  Swara was known to be an night owl , but after getting married slowly she become an early morning person thanks to her husband . She had her own room in her house,so she used to sleep and wake up whenever she wanted but now that she is sharing her room with him, Slowly her habits changed as her husband was quite the opposite. And she started to sleep little earlier than usual everyday.

       
When he started going for the office, he would come back home so tired yet will try to keep her company as she would not be able to sleep that early .They will catch up on what happened that day and watch tv or simply talk soon she will notice how sleepy he is and not to torment him further will decide to sleep as well and that how she started to sleep early and wake up early as well.

       
Today she was up even before him, it seemed impossible in the first few weeks of there marriage now it happens almost most of the days. So keeping up with new changes it was no surprise to Swara that she  was the one who woke up first after last night chat .Now that she is up, she decided to get ready first and then wake him up because he looked exhausted and deeply asleep.

Sanskar on the other hand was still sleeping way past his normal time. When his mom Akanksha Maheshwari was alive ,He used to be just like Swara too, sleep very late then his mom would be waking him up so that he can go to school or college on time. He can always rely on her too wake him up but when she died lot of things changed in his life , one was his sleeping habits. 

     
Sujatha aunty was such an sweet person that she will never wake him up as disturbing his sleep made her feel bad .So after being tardy  to school for the first two weeks in spite of his 5 alarms every day that always ring but never were able to wake him up. One day he had a surprise visitor in the early morning in the form of his Ram uncle.  He took the effort to come to his room and wake him up as he knows his wife would not do it.

     
 Sanskar was first shocked then thankful for his uncle but after an month he felt bad for him that he decided to change his sleeping habits and tried to sleep early so that he can wake up early, it took him some time but he was able to do so . After all Humans are capable of adapting to the new environment. 

       
But now that he was married to Swara, his habits changed as well. He began to sleep a lot later than his Usual time but forced himself to wake up early , which led him to be sleep deprived and finally one day it caught up with him . He was sleeping way past his normal time when he felt a hand gently waking him up .

     
 It was his wife, She simply stated it almost 8 and just said  that she decided to wake him up as he told her about an important meeting at 9 in the morning. He thanked her and rushed to get ready. So now that he had this assurance that there would be a person who wakes him up so he wont be late for the office . It gave him some sort of relief that he started to sleep a little longer than usual .He slowly opened his eyes today  to find his wife fully dressed up and was standing beside him with the dilemma of whether to wake him up or not. Her face broke into a smile seeing his eyes flicker open and as her dilemma seems to be pointless now.

"Good Morning  Sanskar , Since i didnt know what our plan for today, i didnt know whether to wake you up or not " She spoke up as she glanced at him with her trademark smile that would convey her level of happiness most of the time

" Good Morning Swara, So sorry about that , it look like you even got dressed up .But our day  doesn't start till 12" he answered back feeling bad that she got ready early because of him. Yet she wasn't upset with him , it was one of her admirable traits that she was never quick to assign blame or anger and always seemed to take his explanation as enough . 

       
 He decided to order breakfast first since she would have been hungry as she woke up early and after a comfort meal in the confines of the room, he felt his energy return and was excited about the second day of plans and looking at the buzzling city from the balcony had something to do with the anticipation as well

     
" So how about you tell me what the plan today. To avoid further complication like the morning incident " his wife spoke up breaking the comfortable silence that surrounded them after breakfast and he liked it, he liked the silence with her as well as their conversations. 

   
 " Nice try, But it wont work " he answered back with a smile to let her anticipate it for a few more hours and it was good to see her excitement as well ,maybe he didn't really bungle up the first date as he sometimes feared after yesterday.

   
" That so unfair, have you kept all the date destinations a secret from your previous dates as well" She asked him which surprised him 

" What dates?" he asked her slightly  confused by her questions

" Well where did you take Kavitha and your other dates before our marriage ?" She asked him , he didn't know how to explain that he hadn't that much experience with dating but he wanted to be honest as well . Because she need to know everything about him

" Kavitha was keen on dating , i suppose it has something to do with her being love with someone else and marrying me because of pressure from her father and i never went any dates  except few which Adharsh dragged me to as double date before he met your sister.  Even that Adharsh was the one who planned not me" he admitted to her , it wasn't flattering of him but it was the truth .

"You got to be joking right, The most eligible bachelor in the city Mr Sanskar Maheshwari never went on a single date before me .Awesome .Wait  did my sister raised you qualifications to me when she asked me to go on a date with you 2 years ago " Swara teased him back , he was relieved she didn't look at him like he was an alien for his less that stellar dating history.

