard it was in Sanskar company. His exact words were " Sanskar will take care of you then " . Her father trust in Sanskar came as a surprise but after all he went through for her parents ,he deserve more than their trust .

                Swara had kept her divorce matter from her family ,her dadi often asked when she will go back to her home and her father will reply back that he will let her go only when she is ready .

              It seemed like her family had been hoping for them to work it out and Swara didn't want to get into confrontation with them ,so let it go for now . 

                  Swara stepped inside and was greeted by keerthi ,who then introduced her to all the employees . Few glances were hostile but other greeted her warmly that she felt content until keerthi voice spoke up .

        " It is a formality that the new employees visit Sanskar  first ,so why don't you visit his cabin .I will be there after I attend this call " with the parting words Keerthi headed back to her cabin and Swara stood rooted on her spot .

               When she could no longer remain frozen. She walked towards his cabin and knocked a little hesitantly and opened the door .

                  They had shared a room together ,they lived in a small tent and the sudden formality were bit awkward until he glanced at her and smiled .

                 " Keerthi told me I need to see you first " Swara spoke up as she walked  towards his desk .

                   " Oh .. I did ask her to show you around ,it must have slipped her mind . Have a seat ,how did maa took the news " Sanskar spoke up and froze at the familiarity with the way he addressed her family .

              Sanskar had a week to come in terms with seeing her often and when Keerthi told him ,she was gonna hire Swara, he was bit disappointed with her for not taking his feelings into consideration .

               " You will be leaving in two months Sanskar ,and without you no longer to be her knight , I think this will help her stand on her own .Make new friends and so on " Keerthi voice of reason won as Sanskar accepted her decision .

              He has decided  to endure the next two months hiding his heart and being her friend . He did it before and he hoped it won't be hard . And so with the new found resolution he greeted her ,only to be surprised with words he just uttered .

          " They are fine Sanskar , and dad was bit concerned at first but he was okay after hearing I was gonna work in your company " she spoke up and it didn't look like she found is  words awkward .

               It was at the moment his phone choose to ring saving him from small talk ,as he answered the phone in hopes to keep himself occupied till Keerthi arrives to show swara around.

        He didn't expect the call to be from  his mom , she was upset when he refused to eat breakfast today  as he was nervous it was swara first day at work and his mom was checking up to see if he had breakfast. 

               He tried to answer in single word but he was surprised to see swara glaring  at him when he ended the call after lying to him mom that he had eaten just now .

           " You shouldn't skip breakfast " she started then abruptly decided to venture into her lunch box and  opened the container and set it before him with one command " Eat " .

                   He knew she was riled up for him ,but he also hated the concern she was showing towards him ,just when he was trying to move on .

            " It fine Swara , I will eat later " he declined ignoring the way she was gearing up for a argument then she smiled confusing him as she opened up the container to reveal his favourite food Aloo Partha  .

             " Fine ,I specially made it by my hand ,If you are not interested then I can eat it " with that she took a piece of bite and Sanskar knew he was going to  lose the battle .

                 He not only missed her ,but missed her food as well . At the fourth bite his hand shot up and took the container from her .She tried to give him a chase around is cabin in an attempt to take it back and pouted when Sanskar refused to give it back .

        " We can share " he comprised as he held up a bite for her and was surprised when she opened her mouth instead .

         He laughed a little as fed her few bites then she demanded he eat the rest . Over few bites of food the awkwardness vanished and he was happy to be her  friend . 

           " There goes your lunch " he said as he handed the empty container back to her .

          " You can buy me something .or I can share your lunch " she answered back with a hint of a smile.

           " I will buy you anything you want to eat . "he answered back and listened as she made a list of food she wanted to eat but was confused when all of them were vegetation dishes .

           "You do realize ,you no longer have to confine your self from eating Non veg right " he asked and see the way her smile dimmed at his remainder .

                " I tend to forget Sanskar . I still remember mom lecture about it, also I thought you will accompany me  " Swara answered back and Sanskar realized he would like to take her out but he already has a meeting at Maheshwari Industries.

           " I am visiting uncle and dad to talk about the merger today over lunch " he answered back  .And he was thankful when keerthi stepped inside at the moment .

             " I am sorry for the delay ,come on Swara I will show you around " Keerthi voice greeted them but Sanskar found himself speaking up instead .

            " I will show swara around" Sanskar spoke up and realized he was crossing the boundaries he set for himself .

               He had often wished to show swara the company he built ,and often imagined introducing her as his wife and he wanted to at least show her around. .

        
             Swara walked beside him in silence , she liked listening to him speak about the company with pride and the reminder that he was leaving it because of her kept her from enjoying it to the fullest .

