Hi guys , I am back with an update .Hope it doesn't disappoint ..

A few hours later ..

                    Swara was worried when neither Arjun or Laksh had called her , it has been few hours since Sanskar was taken away from her and she wanted him back soon .

                   Adarsh had promised to take care of Sanskar till then ,yet swara mind recollected her visit to the police station after Sahil death .

                     Their questions haunted her ,it varied from did you kill him intentionally to ,have you had an affair and so on .

          It was one of the reasons she was thankful for Laksh arrival that day because seeing a familiar face was a relief amidst the trial .

               And so she was glad Sanskar had Adarsh ,Laksh and Arjun during the time , even though she wanted to be with him,  He was right Lavanya needs her .

       All the evidence  against Sanskar were circumstantial  yet he was arrested as the prime suspect since there was no one else to suspect  .

            There was no call from them so far that swara was begin to worry . So when her cell rang she didn't even see the number before answering it .

         " Is he okay ?" She asked not realizing to whom she is speaking .

      " It's Ragini, Swara ." the voice answered back .

       " Did Laksh ask you to call " she asked as her mind wondered if the news was bad enough that Laksh asked ragini to tell her .

      " No I can't reach him. Maybe he is still in court , I called because I am scared about uttara and even mom is not here in the house " Ragini answered back .

          " What happened Ragini " she asked .

        " She looks like a ghost Swara and I don't know what is going on but I am worried she might take a bad decision ever since she heard about Sahil death , She is behaving very strangely and they are sleeping pills lying all around her.." Ragini told her as she took in the sight of uttara .

               That was when Swara realized that there was someone else who could be suspected of killing Sahil ,the one whose heart he broke .

           " I will be there " Swara assured and ended the call as she left Lavanya with her friend Nisha promising to return soon  ,She raced to the Maheshwari house .

                There was a cold fury in her heart as she marched into Uttara room , because of her stubbornness her husband was in jail , And now she is crying in her room as if she didn't destroy swara life .

              But whatever anger she felt  ceased to exist the moment she saw her , It was as Ragini said she looked like a ghost and Swara felt like she was looking at herself after the  horrible day of her life .

          " You killed him " Swara spoke out aloud shocking ragini with the blunt statement but swara knew ragini suspected the same since she was the one who saw her first as well  ,And Swara spoke out loud because she  knew uttara needed to face the truth first .

          Uttara  didn't say a word but starred at Swara for a long time than burst into tears and let the weight of holding the secret for the few hours wash away .

           " It was an accident , I didn't intent to kill him " Uttara kept murmuring throughout the break down.

        " Uttara , you need to tell me what happened exactly like it did " Swara spoke up replaying the exact words Laksh had told her .

              Between sobs and cries Uttara managed to retell the entire story . And after she calmed down swara asked ragini to get some water for uttara ..

              " Do you know your brother is arrested for Sahil murder " Swara told her the news as she knew it will be the only reason for her to gain courage to speak the truth as she wouldn't want her brother  to suffer because of her . It might be hard for her now but living with the guilt throughout her life would be the harder choice .

          " No , No . But why  ?"  Uttara worried herself and then she understood the gravity of her actions and  in that moment she made up her mind .

             " I have to confess right ?" She asked few moments later .

        " Yes you have to but your brothers will be with you  and they will bring you out soon .." Swara assured her and she believed that her husband could do it .

               " No  , my brothers need not take my case .." Uttara spoke up shocking her , And just the moment ragini entered the room as well ..

           " But why Your brothers can help better than anyone else , Tell her Ragini .." Swara spoke up .

            " I caused my downfall and if I lose the case i will take it as my punishment for my crimes against you but I won't have my brothers feeling responsible if they lost the case  " Uttara spoke up .

              Ragini and Swara knew uttara brothers would blame themselves irrespective of the outcome , that when Swara realized Uttara believes that she will lose the case irrespective of what swara told her few minutes ago  yet she wants to confess for Sanskar sake and that was enough for swara to speak the next words

             " I will take your case , It is better than some other lawyer who wouldn't believe you .And ragini don't worry , I intend to win .." Swara spoke up and made up her mind ,though she knew convincing her brothers will be harder , In the field she was an newbie and this case was indeed a tough one .

