                And I never initially planned about Epilogue , I always assumed I will write a brief glimpse of Swasan and their kids in the epilogue , But I realized I still have some story left to tell. So bear with me while I use these six epilogues to find closure to all the characters .And you will get lot of Swasan as well . Hope it lives up to your expectations.

Part 1: " Her Brother "

Two Weeks Later

Swara woke and smiled at her husband who was still starring at her with concern . Ever since he realized she was pregnant and was prone to morning sickness , He was worried about her .

Swara tried to reassure him , it will soon pass away but he fails to accept and will always hover around her much  in the morning much to Swara delight , she liked  having her husband pay attention .

But today there was an extra hint of concern in his face as he leaned in for his morning kiss . And she found the answer the moment his lips left her .

" Arjun called , he asked you to join his family for breakfast " Sanskar spoke hesitantly .

Swara bubble of happiness burst at the news , She knew she had delayed it long enough . Last week she had a talk with her mother ,it was awkward but needed to be done and her mother who already met Arjun was accepting and even happy for her much to her delight and now lay the task of telling Arjun.

She had wished that her husband could speak with Arjun instead of her ,how does one go on and tell someone that you were their sister. But she knew it needs to be done without him .

Arjun was his friend first and Swara wanted to not disrupt their friendship even if Arjun wasn't happy with her . She promised herself that she will talk with him and if he couldn't accept her as his sister then she will remain as his friends wife and colleague .

" Do you want me and princess to come with you " her husband asked , he was supportive of her decision and even talked with Arjun and arranged for them to talk alone as she wanted hence the invite to breakfast .

" No Sanskar , I need to do this alone but I hoped for a private setting than his home " she spoke up as the thought of meeting his entire family was not what she planned .

" I Know Shona , he just wanted you to join them for breakfast . I already told him the need for privacy . He will probably have a plan up his sleeves , I think he hoped you might want a familiar place to meet first " he said and swara relaxed a little but not fully .

When Swara finally emerged from their room an hour later  , her husband was already up with their daughter  in the kitchen and they were cooking something .Even though Sanskar can't cook that well he insisted on cooking breakfast at least ever since she got pregnant

And since Lavanya obviously adored her father she ate without complain and Swara did the same . And the moment her daughter spotted her ,she ran towards her with a smile on her face .

" Will the baby come today ?" her daughter asked the  same question she asks every day now  and Swara smiled at her excitement .

" Not today beta , still a long time to go " Swara answered as she ruffled her hair a little ,  And her daughter was disappointed but nodded her head and then went back to help her father to cook .

     Her husband looked up to her and smiled at their princess . When Swara reached the kitchen she forgot momentarily about Arjun invite for breakfast and sat next to their daughter .

" Me and Princess were gonna eat breakfast and watch Nemo while you were gone , want me to call a taxi or do you want to take car ? " Sanskar spoke up reminding her of her commitment to meet Arjun family for breakfast .

" I will take car Sanskar " Swara replied as she didn't want Arjun to offer to give her an ride especially if the conversation didn't go the way she wanted and as Sanskar gently placed the keys beside ,Swara picked it up  kissed her daughter cheeks  as she was busy eating her pancakes and hugged her husband before leaving the house .

During the ride to Arjun house , Swara mind wondered on how Arjun will react to her news. When Swara asked her husband how Arjun could be her brother when she saw Arjun parents who look exactly like him . He simply told her it was Arjun story to tell .

The truth was Arjun father looked exactly like Arjun hence if it not for her husband word she would never have assumed he wasn't his father . And she wanted to know everything about her brother as well .

Did he grow up with him ? Was the one question that sometimes haunted her , when she reached the house Arjun wife opened the door to greet her . Then she was introduced to Arjun parents who welcomed her with a big smile .

Lekha refused to let Swara help in kitchen , so she was left to sit with Arjun parents .Lekha had told her that  Arjun and their kids went out for their tennis practice and will be back soon .

And Swara was nervous that she kept glancing at the clock , Arjun Mother seemed to have noticed her as she kept her occupied with tales of Arjun kids and their antics .By the time Arjun entered with his kids , Swara seem to have learnt more of them than before .

