She just prayed desperately.

Tossing back and forth, Swara heard growling noises from her stomach
Rolling her eyes went out of the bedroom in frustration only to found nothing to eat.
"Wah now I need to go outside to eat some food. "
Her eyes fell on her mother who was sleeping on the floor.
She fisted her hands tightly in anger and frustration running back to her room bringing a pillow and blanket she helped her mother to sleep comfortably.
Pain was clearly visible in her eyes, but masking the emotions as she always does moved out of the apartment.

"It's bloody 2 am what is going to be open at this time... I hope I get something to eat... Woaaaah! Ice cream parlour open at this time soo glad!"

"I need this chocolate ice cream box" Two chirpy voices could be heard at the same time demanding the ice cream box..
Swara turned around to see a little figure who already had a butterscotch cone in her hand and narrowed her eyes.

"Ruhi, you are already eating one and looks like that's the last chocolate box let aunty take it" Sanskar commented.

Ruhi s face dropped a bit listening to that..
"It's fine you can take it I will have the vanilla one" Swara said with no expressions on face.

"Thankyouuuu! " Ruhi smiled and Swara just gave a small little smile back to her.

"Baba let's rush back home if dadi gets to know we are this late we gonna get scoldings" Ruhi said licking her icecream.
Both SwaSan chuckles

"I'm so. Sorry and thank you" Sanskar said politely and Swara just nodded..

Swara taking her vanilla box and some chips started going back..
"Papa, we are watching doraemon s movie today! "
"No ruhi I'm done let's. Watch tom and Jerry"
"But we watched it last week! "
"No we didn't it was last to last week"
"Noooo! "
"yesssss"!
Swara left out a small giggle listening the banter while sanskar ruhi looked back at her..
All the three of them were walking in same direction.

" Aunty tell. Me what do u prefer tom and Jerry or doraemon" Ruhi questioned.

"Doraemon! "

"Haina that is the better one! "
Both nodded together

Sanskar narrowed his eyes.
Just then they came towards the apartments seeing swara also entering the same one.
"Aunty? U live here"
"Yep! U do too? "
"Yes on 5th floor with dadi ragini chachi laksh chachu and baba" Ruhi replied.

Sanskar shaked his head while swara just listened.
They entered the lift and sanskar just looked at swara asking the floor.
"6th floor" Swara said.

"Byeeee aunty! " Ruhi said smiling as she. Made her way out of the lift with sanskar.

Swara smiled waving back at her...

"Aaagh finally! A good ice cream and a good show is what I wanna watch! " Swara thought moving inside the room..

And just like that the night passed....