                 "You are an lawyer " Uttara asked as she was unaware of the fact. Another reason to feel ashamed of her actions when she belittled her when she was blinded by her hatred

                    It took some time but Swara manage to convince Uttara with the promise she will not feel guilty or responsible if they lost the case as Swara had no intention of losing 

                  Meanwhile Sanskar Maheshwari waited for Laksh to come with his bail , Adarsh being his friend took Sanskar statement as truth and Sanskar was thankful that he wasn't treated like an criminal ..

               He breathed a sigh of relief when Arjun and Laksh entered the station .They were finalizing the procedures when he saw his wife enter with Uttara and Sanskar knew even before uttara uttered the words what she was going to say .

              Throughout the confession uttara refused to look at him, and Sanskar realized it was because she felt guilty . Once she realized the truth about Sahil he knew it was matter of moment before the guilt would settle in ..

                  Sanskar and Laksh tried to process the confession where their sister admitted to killing Sahil .

                 " I refused to believe my family and choose to trust him , we were gonna married yesterday but I changed my mind at the last minute  .

             I called to let him know but he convinced me that he loves me and I have last minutes wedding nerves and if I came to see him , Everything will work out , So I went ..

                But I still couldn't through the wedding , so we argued for the first time , And when he realized I won't be convinced he agreed to wait and apologized for rushing me .

   He said he understood and was willing to wait for me , My friend was supposed to come as an witness and he asked me to wait for her to come so we can go back together  and  offered me juice to drink in the meantime  and few minutes later I  felt disoriented that when I knew I was in danger , I tried to leave but he blocked my way and we struggled as he  tried to force himself on me  , I  got hold of the nearest object I found and hit him in the head and I fainted due to the drug effect before I realize what I did  , When I woke a little later I found him dead ,I panicked and ran .. "  Uttara confessed  slowly as she relived those nightmares

             " It has been less than a day , I think you should get her blood tested to find she was drugged before the time runs out .." Swara spoke up as Uttara biggest defense was the fact she was drugged , As her actions could be excused under influence ..

               " You said ,your friend was supposed to come , And you waited for her in Sahil house .did she come ? " Adarsh asked  

              " I don't know .." Uttara answered truthfully ..

              " Did you call her ?" Adarsh asked again ..

             " No ..I just came home and locked myself inside my room ,didn't even get out of the room till today morning " Uttara answered back  ..

               " Tell me the name and address of your friend ,she might be able to give you an alibi .." Adarsh asked as he wondered if her friend witness the incident and ran away in fear as well, An eye witness could help Uttara case

              When Uttara remained silent for awhile ,it was Laksh who demanded she speak up as he thought she as protecting her friend .

    
          " Uttara ,you need to tell them the entire truth ,so they can help you " Swara insisted .

           " Is it the same friend house ,you stayed  with Lavanya " Laksh asked .

             " Yes ,It Kavita bhai .." Uttara stammered her answer out leaving everyone shocked .

              " Ofcourse you choose to trust Siddharth ,sahil and now kavita ,  She will never testify for you even if she saw anything " Laksh lamented..

          " She will Laksh  , Adarsh if you don't mind .I will talk with her first. She might not speak up if she saw you .." Sanskar spoke up the first time  after  Uttara entered the station .

             " No .." the word came from uttara as she addressed him

            " She is still obsessed with you, I don't know what she will demand from you , I already have made you suffer enough ,  You don't have to go and talk with her " Uttara spoke up as she worried what kavita will demand from her bhai .

               " She is right Bhai ..It won't work .." laksh said as well , After no one could expect Kavita to do the right thing .

            " Let him try Laksh .." Swara spoke up because she trusted him enough to know he will be able to convince her ,she might not like it but uttara needs kavita confession she admitted as an lawyer  .

               As Sanskar drew to Kavita house he wondered how she will react , The door was opened by her father instead who said kavita didn't leave her room since yesterday which meant she likely saw something .