     
 " I am not joking, and your sister was not exaggerating , yep i was the most eligible bachelor in the city who was not interested in dating.  So what about the most eligible bachelorratte Miss Swara Bose, how many dates have you been on for you to look down on me." he teased her right back, it was fun to rile her up or have fun at her expense until her answer sobered him up in an instant .

" Compared to you Sanskar, I am an expert on dating , back in college i would skip  the last class almost every day to go on a date  but no one in my family knows about it except Ragini since we studied in the same college  and i don't think she told anyone else because my mom never scolded me for it. I liked dating, the newness of it and though none of the person i went to date with proved themselves to be worth my time. I still had fun " Swara spoke up and expected to see a smile on his face instead he was still and silent that it began to bother her. And then he changed the topic about it was late and they need to get ready leaving her wondering if she did something wrong

       
In Less than an hour they both were ready and out of the room and the conversations was kept minimum until they were on the taxi not because of her but because of Sanskar new found interest in one word answers.  Swara was so confused, she thought her husband was different and she still feel that way but maybe she should have kept this information to her . After a ten minutes of silence she couldn't keep her thoughts from not spilling out .

" I also heard from my sister that you were such a nice and modern guy who is open minded just like me, but i think she was wrong on that aspect as well. Come on Sanskar ,yes i went on lot of dates because i liked getting to know someone and it not like i was serious with any of them even then it was my past and i don't get why you are so upset about it making me feel bad for being truthful" She spoke up and saw his eyes widen in shock as if he didn't expect her to straight up talk about it. But his expression looked offended as well as mildly amused that she wondered what was amusing about it

" Come on Swara ,you seriously think like that about me, that i would be upset that you went on a dates before meeting him. It that how you think of me " he asked her and she felt like maybe she misjudged him but he had been giving her one word answer for over an hour and what else was supposed to think she didn't know.

 " I thought i knew you well sanskar ,that why i told you about it when i haven't even shared it with my parents ,as you would not judge me like them .  But your silence made me wonder if you weren't upset with it then why are you detached from me after the conversation and don't tell me it was nothing because i wont believe you" Swara answered back as she turned towards him intent on finding out his reason now that she was reassured it was nothing to do with the fact she dated in the past.

   
" Well when you told me that i can plan for the honeymoon on my own and you had no specific place you want to go, i just wanted to make it special experience for you,so i took you sister help in deciding the place as well most of the date destination , and after you told me that your sister didn't know about the dates you went back in college, i realized your sister had no idea about it. So i was just worried that all my plans for you can be something you already did before and it wont be much of a surprise"  he  answered back surprising her because it was nowhere near what she assumed.

             
Swara has already decided there was no guy in the world who is so perfect like him. Just when she think there is no way he can surprise her more than he already did, he goes and do something like this that make her so happy . And here she was blaming him once again for being narrow minded. 

         
She is starting to feel this new feeling called regret ever since she got married to him. Usually all her life, everyone kind of bypassed her wishes and she always felt like some one who needs more love and more respect. But when it comes to this relationship ,for the first time in her life she feel like she is the one receiving more and while it makes her happy ,it also fills her with regret for not doing anything in return for him. At least she can calm him down and make him stop worrying about something so silly, her mind suggested 

      
" Really Sanskar, how can you worry about such a silly thing, don't you know i lived in India .So No date could possible  have taken me too the place you are going too take me too.  Unless it is not in New York but india" she answered back as she drifted back the conversation to the teasing mode they had earlier that day 

    
" Come on Swara ,even i know that, i am just talking about the theme in general .How can you not get it " he answered back looking adorably confused that her heart went out for him. He really wanted to make her happy ,the knowledge made all the difference

 " I do get it Sanskar, But it is  still silly . The theme ,the destination none of it make the date special, it who you are going with. And i think a great business man like you would know the difference. But chalo , a person who has more experience in dating world is telling you, you might go to a same movie with ten different person but each time the experience differs based on who you go with .  So can you please stop worrying for such simple things like that ," She spoke up this time not teasing him but sincerely hoping he would stop worrying about it 

" You are right, maybe i am over thinking it, " he spoke up with a smile that she felt herself smile right back at him , and she meant every word she told him ,the date didn't matter as long as the person who she spends it with and Swara was happy the person was Sanskar that she didn't even pester him about the destination of their date for the next ten minutes but she talked about several other things and she was glad that they got back their comfort level back

   
 While it may be just an hour, Swara didn't like it when she was in odds with Sanskar, it may be due to a miscommunication between them but in this short time, he had became an integral part of her life that his silence had the power to hurt her. And she was glad they sorted it out because not only she got Sanskar back from his silence but it also made her learn more about him, it was why she agreed to this trip and each aspect she learn about him makes her believe that maybe maybe this marriage would work after all.
