Hi guys back with an update, hope it lives up to your expectations

One Month Later .

                  Swara entered the Maheshwari house yet again ,this time not as Sanskar fake bride ,not as Sanskar wife but as someone who Sanskar needs right now  as his friend .

                  It has been weeks since Sanskar mom went missing , and it came as a huge blow to Sanskar when swara told him about that ,at times Swara got angry with his mom for leaving without staying and wait for Sanskar to come to terms with the truth.  

    
           Then she blamed herself for telling Sanskar the truth and not hiding it like keerthi ,keerthi came for a visit a week after Sanskar found out  and told Swara it was all the time she was prepared to give Sanskar to come to terms with her actions .

  
       Swara wanted to stay behind and offer support but she knew keerthi and Sanskar need to talk without her . So she left them alone all the awhile worried for him . When keerthi finally stepped outside her eyes filled with tears ,that swara worried about her until she walked up to her . 

        " It killed me to keep it from him and awhile I should be angry at you for breaking the news   ,I am relived that I don't have to hold on to the secret any longer . But please don't let him fall in despair ,you have brought him back to once and you can do it again ,call me if you needed anything" Keerthi words filled Swara with hope ,that the Sanskar she saw for the last week is temporary and he will get back to normal soon .

            Yet another week passed and Sanskar sunk into more despair and she realized he was becoming depressed ,Swara tried to be their for him , at times he would even talk normally with her that she believed he was fine and then he will go on for hours without saying a word .

           Yet she took her stand when it comes to his physical exercise ,it was the only routine she  forced him to do with the help of raj ,because she didn't like the idea of him cooped in the room neglecting his health . 

          When he took a first step on his own without raj help ,she promptly burst into tears relived that he was getting better at least physically. She had taken to sleeping in his room in the couch ,refusing to let him out of her sight for one moment. 

                It was during one such night, he asked her about his mom words to Kavita, she had told him about the call but he asked her that he didn't want to know so she dropped the subject until now .

            When Swara finished telling him ,she was worried about how he would react to it and so his silence worried her a lot until he spoke up .

         " At least she died in a moment without suffering ,marrying me and constantly facing mom and her words would have killed her slowly " Sanskar words made her pause ,she didn't want to defend his mom but she didn't want Sanskar to let his anger grew and fester till he hated his mother. 

        " Mom never anticipated such events to happen Sanskar ,you see she says something similar about how I am not right for you all the time.  yes it was wrong of her to say those harsh words but she just wanted your happiness " Swara realized she said something wrong from the way his face fell. 

         " What would you have done if you heard those words " Sanskar question took her by surprise but she knew he needed his answers .

           " I would have did the same as Kavita, walked away because i would never wanted you to lose your mother . " Swara answered back truthfully ,what she didn't tell him was she  would have tried her hardest to convince his mom after walking away till she relents and allows her to marry Sanskar .

             " I know and if it was you ,you would have never accepted to marry without my parents permission .  I  would have to blackmail you like ragini if I needed  to marry you " Sanskar voice held a hint of amusement but also it showed how much he knew her. 

          " So tell me ,if your friend  finds out the love of his love died because of his best friend mom and then he got himself drunk and drove the car and got himself into an accident and died . Who would you blame for it " Sanskar question out of the blue  confused her until it dawned on her when she saw him gazing at the wall where there was a picture of Ritvik.

          And her heart broke all over again for him , but she didn't have a answer to his question.  Because just as   Kavita death was an accident ,so was Rithvik and yet behind their distress remained sanskar mom words.  The words that she causally spoke not realizing the wreck it will bring into their life's . 

        For once she had nothing to say to him ,but he spoke to her about keerthi visit for the first time and told her how Keerthi brother confronted her and upon learning the truth went and got himself drunk and died.  

       " Rithvik never wanted me to know about it , he asked keerthi to promise not to tell me . Because he didn't want me to lose my family.  The guy was my best friend and yet I was unaware of his interest in kavita until keerthi told me .  If only kavita fell for him ,she would  have lived happily right ?" there was such vulnerability in his voice that she only held him in an embrace as he cried his heart out ,it was the first time he gave into tears and she hoped it was the first step towards his acceptance and happiness . 

           But two days later. She got a call from uttara  who  told Swara that Sanskar mom  left the house days ago after admitting to her mistakes . They have been searching her on their own ,and tried to keep it from Sanskar for his sake. 

        " Last night dad got himself drunk and blamed bade papa for everything . I don't what to do bhabhi , but everyone is insisting bhai should not be told . I know I am going against their word but I need bhai" Uttara broken words propelled swara to march into Sanskar room and tell him about his mother .

        
            They took the next flight back home , Sanskar didn't say much except agreeing to her when she told him ,they need to go home . And now she stood once again in the Maheshwari hall yet she has never felt so helpless as the moment uttara came barging into hug her brother and cried all over again .

             Sanskar Maheshwari looked around him ,the familiar face yet each face held a hint of worry and most importantly a depth of fear for his mother safety he surmised and only then he saw his father , a shell of man then he had been from the last time he saw him .

              " It was all m fault son , I always asked her to adjust ,always asked her to not hold on to resentment. I was content with my life ,I had a wife I loved and two kids I cherished ,what more could I possibly want ,I never once took her words seriously ,never took her disappointment seriously. 

            I didn't take her words seriously when she said you will lose your place in this house if you married kavita. Because to me losing your voice and gaining the love of your life was a fair exchange. 