                     Kavita Roy had never been scared as she was that moment she ran away from Sahil house .  When her door was knocked  she worried it would be the police who came to arrest her thinking she killed both of them . By now they must have found the  bodies  ..

             Will they  really believe they killed each other most likely not but the knocks grew insistent that she opened the door to come face to face with Sanskar .

            " Can we talk ?" Sanskar spoke up if the ghostlike expression was any indication she most likely saw the event ..

            " I didn't kill her Sanskar , Believe me , I didn't kill her " she kept saying till it dawned on Sanskar she assumed both of them were dead .

             " You didn't kill her because she is alive  " he said which brought such a relief to her yet she had to ask ..

            " Sahil .." She asked and he simply shook his head ..

            " And what did you see when you went to his house " he asked and hoped he would be able to record her confession in his phone as he pressed the record button few minutes earlier .

           " Nothing, I  didn't go there ,I don't know anything .." She lied instantly ..

            " Do you know it was because of you my sister is in jail , it was because you helped Sahil trick her ,he is dead .do you honestly think I won't be able to make you the suspect of sahil murder instead of my sister  as I know you also visited the house ." he bluffed but she fell for it and told him how she stumbled on both of them on the floor .All she saw was lots of blood assumed both of them were dead  , so she ran away . And was hiding in her room since she will be suspected ..

          " Kavita , I have already recorded your statement .And if you didn't come and testify on court I might have to  make you an suspect as well just like you feared .It will be better for you to do it willingly  .. " Sanskar spoke up which yielded her agreement to testify .
 
 

                  On his way back home Sanskar stopped at the bakery to buy the chocolate cake as his daughter wished ..

                  And as soon as he entered he was  greeted by his daughter who was delighted to see the cake .. 

               " It my birthday " his little girl chattered on that Sanskar felt like an idiot that he forgot his daughter birthday . His wife should have told him he thought as he marched inside his house in search of his wife  ..

                Who was engrossed in files working on uttara case ..  And he realized it must have slipped her mind ,She smiled when she saw him .. And walked upto him and leaned on him to reassure herself he was finally back ..

            " You are back , Did kavita agree to testify ..what did she see .." his wife questions were left unanswered as their daughter ran back into their home ..

        " Come papa , Come mama .I need to cut the cake .." their daughter request reached their ears .

       " Come on Shona ..Let celebrate our princess birthday first " Sanskar spoke up as he lifted his daughter in his arms ..

         " What Birthday  ,Your princess birthday doesn't come for another two months .I should know after all  I gave birth to her .." Swara spoke up and froze as she realize what she just spoke up , Sanskar realized her words and looked at their daughter who remained clueless about what her mother just said ..

        " Who said today is your birthday princess " Sanskar asked to keep her daughter occupied since swara was still in shock

          " I don't have a birthday , But my friend Gauri said no one in her family celebrate her birthday .so I can have her birthday has mine .. " his princess spoke up breaking up their hearts .

           " Princess , Who said you don't have a birthday .." Sanskar asked her .

          " Well then why didn't I celebrate one before ." His little girl question tugged at his heart

           " Because we weren't with you back then right , From now onwards papa and mama will celebrate all your birthday with big chocolate cake , Okay .." He promised their daughter

           " So when is my birthday Papa " the little girl asked an answer every father should know except Sanskar , thankfully his wife was recovered from her slip of tongue by then .

           " December 5th beta and as Papa said we will celebrate it and we can even invite all your friends ." Swara answered

           "  Can I cut cake today as well " their daughter asked and her smile at their yes was worth celebrating her birthday every week .

                Swara slip of tongue haunted for the next few hours , As Sanskar tucked in his princess she stood near him and wondered will their little girl adore them the same way when she realize swara was her birth mother who abandoned her for the first five years of her life ..

                Sanskar noticed his wife sadness and wish he knew a way to raise her spirit , Yet some battles when it comes to uncertain future can't be ridden with mere words . Still he held her a little closer that night hoping to comfort her in any way he can ..

                 But that  battle was for when Lavanya grew up , there was another battle to be fought in the near future the one where his sister life is in the line and so is his wife career as Sanskar knew another failure in the justice system will shatter her new found belief in the laws. .
