Hi guys. I am back with an update, hope it doesn't disappoint .

Dedicated to  aamias , you will know why when you read it dear ..

              Swara Maheshwari was working from home today as she finished looking into the files and prepared an defense for her client , When her work was done she looked at the clock and found she still had plenty of time left before she has to pick her daughter .

              So she steeled herself as she took the file she dreaded to open , A list of more than 200 names starred at her . And she realized this two hundred people will witness her marrying for the third  time.

               When Sanskar asked her to marry again this time with friends and family. She was over joyed but soon it got way out of hands as the small scale wedding they planned turned into an full Indian wedding as their family decide to step in .

                And she was left with the task of inviting over 200 strangers to her wedding , But that was not the reason for her resistance , the reason was because she worried that among them would be her half sibling .

             As she glanced the papaer for the fifth time , she counted  13 surname of khanna  were included in the list .

             Without wanting to , she had began the process of shortlisting those names .  Except she didn't know how , all she knew from what her mother slipped was he had children of his own .

               So after an hour she couldn't shortlist the names as she had no clue about them and she felt foolish because there was a chance that person might not be in the list , The only name she was sure of not being related to her was Arjun as she already met his parents  .

Since her mind refused to move on ,she decided to drive to pick her daughter instead but made a brief detour to her parents house as she had time .

  When Swara  drove to Lavanya school to pick her daughter , her mind wandered around the possibility of a sibling around her age , she always assumed her sibling would be far older than her as  he was twice her mother age .

       But Swara didn't know his fourth  wife was younger than her Mother and Also heavily pregnant  during the trial which meant she had a sibling who could be around her age . But she had no idea which siblings of hers Sanskar knew about .

As she got down from her car to pick their daughter up , she was glad to see her daughter playing with someone . But both of their face fell when they spotted swara .

" Mommy, Gauri parents forgot to pick her up again , if I left with you she will be alone .." her daughter voice spoke with sadness that left swara heart break for the little girl pain .

" Who was gonna pick you up today beta , Mom or dad .." She asked and the little girl shook her head as she didn't know the answer .

And Swara heart wouldn't allow her to let the kid wait for a long time till their parents remember her , So she approached her teacher and asked for her parents number and called .

Both of them seem to think the other one would pick her and neither of them wanted to do it , so when swara asked if Gauri could stay with them for the night they agreed instantly as it was Friday .

The little girls chattered together on the ride back home , Swara was happy and wondered how will her husband handled the news of the surprise guest .

When Sanskar drove home, he was pleasantly surprised to hear lot of giggles and laughter , It brought a smile on to his face still he was bit taken back to find Gauri in their house .

His wife was the first to notice him , she came to him and whispered the reason of Gauri visit .

" Why didn't I think of that first .." Sanskar replied back as he used to drop Gauri home often but never considered bringing her for a overnight stay until his thoughtful wife .

The next few hours Sanskar had managed to not only earn Gauri adoration but also undivided attention , She followed him throughout the house while their daughter Lavanya trailed alongside them which left Swara plenty of time to prepare dinner

During dinner it was Lavanya who chatted on and on but Gauri was Silent throughout the dinner that Swara worried the food was not to her liking

" Do you want anything else to eat beta .?" Swara asked the little girl wondering what gotten the sadness in her face .

" No .. " she said and yet barely touched the food. .

" Why aren't you eating ?" The question came from Lavanya this time .

" I am not hungry " the little girl spoke yet swara was sure she didn't eat more than two bites. Everyone always praised her food but this moment she wish Gauri liked it enough to eat few more bite .

" Let eat ice cream then .." their daughter spoke up trying to please her friend but even ice cream didn't convince the little girl which was odd ..Swara briefly wondered if she was home sick .

" Do you want to go home " Swara asked as she regret dragging the girl to their house without asking her wishes ..