              And I didn't take her words seriously when she said she will leave ,I thought she wanted me to say I have forgiven her when I was still unable to process what she told me ,it was what she used to say all the time when I am angry at her ,so I would relent and accept her apology.  I didn't know she meant this time . " Sanskar father kept talking awhile Sanskar stood still as he listened to the aspect of his parents life he never knew about until now .

             " I just wanted to apologize for making her suffer all alone " his father broken words made him approach his dad ,and Sanskar looked at the man who loved his wife and his mother words made him lose kavita , and yet from what he learned it was partly because of his father silence as well .

        " I will bring her back dad and you can tell her everything you told me just now " Sanskar spoke calmly not revealing the turmolt of emotions he felt at the thought of seeing his mother ,one month was hardly enough .

         As he stepped inside his room to get changed and leave ,she entered his room . He probably wouldn't have survived if it not for her ,she made him eat by sheer determined, made him start walking by going as far as to beg at times . And he still can never say no to her .

               For the last one month ,he never asked what was going on her mind ,he desperately needed her to be with him ,that he held on to her . 

       As he turned around to see her standing in their room with a look of something that he couldn't decipher ,he realized letting her walk away once again will destroy every piece of him that she painstakingly fixed .

         " I promised dad ,I will bring her back but I don't know where to start ,Uttara believes everything will work out because I am here ,but you know how I lived the past month .I can't even fix myself how will I find her " Sanskar let himself have this mine panic attack until she wrapped her arms around him and leaned on to his chest . She did it a lot this one month and a selfish part him always held her little closer because he liked holding on to her .

       " You are here because your family needs you Sanskar , they trust you to give your best and even if you couldn't find her today ,they will still need you to be their support for tomorrow. " Swara words lightened the pressure he felt at the realization, he wasn't alone in this and she was with him .

            " You will come with me right " Sanskar asked her hoping her presence will help him but she shook her head claiming everyone else in his family needed her at the moment .

                 And so he left alone ,in search of his mother . While he wanted to find her ,he knew he wasn't yet prepared to see her face to face . He quickly dialled keerthi who he had briefed about it last night and awhile it hurt to ask her help after what he learned about Nikhil death , he knew she was the backbone of his firm and she would knew more contacts than him .

           " I am sorry for making you do this " Sanskar spoke up the moment she answered .

            " I will do anything for you Sanskar , but there is no need for you to feel bad on my account as well .I had years to come to term with it and realize all that happened may have cost me my friend and brother but it was just a accident . " Keerthi words reassured him a little and then she listen off the few possible locations.  And promised to sent further on text .

           He checked the first four place and felt the despair kicking in ,he was recovered from his injuries. Still driving this long was taking a toll on him ,it was then Swara called and he answered to find her demanding he return home before he exhaust himself. 

                 Yet he found himself driving to check , the old age home that was on the way back. It was a very small one that they are hardly ten persons living in that place Keerthi told him .So that place won't work if his mother intention was to hide .

            Yet he got down from the car and entered the orphanage only to come face to face with his mother . He heard his family had been searching for her for days and so he never anticipated he will find her .

                Now that he did ,he was stuck with not knowing what to say , she was still looking at him in shock that he didn't know what to do , yet his father words gave him a new insight about his mother .

            
              He wanted to hold on to his anger ,he wanted to refuse to speak with her . His anger was justified ,his fury was relatable yet he refuse to let either his silence or words destroy someone life .

              " Let go home mom , we can talk everything later " Sanskar spoke up and saw the flicker of relief in his mother face . He knew he will forgive his mother in the near future but right now all he can offer his a truce of sorts .

                As they both stepped inside their house , his mother was quickly engulfed into hug by his family while Sanskar noticed his father remained standing in distance and Sanskar saw his wife making her way to his father and speaking to him .

         Which finally made him walk towards his mom , Sanskar knew his father had never been n of big words but yet that night when he apologized to his wife . His words echoed through the room and as he saw his mother and father embrace each other , his eyes searched and found her starring at him instead .

              With slow steps swara marched towards him ,she was worried about him ,he held out his hand to her ,she reached to hold his hand and stand beside him.

        He gently entwined his fingers with hers and smiled at her for the first time since he learnt about his mother that swara began to believe everything will work itself out .

          " I have something to say " Swara whispered on to him and say the way his entire body stiffen as if he feared the worst .

            " You want to go back home " Sanskar words crushed her heart , this was her home and yet he was asking her to leave but a resolute part of her knew it was because she never told him ,she loved him  .

                   " No ,I am staying with you but I was wondering if you would go out with me tomorrow ,there is a place I need to go and I want you to come with me " Swara spoke up and almost smiled at the flicker of relief in his face.

                  " I wanted to apologize for not trusting you swara , I blamed ragini and bhai but never accepted my mistake . I am sorry " Laksh words felt like someone threw cold water on her ,as she turned around to face him .

          "  It forgiven Laksh " Swara answered back because in truth she was glad laksh refused to trust her because she wouldn't have met Sanskar otherwise  and as she walked back to their room ,she  failed to notice the flicker of sadness in her husband face  

                 And when her husband didn't return to their room the whole night ,she began to worry until she found him sleeping on the guest room . She should have walked away  in anger but instead she let herself lie next to him and sleep dreaming of their future.  Because she knew confessing her heart will make it all right.
