Two weeks later

Swara was almost in tears .And Sanskar can't help but try to console her .

"It doesn't hurt that much Swara , You don't have to be here ." Sanskar told her which made swara cast an angry look at him ,  The doctors have said Sanskar legs were fine and he can try to walk slowly from today .

He had known it would hurt ,raj who was helping him walk knew it would hurt but not swara who was in his room trying not to cry at every wince and every painful expression in his face .

" Can't we try it an week later   You legs might be well by then .." She said for the fifth time in the last ten minutes .

" The legs are fine Swaraji ,it hurts because he didn't walk on it for an month . And an week later will hurt just the same or more ." Raj replied back trying to calm Swara while Sanskar tried helplessly to hide the pain from his face .

She left the room in anger then came two seconds later like the last three times .And got herself seated in the chair .

    Because she cared and Sanskar knew it was going to be hard to let her go , he knew she might go back if he started to walk again and suddenly trying to walk a week later seemed like an great plan .

Swara moved into his house after she convinced her mom the very next day .It was awkward at first as they were both two people who never were good at being friends . But in this two weeks Sanskar had found an good friend in Swara .

He learnt several things about Swara like the fact she was an big help with his case work . No wonder all of his colleagues despaired when she quit . He always did everything on his own, so never knew .

Unlike last time he still had steady number of cases due to his name .But he had relegated all the cases  for this month to Arjun till he gets better though he works on them in his house and sent enough  helpful notes for Arjun .

When the doctors announced he shouldn't walk for an month . Sanskar knew he deserve to take an break . He never took an vacation ,much less an sick holiday the last few years . And so he took an break and spending those days with Swara made him happier .

Since he didn't want swara to be bored being stuck with him in the house. He had asked her help with his cases and he was surprised by her and realized working together with her was more fun and he liked it a lot .

Swara remained in her seat till Sanskar stopped his exercise .It was hard to watch him being in pain .And it was harder to realize she won't be able to stay here when he got better .

Her mom was shocked by her decision to move in with Sanskar .But swara wanted too and for the first time in an long time she found courage to do what she wanted .And she was happy .She liked spending time with Sanskar .

She would treasure all the moments of happiness for a long time , She was still lost in her thoughts she didn't realize Sanskar was speaking to someone in the phone .Only when he addressed her after the call .She realized he was talking to her . When he gained her notice he repeated what he said again

" That was Arjun , There is someone in office who wants to meet me and she refuses to speak to anyone else .And I think I have to go " he said .

         Swara knew no one in office knew about his accident except Arjun who was only briefed last week when he came to see Sanskar and found swara in his home .

So it might be because of that swara felt protective of him and insisted she would go with him .When Swara and Sanskar entered the office four shocked faces greeted them and Aisha glared at Swara as if she broke Sanskar legs just like she murdered Siddharth .But none of them got an chance to speak up as arjun rushed both of them inside his office .

Swara stared in shock at the shaking figure seated in the chair .There were no similarities between swara and the women except the fact she had similar strangulation marks in her neck just like swara and she was pregnant as well .But her hands were covered in blood unlike swara .

" Take swara out " the command was issued by Sanskar the moment he noticed the woman .

       "  No". The words came out from both Swara and the women at the same time .One look at Swara ,Sanskar knew she won't listen to him , so he dropped it ..

                 " What happened ? " he asked gently . While Swara tried to walk toward the women he helds her back by an gentle grip on her hand . She choose to listen to him for now .

            " I killed my husband just like her , I saw the newspaper and if you can marry her then I know you will help me out ." The woman spoke up pointing her finger towards swara  and sanskar wanted to make swara leave but he knew she won't so he simply pressed lightly on their interwined hands as an show of support, she nodded letting him know she was fine .

             " Why did you kill him?" This time the question came from Swara instead .

              " He tried to kill my baby " the women sobbed as her hands went instantly around her neck just like swara , it was too much of familiarity that she gripped sanskar hand tighter .

                " Why " Sanskar asked trying to keep her talking .

                " Because the baby isn't his just like hers .."  She said

                       " Everything you read in newspapers isn't true  , And I need you to tell me who was the father and when did you husband found out the baby wasn't his " Sanskar asked  gently and the women began to tell her story .

           An hour later ,Sanskar had assured the woman whose named they learnt later as Priya .That he will take her case  , Swara was so reluctant to call the police but she understood why Sanskar had Arjun call them .

      Not reporting would have made the case weaker , Sanskar assured they will get her released soon but swara was still upset about it through out the ride back.

