Swara Bose " Confidant "

Swara woke up to familiar voice of Sanskaar arguing with someone. It took her bit of strain to awhile open her eyes to find a stranger in the hospital room with Sanskar.

The stranger was asking Sanskar to go and eat something while he waits in the room with her . But Sanskaar was being his adamant self and insisting that he will not leave her .

His care and concern always made her happy after her mother death ,their was no one to care for her. She didnt know why he cared about her, as she didn't know what she did to deserve this unconditional concern from his side .

The stranger eyes found her awake first. He smiled at her and something about the smile made her return it back . And before he could get a word in sanskar was by her side apologizing for everything.

It was not his fault yet he was apologizing and it took her awhile to finally speak up ,because her throat have been dried up . And it took her a lot longer than that to convince him that she was okay and he need not worry about her.

Still he didn't seem convinced as he kept on apologizing that in order to change the subject she had to enquiring about the stranger in the room .

Sanskar introduced him as his uncle , And she finally realized that it was the uncle house she was currently residing in . He seemed like a really nice person. He greeted her warmly introduced himself as Ramprasad and then apologized as well.

Apparently she crashed on to his car. But Swara had to shake her head in a voice of protest because the accident was entirely her fault. She told Sanskar uncle that it was not his fault and he gave a brief smile at her ,a smile that she grew to like as it was filled with some emotion that she was deprived of for long concern .

The hospital room door opened and Swara looked up to see who came and found out Sanskar mom walking to her with a bag full of fruits. One month ago she had no one to think about her . Suddenly ahet had three pair of eyes looking at her in concern and she felt content to know there are people who care for her now.

Sanskaar only left to eat an hour later because his mom literally pushed him out of the door. And he only left because she promised to stay by my side till he returns . He apparently had to drive his uncle back home. And even then he assured her that he will come right back after dropping his uncle.

Sometimes she thinks he takes the fake boyfriend role very seriously. Yet she can't help but feel so touched by his concern.

And as if that not enough. His mother was such an amazing person as well. She even cooked for her . And after she finished eating they drifted off to chat. She asked a lot of questions about her .

And Swara answered them as truthfully as she can. Until the one question that left her spiraling in shock. She gently mentioned the fact she overheard what laksh said in the party. She was on her way back to her to ask something. When she stumbled upon the conversation and she obviously witnessed her running out of the house.

" It did came as a shock to me at first beta ,but I want to hear it from you . Why did my son claim to be married to you " Annapurna Maheshwari words made Swara stumble in shock.

And yet she didn't pester, she didn't annoy Swara with more questions. She just waited for her to say something. And Swara know she can't lie anymore. And she also knew the truth could shatter her newly found happiness.

But she had no choice. And so she spoke up. Sanskar mom listened to her patiently not once did she see look of contempt in her face. But those suppressed memories had her crying for over an hour

At the first sign of tears Sanskar mom had asked her to stop more than once because of her emotional state . But shs had too tell her everything. Because she was the first one who was on her side and the irony of the situation wasn't lost to her ..

When she calmed down enough. Sanskar smiled gently at her and told her , she was not wrong. That word meant so much to her at that point. But she also asked her never to tell Sanskaar the truth. Swara was hesitant about it but she told her it for the best.

And Sanskar mom insisted she was not trying to protect laksh but she was trying to protect Sanskaar. She made her promise not to tell him until she says so, and swara wouldn't have given the promise if not for her words .

" As Sanskar mom, I know my son and he really likes you Swara . And he cares for you a lot. And if you told him the truth. He will distance himself from you.

Not because you are wrong but he will blame himself for his brother mistake. And he might lose you. I don't want that. Can you wait till he admits to liking you before telling him the entire truth. Obviously he knows about laksh. Just don't tell him everything especially the marriage part. Because Swara I really like you and I want you to be my daughter in law but as sanskar wife .

Before you insist this is all fake. I know it is not real. But I want it to be real. Give him a chance will you. I know that asking a lot but I can assure you sanskar is not like his brother." Sanskar mom words gave her hope and so she promised her .

She knew Sanskar is not laksh, But she never not even once imagined an future for them even in her dreams after she found out laksh was his brother.

Because as his mom said that truth about Laksh and her can break everything. His mom told her that sanskar won't blame her . Maybe not but he would never like her either.

She didn't know why his mom wants to match them up so much. Maybe she feels guilty about laksh and hopes to salvage it by marrying her to sanskar .

Sanskar mom made her promise because she knows once the truth is out. Sanskar can't get over it. Being his brother ex girlfriend and Marrying his brother are entirely two different thing. Sadly she committed the latter .

And she didn't think Sanskar could like her with the knowledge. But if he liked her without knowing everything. Won't that relationship break the moment he finds out she wondered yet again .

After a moment of contemplation she practically kicked herself for hoping for an relationship with Sanskar. But when he walked inside the hospital room, she can't help but wish for it the same. She knew it might lead to heartbreak later. But she would risk it all for him.. And even if it meant lying to him about laksh for now .