Kavya rushed towards swara in hopes she brought Lavanya as well but once swara answered in negative she went to her room to freshen up , Arnav ,  Arjun 8 year old son bid her a good morning greeting and left as well .

Looking at Arjun finally made the purpose of her visit more prominent . And she was again back to being nervous .

" I told Lekha that Sanskar has been cooking breakfast ever since you got married and she wanted you to have one decent meal , After all I know Sanskar talent doesn't lie in cooking " Arjun spoke up in an way of greeting but swara knew he was anxious as well ,Unlike Swara who knew what she needs to say Arjun was unaware .

When Arjun wife called then for breakfast .Swara was placed beside Arjun father the man who looks so much like him that Swara still can't believe that they aren't related .

" How is Lavanya " Arjun wife asked once they were all seated ..

" She is good , not a day goes by without her asking when will the new baby come " Swara answered back then the converstaion drifted of to somewhere else leaving Swara to eat in soltitude .

" When will you both get married? " Kavya question came out of nowhere that swara was surprised

" Ever since you and Sanskar got married that all she want to know " Arjun answered back .

" But Grandpa and Grandma married after you were born , Sanskar uncle and Swara aunty did as well .Why can't you both get married again " kavya lamented and Arjun and his wife only shook their head and smiled at their daughter antics.

After breakfast , Arjun parents took the kids out as it was a weekend , Lekha who was a nurse had work so she left after getting ready which left Swara alone with Arjun just like she wanted but she didn't know how to broach the topic .

She was seated in the living hall couch while Arjun choose to sit on the near by chair. He didn't intrude her silence , simply waited for her to speak .After five minutes of silence ,Swara knew she can't delay anylonger .

She had hundred of sentences planned out before but all of them failed her at the moment as she blurted about the words .

" I am your sister " she said and didn't look at Arjun while she told him . She waited for him to respond but there was no word .

" Actually I am your half sister " she elaborated this time looking at his face awhile she said those words

" Arent you going to say anything " she asked when he continued to be silent .

" I am sorry Swara  , I am surprised that all ." Arjun answered back , Atleast he wasn't rejecting her as of now she thought .

" I knew it must be shocking , I was shocked as well but I knew I can't pretend to  not know about it , if you want to ignore the ties the bind us together because of him ,I am fine by that .I just wanted you to know.. " Swara spoke up. As her well rehearsed speech were thrown down the drain at his silence .

" There is no ties between him and me . " he answered and swara taken back by his anger . The Arjun she knew never raised his voice and always had a smile to go with his face .

" I am sorry " Swara answered back as she didn't know what else to say , Another five minutes of silence descended on them where Swara grew from anxious to overwrought . She must have been crazy to do this alone without her Sanskar .

" I am Sorry Swara , he is always a sore subject to me . " Arjun answered back after a moment and swara saw he was genuine with his apology and she realized she and her mother were not the only ones affected by his actions .

" Sanskar refused to say anything about your family ,just told me you were my brother .I didn't mean to disrupt your life " Swara answered back cautiously .

" No , I needed to know.  You were always like a sister to me swara , I am happy about the news it just that I have lot of questions in my mind as well . " Arjun answered back

And so swara told him about her past and everything about her mother struggles , and Arjun listened patiently till the end .

"So that was your mother " he finally spoke up and swara was confused by the odd statement .

" What do you mean ?" She asked .

" Unlike you I didn't have the advantage of not knowing him Swara , my mother was married to him when I was born . She was his third wife ,  She was from a poor family and she had five younger siblings , so when the offer came from a man twice her age , her parents only saw his bank account and not his character .

Her choice was taken away from her , she saw his true side from the first day of marriage  .she was too young barely 20 at that time and her family refused to support her and asked her to adjust since breaking a marriage even if the husband was abusive was never heard of .

Then she got pregnant with me and was stuck with him because of me . I don't remember much of my four years living with him  but I do remember the she always cried in that house  .

              She met my father in that house , as you must have noticed by our similarities . He was his younger  brother and they had a age difference of 15 years which resulted in an difference of opinion between them .And he was the only one in that house who supported her .And he was also the only one who lied for her sake . 