                  She was troubled by the priya plight and she couldn't sleep .When she got up and went to kitchen to get  herself an cup of water , She found Sanskar was still in his office as the light were still on ,she gently knocked at his door and went inside ,he was reading some files and she know he was troubled by today encounter just like she was .

                  " Can we help her " she asked , As he noticed her .

                 " It will be not easy but I intend to try ,And Swara what do you think about it ,do you believe her .?" He asked .

                    " She doesn't seem like lying .But the case against her will be strong  .She stabbed him sanskar . How can we make it into self defense ." She asked clearly worried about her .

               " I am just going through the police report ,The stab marks were sloppy except it cut an main artery  .She might have stabbed him but her intent was not to kill . It was the object near her and she didn't intend to stab . She just tried to threaten him with it .It was the struggle with her husband that got himself stabbed ." He said and yet he looked worried .

                    " Then why are you worried .?" She asked .

                    " The child father , the man who raped her .That the problem ." He began to explain but swara got angry at him for being scared to take on someone just because he was an big politician

              " So what he is an big politician and you are scared ?" She lashed out .

           " No the problem is making the judge believe her ,She didn't file an complaint and her husband didn't do anything when she told him because he didn't want to fight against an powerful man but gotten angry enough to abuse her when she got pregnant , it would be hard to prove it has rape and we need the judge to be on our side to make the judge believe her " he said .

               " Yeah , What if you are right when the world refuses to believe you . " she agreed

                " And may I ask why you lashed out on me without letting me finish speaking " he  queried .

                   " You know my father is not in picture right (at his nod she continued ) it because my mom was an victim herself .She fought for justice but as I said not everyone get their justice .

    And I just didn't like it when I thought you hesitate to take her case because the assailant was an power full  politician " she told him another part of her past .

                   " What happened to him now .." He asked outraged for her sake .

                    " He died in an accident on the day I came into the world .Dida used to say it was God justice that he wiped him off the face of the earth before I was born .." She replied back .

                    " So what do you suggest we do .I need to be able to prove everything she said is true , if the judge didn't believe any part of her story then they most likely won't believe the rest " he asked her .

                  " I should know . I stood on the receiving end of it And Sanskar I just remembered how many people testified against me . From my neighbour to my classmate I never talked more than few times .All of them were false testimony. So what if we could find one or two testimony that supports her ." She asked bit excitedly .

           " What do you mean Swara ?" He asked .

           " My mom used to say that several people were affected by the man just like her but no one heeded to stand by her as their were scared .So we can check into this politician other victims , a monster like him would not have remained innocent for this long .we don't need several people . if we could convince just one or two  people to step forward then it might help in her favor right ." She said and though Sanskar knew the task might be not easy but he had hope .

                   Sanskar started the trial in an wheel chair by the time the trial ended an month has passed and Sanskar regained his ability to walk ,   It was not an easy case by any means .

         But because of swara single minded determination ,she was able to make 8 women came forward against  the politician  .He lost his political and public backing in an single day , And they won the case .

           Sanskar eyes never left swara when the Judge pronounced the not guilty sentence . Her eyes that brightened up and the smile that broke into her face had made this victory feel more special .

           And Sanskar was thankful that his legs were  restored to its full strength ten minutes later as he walked towards swara . Because he sure didn't expect that she would crash into his arms in an solid embrace . He didn't think twice before embracing her back .Because there was nothing to think about .And he felt happy to just hold her and with it came the sinking realization he was already started to fall for her and now that he finally able to walk again .She might move out and his mood turned gloomy at the thought of living in that house without swara .

                   The next day kavita Roy marched into Shekhar office , her mood much gloomier as she saw today newspaper . She didn't notice the another guest in the room .
 

             " Today the newspaper calls her an hero , she is known as the woman who made all the other victims take an stand .She singlehandedly managed to bring one of the powerful person in his city down ,Every news channel are talking about her .And did you see this picture .Do you see how he is holding her  .I told everything I know about Sanskar to make him mine not to be written about as the most romantic love story that was ever written .

          In one day they become the adored couple , a perfect mixture of an lawyer who fights for the down trodden and his wife who fights for women empowerment .And what were you doing all this awhile .." kavita finished her lament then only she noticed the third person in that room ..

          " Who are you ?" She asked .

         " I am Sahil and you must be kavita ,It was nice to meet you and well done on asking him what I wanted to ask " he said .

             " You both are too young and ignorant .None of it will matter when I am done with them .You both wait and see what I am capable of , She killed my son and you think I will let her be called an hero .Never as long as I live .." Shekhar voice rang out and both sahil and kavita smiled as they understood the war has just began
