Chapter 10

"I didn't understand, what do you mean by this?" questioned Sanskar, not able to decipher the meaning behind Ansh's word.

"I mean.. Mr. Maheshwari, we got a lead in the area where Rajat could be, but.." he stopped in a middle, watching the couple before him, he took in a deep breathe before cracking the news to them.

"but the lead was a death threat, as in we found Mrs. Maheshwari's name written with blood and then crossed near the Ganesh Nagar, and we checked and that was Rajat's blood. So this means..."

"he is alive and wants to kill me..." completed Swara with a blank look on her face.

Processing their words for a minute, Sanskar stepped back in shock, he unintentionally tightened the grip on Swara's hand, all the memories of her falling down the cliff, laying on that big rock, her being in the hospital, and crying out for help.. everything started to play in front of his eyes like a movie.

It felt as if air had been pumped out of his lungs, he found it hard to breathe.

He somewhere have believed that Rajat was dead, and will never come back, but him being back and not only back but giving threats to his Swara was the possiblity which he never wanted to imagine in the past few days, but now this was being true.

Ansh moved forward and showed him the pictures of the same.

He find it difficult to stand straight on his legs, his legs wobbled a little.

"Sanskarrr.." Swara called out of him, sensing his state, she know more than her, it is him who is affected by this. Not that she is not scared, but she have a belief this time somewhere that everything will go well, as this time she is not fighting alone, she has her whole family with her and specially her Sanskar. Her spine.

Listening her voice, he came back to present, shaking his head to push out all the thoughts that entrapped his mind few minutes back.

"Mr. Mahehwari, I know this is hard, but trust me we will not let anything happen to Mrs. Maheshwari this time." said Ansh, while Sanskar nodded his head.

"I just hope you will keep up with your words, otherwise I wont mind to dig your graves with my bare hands, Inspector or not?" Sanskar warned, his eyes going red.

"Sanskar.." chided Swara, glaring at him for talking in such a way, specially to one who was helping them.

"What? I am saying truth."

"Shut upp..!!!" she replied pinching his arm.

"You.. Jungli Billi..." he said rubbing the area she pinched him wincing.

"You...." Before Swara could complete her sentence, Ansh interupped them.

"Guys, fight later." he said making both embarassed, "and Mr. Maheshwari dont worry, I myself will take care of her security." Ansh said with a smile.

"Isse bda dar aur kya hoga mere liye.." Sanskar murmured under his breathe.

"You said something?" Asked Ansh confused, while Sanskar just shook his head in negative.

"When you will be discharged?" he questioned turning towards Swara.

"2 days." she replied with a small smile thinking something.

"That's better as you will be safe home." he said and nodded his head.

"Then I will take your leave." he continued and started to move back.

"Inspector, wait. I have to tell you something." Said Sanskar which stopped Ansh in his tracks, he turned and Swara nodded her head at him asking him to continue when he looked hesistant.

Soon enough, he told him about what all Swara heard, and what they think of the situation.

After hearing the whole story,

"Are you sure, as in they are your family? How could they?" Ansh questioned.

"That is what I am saying, they are our family, we know them better, they are capable of it." Said Sanskar angrily, thinking that once again someone from that damned family betrayed them, even after so much struggle they did to get together, even after crossing all the hurdles.

Not wanting to say much, Ansh nodded and replied," Dont worry I will look into the matter, and we will do something to find the culprits and keep you all safe." he said and finally left the couple alone.

As soon as he left, Sanskar turned and gathered Swara in his arms, still thinking of the threat which they received just now, wanting to protect her and keep with himself for eternity.

"I am fine Sanskar, I am with you, here now and forever. Dont worry." she said understanding his inner turmoil, rubbing his back and placing a kiss over his heart calming him down.

"Now and forever." he repeated tightening his hold on her and placing a kiss on her crown, making her smile.

The door opened, and the nurse walked in, making them to part apart.

'Damnnn..!!! I cant even hold my wife, someone or the other keeps popping in.' he thought and growled on sudden disturbance.

"Sir, I have to do her dressing." Nurse said fumbling with those hearts in her eyes looking at him 😍, looking ever handsome.

She instead of Swara moved towards Sanskar with the tray in her hand, and stopped just a inch away, being lost in his charm, her eyes open and a blush on her face as she neared him more.

Both Swara and Sanskar looked at ger shocked, while Sanskar looked confused and uncomfortable and was giving a small nervous smile, and on the other hand Swara looked angry and jealous seeing the so called "Sisterrr" openly checking out and drooling her ever hot husband, oh how she knows that her husband is definitely drool-worthy, and a sight for the eyes, but that is it he is HER husband. Capital H-E-R. That is Swara's Sanskar. The green eyed jealous monster inside her bubbled more seeing Sanskar not saying anything and instead looking at her with a smile, this time she skipped to look that it was not a normal but a nervous smile, but the thing that matters  to her now was that he was smiling, he was fucking smiling, when someone else was checking him out.

Limits of her anger crossed when nurse touched his hand and was about to pull it up when she was interupted by another hand pulling her.

"Meri dressing karni hai, uski nahi." Said Swara gritting his teeth at that young nurse, which seem to come out of her trance and looked embarassed suddenly, and a little scared recieving all the death glares from her.

Sanskar visibly relaxed seeing her getting away from him and he shifts away mainting more space, thanking his Swara in mind and turned to smile at her, only to recieve a glare of her himself, making him more confused.

"Get Out." Swara growled at him, wanting him to leave the room immediately where the 'her husband checking sister' was standing, if that is even something.

"Swaaa..." before he could complete calling her, he was pulled out by someone who have seen all the drama and was herself angry at Sanskar for being so dumb.

"Tu chal mahre saath. (You come with me)." Said Sujata pulling him and then pushed him out of the room and came inside herself locking the door.

"Bawra chora." she murmered under her breathe.

"Attention seeker." said Swara angrily to Sanskar and then again glared at the Nurse who was now dressing her broken arm.

"What is even my mistake?" thought Sanskar, not understanding why suddenly in a minute he had to face the wrath of both his wife and his mother.