          At the last leg of the trip ,he took her to her cabin . And Swara felt like the room was built for her .  It was spacious enough but swara liked that it had a small balcony which would suit her splendidly .

         " Do you like it " he asked and she turned around to see him standing beside her .

       " I couldn't ask for more Sanskar . Thank you " she answered back

     
  " No sorry and No thank you" he replied back and swara smiled at him ,she expected awkwardness and even distance from him . 

           But she was surprised and happy that she decided to work with him ,two months was all she got with him . And it should be enough.

            She hoped by the end of the two months ,her heart won't hurt as much as it does now to know her time with him is limited.

                Sanskar momentarily stepped back when he got a call ,his face turned dark as he listened to the call and then he turned towards her with a tinge of worry .

             " Laksh is here. Keerthi called , you stay inside and don't let him see you " he spoke up and left her cabin .  She knew he was right as she wanted to avoid his cousin .

                  Ten minutes later keerthi rushed inside her cabin with a grim look that didn't bode well for swara .

           " What happened ?"Swara question was met with silence until she almost walked  to leave the confines of the cabin to see him .

           " Laksh was drunk and he kept accusing Sanskar for snatching you and all . He made quite a scene in the office ." Keerthi voice laced with fury spoke up .

               " Where is Sanskar ?" swara asked wondering how awful it must have been for him.

             " He drove Laksh  back home after he fainted. " Keerthi answered back and swara eyes remained glued to the door the rest of the day .

              Though keerthi told her. Sanskar would head back to the Maheshwari industries after dropping of laksh ,she still  wanted to see with her own eyes he was fine .

               Keerthi had showed her the basics and swara spent the day getting herself acquainted with the finances but still her eyes often wondered towards the door .

               She lost track of time and she realized she also forgotten to eat anything. She glance at the time and saw it was already 6 .

             She wanted to head back home ,with the intention to let Keerthi aware of the said fact ,she walked towards keerthi  cabin . When she stopped in her tracks as Sanskar stepped out of his cabin .

               She was worried about him and though he has came back sometime ago ,he choose not to visit her . Swara tried to hide the hurt inside as she walked towards him

            " You haven't left yet " Sanskar greeting made her bit upset .

           " I was just gonna leave .." She replied back as she turned towards the exit .

         "I will drop you home " he said and waited awhile swara bid goodbye to keerthi .

         " I am sorry Sanskar ,for laksh behavior " she spoke up as they got into the car .

        " Keerthi shouldn't have told you about it and you need not apologize for Laksh "he answered back and the rest of the journey he remained silent even her attempts to talk failed .

               When she got down the car , she came face to face with yet another Maheshwari who looked happy to see her . It was her presence that got Sanskar out of his car .

         " I am so happy Sanskar already talked  to you " his bade maa spoke up .

           Sanskar hoped he can at least have a night before asking his wife to give his cousin a chance .

         When he tool a drunken laksh home , it was to be greeted with his bade maa who in her worry for her son ,pleaded with him to convince swara .

                 He couldn't do it ,ask his wife to give his cousin a chance .So he avoided her even when he returned back to office few hours ago . He wanted to check up on her but his bade maa pleading stopped him from approaching her .

             When he left the office cabin  hoping she would have already left ,he came face to face with her and even during  the ride back ,his mind was occupied with his maa words .

           What he didn't expect was to see her car parked before swara house , nor face the questioning glance of swara .

               " Let to inside first " Sharmistha Gadodia called out to his bade maa who held swara hand as she dragged her into the house ,sanskar feet followed them inside .

               " Will you give my son a chance " bade maa spoke up and Swara realized she was also concerned about sanskar and hoped they can work it out like her parents .

            Her previous statement made sense as swara believed his bade maa wanted sanskar to talk with her about it ,she didn't know how to respond so looked towards him and the harshness in his face surprised her until she heard dadi speak up

           " That what I keep saying ,she better return back to her sasural " dadi voice rang in the house and Swara realized she no longer can hide the fact they were gonna get divorced.

           " Maa ,Sanskar and Swara needs time to sort it out " her father voice spoke up .

          " I already spoke to sanskar. He has no objection to Laksh marrying Swara " the words were said by Annapurna Maheshwari and Yet swara eyes were fixed on Sanskar .

             She ignored her parents surprised face and her dadi who looked up to her stricken laddoo  and walked towards him instead . 

          All this awhile she thought his bade maa was concerned about him and to realize she was only concerned about Laksh at the expense of him ,it made her furious on his behalf .

             " Are you really okay with me marrying laksh ?" she asked and waited for his answer .And she didn't know why she wanted his answer to be No .
