Swara Bose :" He Kissed her "

Swara wanted to hate him for playing with her heart by being just him but she can't because he was born nice and his concern, care and genuine protectiveness over her was something no one can fake.

Maybe he was blessed with all good things that laksh got the worst deal after him , Throughout the whole lunch he was the nicest person you could ever meet. While he thought she was upset because of laksh. She really wasn't.

The only reason she was upset was because the guy she liked is already engaged and she had no idea how to cope up with the fact .

So on the ride back to work , She told him it okay to stop pretending. During lunch she already mapped out her plan for the immediate future .. Move out of his uncle house by the end of the week. Because her first job is to find an new place to live, she can't take Sanskaar help again.

Maybe she can ask his uncle, He could help her find an new place to stay. She hoped it was the logical choice after a official breakup.

Out of all the reactions she expected from sanskar after she asked to break up anger was definitely not one of them. He simply got down from his car and walked out , Leaving her with no answer.

She immediately regretted bringing it up this way , she thought he would be relieved. He would be glad that she was finally walking out and he doesn't have to pretend when he had a real girlfriend waiting around the corner.

Then she wondered why he got angry ,she remembered why his mother persuaded Swara to date him even as a pretense .Because of the rumours and she wondered why his engagement was kept hidden when it could have helped him with the rumours.

Then she thought about his ex boyfriend and his numerous lies. What if she played right into his hands she wondered . And that though was confirmed the moment she saw his smirk as she walked into her office.

Apparently he now loves to stalk as well. She can't let him win by breaking her heart yet again . She didnt know what she was thinking when she raced upto Sanskaar cabin.

Apparently being his fake girl friend comes with advantage. She was let inside without an question and her feet faltered when she saw his serious expression.

He was still not looking at her ,  His chair was turned back. She know he was angry. There is no right way to go about it, Without making herself  look like a fool, if she assumed it wrong .

      But she  had  to fix it,  So she  told him the truth. About her conversation with Laksh.  She   didn't realize she  was talking non stop till she felt his hands on her  shoulder.

      She hoped  he would be relieved when she  said the reason she wanted to stop pretending had been to make sure  his girlfriend  wont  feel bad . But instead he asked her  one question she never expected from .

      "  Why did it bother you . That I have a girlfriend. " his questions surprised her and yet she can't tell him about her conflict feelings either ,so she told him the partial truth. 

    "  It because I felt bad for your  girlfriend. She wouldn't like to be kept an secret." Swara answered back and  That somehow made him more angrier than before.

   " I am not my brother , I wouldn't do this around you if I had a fiancee waiting for me. " Sanskar answered back as he took few steps away from her  as if he was disappointed with her for believing him capable of hiding his fiancée .

    "  It was not real , what was between us " Swara answered back  as she didnt know what else to say,  Maybe she should have been silent because his next words made her heart flutter back with happiness. 

     " So maybe we should make it real "  Sanskar spoke up . Swara  starred at him in silence for so long. Because she  couldnt believe what he just said,  He wanted to make their relationship real.

    Could it really be happening.
, she wondered .  Could  he possibly like her too,  It seemed highly unlikely. Yet here he was saying it.  Before she could respond and ask him if he really meant it . He spoke up yet again .

    "  I would understand if you didn't want to make it real. I know you still love Laksh " Sanskar spoke up and it made her angry. She  loved him not his brother. How can he even think she  can like laksh after all that happened she wondered and the answer was  maybe because he didn't know about all of it.

   " I don't like Laksh ,I honestly hate your brother , But still we wont work " It broke her  to say the truth ,  But she had too. He wouldn't like her  after knowing everything.

   Yet  he was persistent, He wanted to know why she will doom them before giving him a chance. 

      " Because you don't know everything about me , there are reasons you may hate me if you found them " Swara lashed back at his persistence .

     "   I don't care about your  past " he told her abd she want to believe that but she didnt want to hope either. 

     " You wouldn't like me if you knew my past " She confided in him ,her fears that their past will come between them.

    She could have possibly imagined it up, But he got  closer to her  than before speaking up.

      " All i want to know is if you  like me , If i had a  chance with you  . I really don't care about your past , I just want to  know if you like me  , please swara tell me that I am not alone with how I feel about us " the sincerity in his voice made her trust him enough to confide the answers he wanted to know .

             She knew she  just don't like him but  love him ,  But how can she  say that out loud. So she   simply shook her  head in an nod and a smile to convey her heart .

    His face broke into an smile and It was an smile she  never seen before.

        " Will you be my girlfriend " his question made her heart flutter with joy and this time she gave him ,her answer with a single word  "Yes " .

         Back then they both know they had to address their  past. They just didn't care about the past at the moment. And She  wasn't clearly thinking either

           Because how can one think when the love of your life was  kissing you. Yep Sanskar kissed her after she  said yes and it was worth every heartbreak she might have down the line because the feeling of being liked by sanskar was the best she  ever had .