          After her parents died and siblings were settled. She sought of a way to escape but   When he refused to give her divorce , and threatened to take me away from her . She quite literally gave up hope but my father was the one who helped her .

  
               He lied to him that I was his son . That they had a affair from long back and it was lie but something that he easily believed due to my similarities with his brother  which led him to throe  out my mom and me  out with his brother . And he got married again 6 months later to his fourth wife

               I grew up in an house where my uncle and mom lived together , we lived amidst several gossips and slur against them that from the young age I was aware my family living condition were not normal .

         He died in an car accident when I was 6  and I have to give my father credit, he waited for another  6 more  years for my mom to come to care for him . And when she did they got married . I know it was an unusual family but I love my family and I am glad my mom had him .

Whenever she talked about her past , she used to mention about your mother . She had only saw the news as she was separated from him by then but she was always proud of your mother and wished she had the confidence to walk away way before ." Arjun answered back . Now it was Swara who was surprised by his side of the story ,but also she had lot of questions

            " Then I am related to your father  as well " she spoke up as she came into terms Arjun father was her uncle .

           " Yeah , I always saw him as my father .I forgot he was his brother as well . Don't worry Swara , he will love to have a niece  .he always missed never being in touch with my other siblings ." He answered back .

             " How many siblings do I have then " she asked and laughed because she didn't want to know but can't help but ask .

          " Four including me , When my parents lied about my parentage they didn't think about the long time consequence .We have two older brother and a sister from his first two marriages  who think I was their cousin instead of brother .  We lost one sibling when his fourth wife died with the child during labor .. After he died my father tried to be in touch with them but they refused his help .And they refuse to believe about me as well.

             Ten years ago I sent  each of them a DNA report with a letter , not because I needed a sibling but I wanted my parents to live without the blame in their minds .

       My Sister wrote me back saying too much passed already that she apologies for not being part of my life and she writes every once in an awhile  .

     My brothers never wrote me back or tried to contract me . And I stopped trying to reconnect .If you want to know our sister lives in Singapore with her husband and two  grown up kids . If you want I will let her know about you .

               The eldest brother  lives in US and he has grand kids by now  . And the other brother is a doctor and lives in  Germany was  never married as far as I know . " he answered her questions .
   

After the initial awkwardness , they talked a lot about his childhood and she told him about her childhood as well ,and soon they were laughing up without awkwardness and swara was relived that the news didn't upset him .

After an hour or so ,swara got a call from Sanskar , And Swara realized he must have been worried .After assuring him she was fine. She handed the phone to Arjun who teased Sanskar about his new found brother in law status .

By the time Swara realized she overstayed , so she bid Arjun goodbye who told her how happy he was that she was his sister . And Swara felt the same it was so easy to treat him as her brother . 

She was about to leave when the door opened and Arjun parents entered with the kids . Swara didn't know if Arjun was going to tell his parents about her ,but she realized it was his decision .

          " I know my parents would welcome you as my sister and I will tell them only if you are okay with it .." he whispered near her and Swara didn't know what to decide but she realized they need to know , so she nodded her answer 

              Swara waited anxiously while Arjun told his parents about them , And Swara was relived when his mother walked upto her and hugged her but swara was more surprised when his father spoke up .

           " I have searched for you ,  But after the trial ,your mother had managed to hide herself away that I thought she must have moved somewhere . I am very happy that I finally got to meet you ,I hope Arjun told you that I am your uncle ." He spoke up and Swara could only nod an answer as she was still surprised that he tried to find her .

          " You tried to find me" she whispered back..

         " Of course , You were my niece .." He said as a matter of fact and Swara wondered how those two could have been brothers .

                When Swara bid goodbye to her new found family , she was happy .  And as she entered her home she was greeted by a sight that still manages to steal her breath .

           Her husband and daughter were seated together in the living hall couch with popcorn and were so focused on watching Nemo . That her arrival went unnoticed .

             Her husband was the first to notice her ,he  simply moved a little from the couch and swara took her place beside him and sat down . As she leaned on to him she was happy .

         No words were needed between them and he smiled a little before he went back to watching Nemo again. And Swara knew he would watch it all over again for the hundredth time if it was for his kids .And the thought brought a smile to her face at the realization sometime during next year the couch will have an newest addition  to their family .
