Chapter 11 :" I Know "

Three months later

Sanskar Maheshwari was driving back home, To his wife, to his family. An week away from then when his wife is pregnant drove him crazy. But the trip can't be postponed. He can't wait to meet his wife. He reached to an empty house or so he thought until he searched the whole house and found his wife in the kitchen making him tea.

" Get out, Right now "Sanskar shouted at his wife

" Don't be dramatic Sanskaar. I am just making you tea " his wife replied back with a smile.

" Where is Maa, Where is everyone else. "he asked his wife

" Dont make it Mom fault, she has been taking care of me so well . She just went to see uttara. And after you messaged. I send off didi and her husband. Because they finished their work. "his wife calmly answered his questions.

" Doctor told you need to take rest. "Sanskar was adamant about her health

" I Am bored lying in bed all day. I don't want to take rest and I am fine. I am nine months pregnant but I can still make a cup of tea . How about you go and freshen up ""his wife gave him orders instead.

" Gosh I missed you and your stubbornness. "he spoke up affectionately

" I missed you too. Now go and freshen up Sanskaar. I bring tea to our room" his wife responded

" Okay, When have I ever not listened to you "he relented and let her have her way .

Swara smiled at her husband retreating back. Gosh she missed him so much in this one week. The due date was next week. But she didn't want to go through labor without him by her side. It was the unexplainable need to have him with her all the time.

Few months ago she thoughts she lost him forever. And now he was standing right beside her. It hasn't been an easy ride. Swara knew while most of the pain and hurt have vanished over time. They still lingered in the back of the mind sometimes.

Sometime such memories act as an way that protect your relationship. While walking on egg shells is definitely not an good relationship. That was how they acted when they first got back together. But Considering your partner before you make an decision is good for the relationship.

And Swara knew they have crossed the egg shells part to being considering towards each other. Both of them don't want to make the same mistakes.And while their relationship almost broke up last time.Swara believes it getting stronger every day. And that all one can hope for right.

She took the cup of tea and entered their room. Sanskar was speaking to his father. Swara played the tea in the coffee table and waited for him to finish the call. She knew Sanskaar is overworking this few months. It had been hard on him. But he was trying his best to support his father. Who is now the CEO of the company.

Sanskaar dad was never an man with high ambition. He lived under the shadow of his brother. But the company was incurring loss due to laksh mistake and he decided to step in because he considered the welfare of his employees. It was tough but they have managed to break even last month. And that itself was an victory. With Sanskaar landing the big contract this week. Things are surely looking up for the company. And that is an relief to Swara and sanskar.

In the family front things were turning bleaker every passing day. Laksh and ragini hatred grew everyday. It started affecting Swara mom in her family that Swara had send back dida to be with her. She had her family after all to look after her.

The week laksh got fired was the day ramprasad and his family left the house. The current house they reside in was the same house Sanskar had brought her last year , The house he brought for Kavita. Sanskaar dad knew about the hostile environment in the house due to laksh dismissal.

But he hoped it will mellow down soon but after an week of hostile environment. He decided moving out is best for them. A decision that was met with disapproval from his brother. But Sanskaar dad was firm enough that his brother accepted his decision.

Laksh started an new business. Investing all the life saving of his father. And according to Sanskar. He is not doing good. It wasn't until Sanskaar cancelled the call did Swara notice his grim expression.

" What going on sanskar. "Swara asked her husband

" Dad just found out how laksh got the bank loan for his company approved  He mortgaged the house Swara. Without bade papa knowledge I suppose. But he hasn't been paying the mortgage back either. And dad coincidentally met the bank manager who still believed we are living together and reminded dad about the due. "Sanskar spoke up explaining what he heard from his father .

" What are you going to do sanskar. "Swara asked him wondering what he was going to do

" Dad payed it off for now.The due atleast.  It his brother after all. I just know laksh was not doing good. But to the point of mortgaging the house. It beyond stupid actually. "Sanskar told her .

" Yeah I am not sure what was laksh thinking . I should reheat your tea. It has gotten cold.Don't stress about laksh. Things will work out.Or I hope they work out. "his wife answered back reassuring him .

Sanskar walked out to the kitchen behind Swara. And they both sat in the living hall sharing an cup of tea. Sanskaar knew Swara has been walking on egg shells around him for so long. It hurt him to be the cause of that. She would never argue with him even if he was wrong. She would never command him to do something . And she would never ask anything from him either.

But gradually she is beginning to be more relaxed around him and for Sanskar that everything. He wants his old Swara back the one who was confident about them. Because she has made him believe in them again. Her unwavering support this last three months meant the world to sanskar.

He thought he will never be able to trust them Or trust he can be happy. But he is starting to hope that both of them are possible and it only because of his wife unwavering support. When his dad decided to move out. Swara took it harder than us. Yet she stayed strong for him.

And he wouldn't have been able to stay strong without either. While the past hunted them both. He believes this time around their relationship is getting stronger than before.

" So how is my kid. "Sanskar asked his wife

" He wants to meet his papa soon. "his wife replied back. 

" Just one more week."Sanskar said with the anticipation of an expecting father .

"  I think you are going to meet our kid today. "his wife responded back leaving him stunned

" What "he asked shocked unable to say no more .

" My water broke five minutes ago. "swara replied back calmly .

" And you are telling me only now. Swara have you gone mad" Sanskar asked her

"  You were drinking you tea. I wanted you to drink first. Relax we still got time."Swara was still so calm

"  My stupid stupid wife ,Get up let go. Wait I help you. Don't walk on your own.Stop walking. I said I will help you. Let me get the keys. Gosh where did the keys go when there is an emergency. "he kept talking in worry .

"Keys is in the coffee table and sanskar if you didn't relax. I am not getting in your car. I don't want us to get into an accident.Didn't you say when you stop non stop. You should stop and breathe in and breathe out. Now you do that before you have a mini heart attack. "Swara was the only one being rational unlike him .

And it took few more minutes before Sanskaar fully calmed down. He knew his wife was trying to be brave around him. But the child was an week early. It should make him happy but he is an nervous wreck. He is not sure if he will be an good dad..And as if she read his mind. His wife spoke up yet again .

" You will be a great dad. Now stop freaking about it and start the car sanskar." She told him

And few hours later. Asha Sanskaar Maheshwari was born making her parents so happy. Sanskar held his daughter in his hand and his world felt so right. Swara smiled at him seeing him so happy. They both have decided to name their daughter Asha.

Because she was the person who brought back hope into their lives. Without Asha they wouldn't have find their way back to each other.

" Thank you Swara "Sanskar spole up With that he kissed her lightly in her forehead

" For what."she asked him

" For making it alive,  Do you know how worried I was. You know I would go crazy with out you right."he told her making her smile

" And you do know , You are stuck with me right. I am not leaving you sanskar. Not even by death. So relax. "his wife replied back. 

" I know,  And I love you my dear wife. For making me the happiest person"he spoke up

I know that one word kept ringing in her head.He finally believed in her. He finally started to believe she won't leave him. That all she ever wanted for him. To be able to trust in them. And she didn't know when he started to trust in her. But he trusts her now and that all that matters.

" I Love you too Sanskaar"she spoke up with a smile on her face