" No ..No ..No " the little girl reluctance and drop of tears broke swara heart but she had her answer

" You don't have to go if you don't want too .." Her husband words brought the tears to an end which greatly relieved swara .

As the little girls drifted to Lavanya room to play ,swara was still upset about the dinner that went wrong. She didn't realize she was crying until her husband hands encircled her waist .

" It not your fault Shona .." his words went long way to soothe her feelings .

" Still she didn't eat anyhing " Swara replied back as she made an gesture to wipe out the tears. .

" It a new place ,maybe she really isn't hungry ,why don't you bring her an glass of milk along with our princess. She may be hungry by now that she will choose to drink or you can ask her to tell you when she wants to eat something " he replied back calmly . That gave her bit of hope to make sure Gauri ate something and didn't sleep on almost empty stomach ..

Sanskar choose to build two tents in the living rooms to give the little kids a camping experience as well to ensure Gauri doesn't get scared to sleep alone with lavanya in an strange place.

     One tent was for them and the other for the kids . Swara was glad he had thought of it as she didn't want Gauri to wake up and get scared .

An hour later  swara brought the glass of milk to her daughter room only to overhear an odd statements from Gauri .

" Do your mom always cook that tasty " the little girl question was so different from the way she acted at the dinning table .

"Yeah." Lavanya one word answer didn't satisfy Gauri curiosity .

" Does she allow you to eat as much as you want " Gauri next question gave swara the answer she didn't have few seconds ago .

" Yeah except chocolate and cakes which I can't eat more than one " their daughter answered and went back to colouring her sketch book ..

" Won't you get fat ,if you ate too much " the little girl question confused Lavanya but swara understood where her reluctance to eat came from and she knew where the blame lay.

     Swara entered the room after controlling her anger towards Gauri parents, she knew just the way to make the little girl drink the milk .It might be an small deception but she didn't know what else to do ...

" Come on little girls , Time to drink milk .." Swara voice echoed through the rooms and Lavanya left her colouring books and came to pick her glass while Gauri hesitated as she expected ..

" Don't you like milk .." Swara asked but the little girl shook her head ..

" Okay then , Do you know milk helps you not to get fat .." She asked innocently and she hated herself a bit for manipulating her but swara didn't think the whole your parents are wrong speech would work . But swara will have quite a choice of words to them when she saw them next .

It worked and the little girl took the glass of milk and drank ,After they both finished swara took the glasses and was about to go when the her daughter voice rang up..

" Mommy , can Gauri come to your wedding" their daughter asked .

" I can't promise you that beta but I will ask her parents if they said okay then sure .." Swara answered back as she didn't know where she will stand after her talk with them and didn't want to raise the little girl hope .

" You are getting married .." Gauri voice spoke up and the little girl was already in tears that Swara was glad her husband choose to enter that moment.

" Yeah isn't it great .I am going to get a new dress and It going to amazing " their daughter spoke who was pretty excited about the wedding ever since her husband told her about it

" No it wont, That what they will say at first , then they will get married and you will always be hungry. " Gauri sobs broke swara heart but it was Sanskar who realized just how broken the little girl heart was because of her parents..

" We are not getting married to someone else , we are going to get married to each other again" Sanskar voice answered and held the little girl still her sobs stopped

And a small whisper of " Why " reached sanskar ear but before he could speak up, Their daughter had the perfect response.

" Because I didn't see it , That is why mom and dad are getting married again .." Their princess answered with such confidence on them ..

As the topic diverted from wedding to tomorrow trip to amusement park, the little girls chattered continuously till they were too exhausted that they soon fell asleep in their tents .

Since Swara didn't want to wake them she cuddled next to her husband and whispered what she learned about Gauri no interest in food and Sanskar agreed that it prudent they talk with her parents before the girl starve herself .

The next day the little girl spent a day out in the Amusement park much to the delight of the kids  , And while it took a lie for Swara to convince Gauri to eat she didn't regret it as the little girl enjoyed her food..

