Hi guys back with an early  update then I anticipated. Hope it lives upto your expectations.  I promise to update whenever I can and I hope the wait doesn't last long .

   One Week Later

           Swara stood in the hall where all her family were gathered today, she saw all the familiar faces except him . It has been a week since he asked her to decide and it has been a week filled with uncertainty. 

                 She knew the moment she uttered those words without meaning it. She made a biggest mistake as she saw his stricken face , and she didn't except Laksh to laugh at her words either. 

             " You are lying Swara and this proves you still love me " Laksh spoke up  and left while Swara rushed after him .

            " Sanskar Wait Please " she called out to his retreating back  which thankfully halted his footsteps . But when he turned around the words failed her.  And the tears fell ,she missed him and all she wanted was to lean on to him for support not hurt him. 

          And yet she didn't have any right to do such thing not anymore ,so she was content when he pulled her into a hug instead . She felt safe after the long tiring day. 

          " I ..am..Sorry " she spoke  the words amidst her tears and his silence hurt and as she looked upto him.  He smiled a little at her as if trying to hide how much her words hurt him and it broke her heart all over again .

            She broke out of  the hug as she realized she had no right to be comforted by him when all she caused him was hurt by her actions .

          " Ragini almost died and yet Laksh was sprouting nonsense about me still loving him .I know what I said was wrong but .." She couldn't finish her sentence because she knew there was no excuse for her actions .

            " I understand Swara , I know Laksh he won't give up just yet , call me if he troubled you again " with that statement he left and she felt like he was walking away forever .

             It has been a week since that day and she missed him . Even in her house her family expected her stay away from Ragini and hence she spent most of her days confined in her room and if she so much as ventured out for a fresh air ,she had been plagued by laksh who has parked himself in her street and waited for her to emerge from her house. 

            She know he told her to call him if Laksh troubled her ,but after what transpired last time .She didn't want to hurt him by her actions hence allowed herself to be confined to her room till today .

         When the Maheshwari  family visited her house ,it was to get Ragini signature on her divorce papers . After some crying and apologizing Ragini signed the papers and Swara was forced to witness Laksh happiness as his gaze was solely directed at her .

             She didn't know why the entire family had to visit for the signature ,then his bade papa voice rang out making her aware that her life was decided without her consent .

          " I know this is highly unfair to Ragini ,but swara and Laksh had suffered a lot and I would like to set a date for the marriage as soon as both the divorce were finalized " bade papa voice rang out making Ragini faint but Swara stood numb for a long time still she felt her sister in law hands on her .

             " Are you really going to marry laksh Bhai " Uttara voice conveyed how disappointed she was with the news but it didn't convey just how much furious she was about the same .

          " No Uttara . It will not happen " she spoke quietly then turned around to the rest of them . Who were busy tending to ragini and her hysterics that she barely was able to speak up until her mother in law walked upto her

         " Tell me bhaissa is wrong and you were really not planning to marry Laksh , do you really want to destroy my son " Sujatha raised voice brought in the attention of everyone else from ragini .

            " Sujatha stop , Sanskar will have to accept it after all it was his fault their marriage got halted in the first place " her father in law voice reasoned with his wife that Swara was angry on behalf of Sanskar .

         " No you were wrong papa.  My marriage with laksh got halted because he didn't trust me enough and Sanskar may have intended to stop the wedding but in the end he did everything in his power to help me .So I won't have him blamed for something that wasn't his fault " Swara spoke up .

         " Again with that Swara, Fine I agree I made a mistake and I am so so sorry , but will you still hold on it and forgo a future with me . " Laksh spoke up making her aware he was still holding on to his assumptions

             " There is no future for me with you , how many times should I tell you everything between us is over " Swara lashed back only then her words registered amongst her family .

            " Swara beta , I know you are hesitating because of ragini but you can't sacrifice your happiness for her , you already sacrificed so much to get us together , we want you to be happy   " her father spoke up next making her confused on why no one was actually listening to her

           " No Papa , My happiness doesn't lie with Laksh . Please believe me and cease this talks " she spoke up  and for once everyone seem to accept her word and no one voiced any arguments . Except Laksh who insisted that he will win her back . 

                 When the Maheshwari family members took their leave ,Swara was relived and was about to head back to her room .When her mother voice halted her in tracks .

            " Shona ek minute " her mom spoke up and walked upto her .  When she gently placed a bundle of papers in her hand ,Swara was bewildered and was disappointed to find her divorce papers starring back at her .

            " We want you to be happy Shona , we accept your decision if you don't want to get back with Laksh but we had to ask and Annapurnaji told me ,Sanskar asked her to give this to you . He must have wanted no hurdle in your path if you choose to get together with laksh.  " her mom was still speaking but Swara was walking away in an rush as she got into the taxi  and headed straight to karma and co .

       
               She never set sights on his company before and the infrastructure was enough to make her pause a moment.  She felt proud of him then realized she was still angry with him . She reached the reception hall and was faced with one of the meanest person she ever known .

      From the single look she gave her , Swara knew she judged and found her wanting,  ofcourse she was still dressed in her comfortable Salwar and in her rush she didn't think of changing into more appropriate clothes .

       " If you are here for the interview ,sorry to say you will not be selected .Also you are 15 minutes late and so won't even be allowed inside " the sarcasm in the receptionist voice hit a nerve .

                  She got bit hesitant at the thought Sanskar might not want her to visit . Then the papers still clutched in her hand made her find the courage to speak up. 

               " I am not here for the interview , I am here to see Sanskar " she spoke calmly and saw the receptionist face masked with horror at the familiarity with the way she addressed her boss .

                " Who should I say came to meet him " the receptionist voice asked politely this time .

             " Tell him Swara is here " she answered back .

             
               She waited while the receptionist called him and she saw the moment her name was uttered and she held her breath in anticipation as she was clueless how he would take her visit . 

             " What did he say ?" She asked when the call ended only for the receptionist to glare right back at her ,and Swara heart fell at her reaction, he must have not acknowledged her , the fact her Sanskar  would do that to her brought a fresh wave of tears that threatened to spill .

              " Now leave before he fires me for disturbing him , I barely got your name before he cut the call , I thought you knew him with the way you demanded he will see you just by your name and here I see you were over reaching your station by trying to capture his interest when he doesnt even recall your name " the receptionist was on her roll and Swara wanted to scream she already held his heart not just his interest but knew it would only garner more mocking when he refused to even acknowledge her .

          She almost turned around and walked away when she saw him racing down from the stairs . And running towards her . 

          " Swara , What happened ?" his voice was laced with concern even as his eyes locked in on her tears .

             " Nothing Sanskar , " she answered back ,while coming here she was angry ,upset and hurt but looking at him ,she realized he was more hurt than her .

    She didn't see her Sanskar ,she saw a man who had let go of his appearance ,his eyes filled with concern looked at her but all she saw was the dark circles behind them which indicated his sleepless nights . And she realized she had no right to be angry at him for wanting to be free of her .

          " It my fault Sir.  I was harsh on her,  not realizing you knew her " the receptionist voice broke through her turmoil and she saw  the girl was upset that Swara knew him .

          " What exactly did you say to her  that she is in tears " he lashed back and Swara had to step in the assure him it was not the receptionist fault .

              " Then tell me what is wrong ,Please Swara " his voice pleaded for her to speak up .

            " Let talk somewhere else. " she told him mindful of the audience around them .

          When he walked her towards the elevator ,her heart soared with joy to  see him again. And she realized she missed him so much .  For the first time she wondered if she could live her life without him being part of it .
