Sanskaar Maheshwari:" Being  jealous "

One week later

             Sanskar entered his uncle house and found them both laughing with each other , it took just a week for swara to grew fond of Ram uncle .

  
                 Though the doctors said Swara was fine after her accident ,Sanskar insisted on a month of bed rest which confused her ,she even cried when he went a little commanding with his decision .

                Her tears bothered him ,until she confessed no one except her mother actually cared about her . That she felt overwhelmed by his concern . It pricked his conscience a lot as he only insisted on it because he knew that would give her sometime alone with her father. 

            It didnt take a month as he expected ,it only took two days for ram uncle to adore her and few more days for Swara who didn't trust easily. 

      Each passing day ,he knew he should tell them soon , But he was scared.  He does want them to find each other ,but he was worried about their reactions especially Swara  and because of that he delayed telling them each day with an promise to speak up the next day.

            He was  surprised to find his mom in the kitchen that day as she usually leaves before he arrives since that would be around the same time dad would have left the office as well ,  Ever since she met swara , his mother had  made it her habit to spend half of her time with Swara. And she doesn't hold back on her matchmaking hints either .

       She almost planned out their wedding to the point of how many kids they should have. That was bit  extreme indeed . But his mom loved Swara and she doesn't want him to let her go. A fact he can totally understand given his hesitance to tell her the truth for the same reason.

      At the sight of him ,his mother face lit with a mischievous smile which meant she had a plan to matchmake . He found out the plan was straight out dinner date in the form of business party .

      " After your accident ,people are wondering about you Swara ,since you are dating I mean fake dating my son . You should go out with him first before starting to work . There is a business party held at Mr Mehra house  tomorrow , Sanskar .You should go with Swara " his mother might be good with plan ,but no one was fooled that she was doing it for any reason except to matchmake .

       Swara protested a little , Sanskar remained silent at first  and when he looked at her in distress then he spoke up because awhile he want to go out with her ,forcing her to do so was not the way . 

               His mother dropped the subject till dinner and made few casual remarks about the rumours that already speculates about their break up , the papers have been speculating indeed due to Sanskar return to work the very next day after her accident .

         He did so because he wanted ram uncle and swara to get along but the rumours started spreading given the track record of Sanskar they already expected him to fail in yet another relationship .

        Only when his mom used his name and how the rumours portray him in bad light did swara  change her mind and he knew it was for him and yet again his conscience pricked him ,stating she will hate him soon enough .

         When Sanskar returned to his uncle home the next day ,he was nervous .It was a official business party and he wasn't dating swara yet it felt like one .He took extra care when he dressed up for the occasion but none matched with the transformation of Swara .

       His mother took his credit card last night ,insisting he should buy for his girlfriend and promised to pick Swara for shopping  in the morning but he wasn't prepared to see the vision of Swara in front of him .

      She was beautiful ,he had known it from the beginning ,yet  today she was wearing a dress that was looked like it was designed for her . And he noticed his mother pearl necklace adorning her neck .  He had  to admit his mom would make an cool mother in law.

         Swara looked breathtakingly beautiful as she walked beside him ,  He had to grudgingly admit he was bit jealous when all eyes were almost drawn to her at the party.
He liked spending time with her even when she had become silent due to nervousness during the car ride.

         And he  glad that laksh was away from town because he didnt want yet another meeting between them when the last one sent her running . He doesn't  want her to face his brother  when she is clearly uncomfortable.

       He wanted to know the reasons but sadly she refuse to confide in him .  And yet  she confided in his mother because his  mom who adores her youngest son refuses to speak to him for the past week .  She only speaks if he happened to be around with his  dad. She clearly didnt  want his  dad to find out there recent fall out. And that bothered him .

     He hated being left out from the truth . But he didnt  want to compel her to say anything either . If he  was part of her life after everything he did . She will tell him when the time was right. Atleast that what he hoped .

But fate was not kind enough   that day. Laksh was not present but one of swara friend was present.  And the level of familiarity between them made him  more jealous than he cared to admit.

        The stranger told him they dated for a while a fact he didn't want  to know. A fact which didn't make Sanskar  one bit happy. But Swara was clearly getting bit upset over the turn of events. When she was not seen after ten minutes he was beginning to get worried.

      He searched for awhile till he found her. And that when he  realized how much meeting with the stranger affected her as well..

Swara Bose  :" My Second date . "

         She was stupid to think that if  she forget the past will be forgotten as well. Sanskaar mom told her ,  Laksh won't be present in the party and she can relax. And so she  did , Until she saw him.

         She  didnt even remember his name till he mentioned it while introducing himself to Sanskaar. Well he was one of the guys she dated indeed  but never really meant anything more than an distraction. But when he went on and on about their  dates, she felt terrible.

          Because the person the stranger knew wasn't her but it was the person everyone met when it comes to her. And she  felt  she couldn't look into Sanskar  eyes without breaking down.  What would he think of her  was the question that bothered me the most.

    She didn't want him to see her  like that so she  walked away till she  could get some fresh air and let those tears that she held back fall freely

    But fate was not kind enough because  He found her  in her  most pathetic state. He didn't say a word yet she found his arms wrapping around her ,and she let him.

     She didnt  know how long they  stood there like that, she was  trying to control her sobs and he was holding her in an  embrace to make her  feel comforted.

         When she stopped crying, he spoke up. Slowly she felt his hands loosen up from her .Yet his right hand gently held her .  He decided that it was time to leave,  She spoke up  stating she was fine.

      But he clearly didn't believe her , He led her  to his car and drove them home . Swara felt terrible that yet another day out with him was cut short by her.

       It  was the worst date any one could ever have and the fact it was an date with the one guy she  truly care about made her feel  awful. So When they  reached she  locked herself  in her  room because she  felt was upset and broke once again in tears .

       His mom called later  that when she  felt truly awful. Remembering the extent his mother  went to make today happen,  Swara answered her  call in midst of tears , then end up speaking  with her for over an hour.

       Telling the tales of her  embarrassment to his mom  was comforting.  After his mom comforted her with words , she strongly advised that Swara better eat  the food she cooked  for her before sleeping and added a threat of  refusing to speak with her ,if she failed to do so .

      Only his mother  can use such serious threat to make her eat .  She walked out of the room to keep her promise only to  meet with the one person she was desperately trying to avoid. He was re heating the food and that's when it clicked. His mother played at matchmaking  again. She must have called him too.  It was too much of an coincidence otherwise..

He didn't say a word. But he didnt needed too. She took a seat next to him and they  both ate without an word.  It was hard but it was not that hard.  While she  was embarrassed still she found  his presence comforting. She  quickly finished eating. Took her   empty plate and started washing them, So she  can leave before he finishes up. But he was  right behind her  when she turned around. Yet she managed to walk away by going around him until his voice stopped  her from walking away .

   "  Don't avoid me."  He said , just three words but it made her want to go back to him because she didnt want to avoid him either .
