Chapter 8

"Hi, I am Inspector Ansh Singhaniya."
Said the man entering the room when he found Swara looking at him with confusion.

Sanskar(nodding his head): Hello Inspector..!! I was waiting for you only.

Ansh gave him a small smile and entered the room.

"I hope you are doing good, Mrs. Maheshwari." said Ansh.

"Yes. I am fine. Thank You Sir." she replied giving him a small smile, hiding the tears and pain that she felt from few moments before.

Sanskar just held her hand in his, giving his silent support knowing she is still vulnerable at this moment.

Ansh: I already talked with Mr.Maheshwari, I want to talk about Rajat, if you are fine so can we proceed.

He asked hesitantly, knowing and understanding her condition, not wanting to stress her any further, mainly because of the threats Sanskar gave him few hours, remembering which he gulped once again.

Ansh:(thinks): You are an inspector Ansh, dont let any normal person scare you. Normal person? Sanskar Maheshwari? No No. Just Focus. Haan Focus.

Swara: Sir. Sir.

Ansh came out of his thoughts when Swara called him, and shaking his head he looked at her.

Ansh:(clearing his throat): Hmm? You were saying something?

Sanskar: She was just saying you to proceed with your questions, but now I think you are more intersted in your stupid day dreaming.

Ansh: No No. Yesh.. My questions..?? Que..s..tion.s? What Question..s?

He asked to himself scratching his head.

Swara turned towards Sanskar with her mouth open and eyes widened.

Swara: Seriously? Inspector? Cheating krke bana hai. (she whispered in his ears).

Sanskar just shrugged his shoulders.

Sanskar: Now I think the same.

Swara bit her lower lip trying to hide the smile that threathened to form on her face, while Sanskar seeing her normal self smiled to himself.

He was much scared how will Swara react about Rajat news, thinking of all possible worst case scenarios but seems the inspector won't let anything happen of the sort.

In Maheshwari Mansion

In RagLak room,

Ragini was standing in front of the mirror applying makeup, while Laksh was finding something in the cupboard.

Laksh: Ragini, Have you seen my red file?

Asked Laksh, while Ragini was busy applying eye liner on her eyes.

Laksh: Raginiiiiiiii.. (he shouted out her name).

Ragini: Jii Jii Laksh ji say?

Laksh: What are you doing? In the middle of the day getting ready? Are you going to hospital?

Ragini made a confused face.

Ragini: Why will I go to hospital? I am fine Laksh ji, dont worry nothing happened to me.

She said passing him a smile, while he just shook his head in disbelief.

Laksh: Not for your health, I know you are fine. I was asking if you are going to meet Swara there, you have not gone there after the day of her accident, it's almost a week now.

He said and moved towards her and held her lightly from her upper arms.

Laksh: I know it must be tough for you to see Swara in this state, but you should atleast go and see her.

He said cupping her face.

Ragini: What are you saying Laksh ji? I know Swara is my half sister, but I cant go to see her, i have to... to. yes.. manage the house as you know na Swara is in hospital and Bhabhi is pregnant. Then it is me only who have to do all the work. So. I cant leave here.

Laksh: I know Ragini, i understand tour condition. But atleast for an hour you can take out time.

Ragini gulped.

" O No..!! How can I? What if I had to use a bedpan for her. No No.." she thought looking at her manicured hands and made a face.

"I cant. I am busy Laksh ji. I know I should, I also care for her but.." she said as a tear rolled down her eye.

Laksh sighed seeing her and pulled her into a hug.

"But if possible do call her and I understand you." he said.

"Yes. Yes. I will call only." she said immediately and a smile formed on her face.

Laksh departed himself from her and left the room kissing her forhead as someone called him from office.

While seeing him going Ragini sighed in relief and immediately sat on bed.

Ragini: Thank God..!!! Bach gyi.

Hospital.

Ansh:Oh yess..!! I remember. I was here to know about Rajat. How do you know about him being evil, as Mr. Maheshwari told me everything that happened, but only you can tell me in the detail.

Swara who was till now busy smiling at his antics, suddenly shivered hearing his name and then immediately her eyes went towards her feet which lay lifeless, without any sensations and any movements.
Sudden tears brimmed in her eyes.

Sanskar who was looking at her continously, read the change in her expressions.

Sanskar: Say only if you are confortable.

He said immediately, holding her hand into his and making her look in his eyes.

Swara gulped down the tears back looking at him.

"I cant always fall weak. Swara buckle up. Dont make your Sanskar so worried." she thought and blinked her eyes at him.

"Dont worry, I am fine. I will tell." she said while Sanskar was still looking at her worridely.

She just held his hand back and turned towards Ansh, who was also looking at them worridely hoping he had not anyhow made her upset otherwise Sanskar Maheshwari is not going to leave him.

Turning towards Ansh, she narrated all the incidents how she came to know about Rajat being fraud and only marrying Uttara for money as she heard him speaking. His plan to elope after taking all the money, him having some old criminal records which he was confessing very proudly to his fake parents.

Then how he came to know about Swara, and him kidnapping her on the day of engagement early morning, and how she somehow came back stopping the engagement.

Her voice chocked at end, as she remembered all the incidents that happened after that.

Sanskar pulled her in his embrace, caressing her back, himself shocked at all this revelation and also cursing himself for not checking the background of Rajat, because of whom all the problems started.

Ansh: I am so sorry you have to go through all this. Now as we know everything about him, it will make the investigation easy.

He stopped as he felt his phone ringing, he picked it up and listened to the one from the other side.

Every passing second, the expressions on his face changing.

"Whatt..??" he shouted at last, making both SwaSan to look at him worried.