When they were about to drop her home ,swara was anxious but yet determined to have an word with her mother .

Few words with her mother ,swara realized her mother was clueless about her daughter eating habits , It took one day for swara to notice and even find the reason .

When Swara retuned back to the car , she was glad Gauri mother understood the seriousness of it and promised to find why her daughter thinks she was fat.  Atleast she wasn't kicked out of the house for speaking up that itself was a victory

Three days later Swara was surprised to find Gauri mom at her doorstep , After thirty minutes of the visit swara truly felt bad for Gauri .

Gauri mom told her ,it was her husband new wife who made the little girl think she was fat .And Gauri dad assured her , he will have an word with her .

        Throughout the ordeal swara realized Gauri mom was happy that her ex husband and wife are having trouble due to Gauri then concerned about her daughter .

Swara was still lost in her thoughts that day , that she was happy to be distracted by the arrival of her husband and daughter .

" Mommy Gauri said she liked your food ." their daughter spoke up as swara took it upon herself to pack enough for both of them .

Her thoughts were jumbled with concern for Gauri  and she decided to make sure Gauri spends most of her time with Lavanya and decided it would be good for her to attend their wedding and decided to invite her mother tomorrow ..

Swara mind was made up and she decided to work on her case files for awhile  but when her husband entered the room she knew it must have been longer than she thought .

" Your princess slept ?" Swara asked as she gently tucked the files  back into the drawer and walked towards him ..

" Yes ,she is sleep and you are tired" he said as she leaned on to him .

" I am fine Sanskar , But I am worried about Gauri . I never imagined parents love to be anything less than unconditional but I don't think her parents care about her ,I can understand her step mom behaviour but her own mom isn't concerned" Swara spoke up upset that a little girl is deprived of love but she realized her husband was silent for awhile that when she looked upto him .Their was mixture of hurt and anger in his face that she didn't understand until she recalled her words ..

" I am sorry Sanskar  , I didn't mean it that way , I know you love your princess more than I could love her But you have to admit you are one in a million . " she said and lightly pecked his cheek with a kiss. Which thankfully worked as he smiled and leaned in to kiss her properly.

And Swara forgot about everything she was worried about the moment his lips touched her , Also the one question she was meaning to ask him as well .

It was only around the next day she remembered it as she woke up to find her husband starring at her with love. She wanted to bask in his love that she decided to ask little later as she leaned upto him for her morning kiss ..

" Is the invites ready , Should we start giving it from today .." her husband question during breakfast brought the question back into her mind .

" Can we talk for a moment before that " she said and since their daughter was around they decided to do it at office .

After dropping Lavanya at school both of then reached karma . She didn't want to wait any longer so she walked into his office ..

" Can we talk now ..?" She asked and he nodded and moved from his chair to the Sofa so she could sit beside her ..

" Is their name in the wedding invite " she asked .

" You didn't want me to tell you and I don't want you to check all the guests on our wedding day instead of me , So I am not going to answer that. " he answered back teasingly trying to lighten her concern .

" I thought I don't want to know.. I still don't want to hurt mom but i really want to know Sanskar .. Tell me what should I do " she asked .

" If it helps any , I am sure you would love getting to know him .. He is not like him Shona . He is the most decent guy I knew .." Sanskar asked which told swara she had a brother not much more .

" I need to know Sanskar , Is he going to attend our wedding. ." she asked finally waiting for the answer she wondered for weeks .

" Yes Shona ,he will definitely attend and you already know him very well  " her husband replied and that moment his office door opened and Arjun walked in .If it not for the surprise in her husband face she would have totally remained clueless but she knew she was not only starring at her husband friend but her brother , she didn't know how it could be possible ,she had greeted his parents in his house then how could he be her brother ..

  It didnt make sense but when she looked upto her husband , he knew what was racing through her mind so he gently nodded at her with his answer to her unspoken question  And she didn't know how to react to that revelation.
