Supposed future series part 5

Swara was tired of the tears that she shed over him . She wiped her tears for one last time, He didn't deserve those tears. He broke her in the worst possible way.  She was married to him. Few months back it was all she wanted but now.  This forced marriage was suffocating her.

The day when he found her with Laksh was the day that transpired all this events. He didn't say an word that day. But Swara knew she needed to clear up the misunderstanding as soon as possible . She managed to let Laksh knew it wont work , he tried to convince her to give him a chance but she refused to change her mind . She doesn't need more complication in her life.    

She never realized what it means to be on the wrong side of Sanskar Maheshwari back then. But she sure found out soon enough. He refused to answer her call ,refused to respond to her text and she even tried visiting his office but again she couldn't meet him . She was frustrated with him  and  yet she hoped if she gotten around to explain it. He will realize his foolishness.

For over an week, All her plans to meet him was an failure. And then when one day she got an parcel from him. She opened it up with fear. Only to find the truth that shattered her. It was an DNA report, And the name Shekhar Gadodia stood out. Just like that Swara finally had an face to hate. And she was hurt her family kept it from her. But the person she hated the most was her ex friend,  Who purposely decided to reveal it to her. She knew it was his form of payback for her supposed betrayal.

     
The idiot instead of listening to her side jumped to the wrong conclusion again ,that was the moment she decided to give up on him . And yet her heart refused to fall out of love with him . He knew how vulnerable she was about her father and he choose to reveal the information so that she would be hurt as much as he was to know she had dated Laksh behind his back.

          
The truth of her parentage shattered her  ,not only was her father alive but he was living right next to her and yet refused to acknowledge her . She hated him and didn't intent to do anything about the truth . But  the next time when her dadi spoke up against her upbringing. Swara lashed out revealing the closely guarded secret of her parents. She had heard enough.

       
But what she didn't expect was her dadi reaction. All it took was the one declaration and everything changed. She was happily accepted in to the Gadodia family. Swara took immense happiness with her new found sister,  And she liked that her dadi finally called it an truce with her dida. She still hated her father and refused to speak with the man who never stood up for her.

      
She had two families from that day . Some days she would stay with Ragini and remaining days she would stay with her Maa and dida.  She thought that was the end of Sanskar revenge . But she grossly underestimated his thirst for revenge. And when she heard Ragini Alliance with Maheshwari family was fixed. She realized just how much length he would go to hurt her even to the point of marrying her sister to prove a point .  

She tried talking her sister out of the marriage, But it didn't work out as her sister refused to go against the elders wish . She did everything in her power to prevent the engagement from happening . But all her plan end up as an failure .                

And on the day of the engagement , she was waiting for him,  to convince him to change his mind . But she didn't get time to talk to him , and she felt like her heart was breaking apart to realize the man she loved was getting married to her sister .              

She stood close to Ragini ,lost in her thoughts when she heard Laksh speaking up ,she noticed him entering with Sanskar as if they were brothers and only she knew the hatred that runs in Sanskar . He refused to even look in her direction and that bothered her a lot .       

" I am in Love with Swara,  " the declaration from Laksh  brought a silence in the house as everyone turned to look towards her .        

" But we thought the engagement was between Ragini and you,  " her father words , brought the reality she wasn't aware of ,it wasn't Sanskar but Laksh who was getting engaged today .        

  " I already met Swara before uncle ,and I liked her a lot . But she refused me so I accepted my parents choice of a bride but I couldn't do it after seeing her ,  " Laksh heartfelt declaration,  fell in  her deaf ears as Swara eyes only focused on him .        

It was his plan she realized to make sure Laksh never gets the girl he loves ,he knew Swara will never marry the person her sister liked ,of course Swara wasn't dumb that she didn't notice the happy wistfulness in her sister face over the days .               

The truth was Sanskar needn't go to this extent ,she would never marry Laksh when her heart still was in love with him  but she realized it was to make sure Laksh never gets who he loved        .Ragini her sweet sister asked Swara to take her place and get engaged to Laksh . That was not something even Sanskar anticipated.  But Swara refused to do such thing. Even Durga Prasad Maheshwari was silenced  after his son behavior.           

  That was why she sent him the text , it was more of a threat that if he didn't meet her in dida house , she will reveal his intention for revenge to Laksh and his family. She anticipated his arrival and was thankful dida and her mom wasn't home . But she didn't expect the anger that coursed through her veins at seeing him .

       
  " You destroyed my sister life , first you refuse to marry her and now you dragged it till engagement and broke it off . Frankly I choose to be your friend hence I understand you destroying my life in your miscalculation that I knew he was your cousin when I went on a date with him . But Ragini, she was innocent why break her heart over your so called revenge,  " Swara lashed at him and didn't bother to hide the hurt behind his actions .

         
" I am sorry , I know you may hate me but I will not choose you over my revenge, " Sanskar voice resonated and it made her froze for a second ,his apology seemed sincere and she wanted to make him understand that none of it was her fault .            

" I didn't know he was your cousin,  " she spoke up, trying to make him understand but she never expected him to say the words that will shatter her trust in him .       

" I Know Shona ,you will never date him behind my back . But Laksh did fell in love with you and I couldn't be your friend and destroy Laksh love life . I had to choose and as you can see I choose revenge " Sanskar voice was utterly calm compared to the rising anger in her .          

All the days of worrying that she was misunderstood when in turn it was she who misunderstood him .He wasn't her friend not any longer. And her heart squeezed in pain to realize it loved him when he overthrown her for his revenge.  She walked away from him without a word as she didn't want him to see the tears that threatened to fall .          

Things have gotten much worse in her family after that,  Her so called father and her dadi all practically blamed her for the suffering of Ragini. And Swara knew it to be the truth,  Ragini took it all in stride. But Swara couldn't. She hated Sanskar for hurting her,  She hated him very much because of his actions.          

Yet she found Ragini behavior too calm ,It made  her suspicious . And when she found Ragini talking with Sanskar in phone her suspicions grew much more. When she asked her about it. She said they were friends. And he did apologize to her for Laksh actions. Swara believed her sister but not him ,never him .

         
And it was because of that she followed Ragini as she walked to the empty house in the middle of the night . When she stepped inside the house that had been vacant for over a month . She  realized she walked straight into a trap when the doors closed behind her, And when she couldn't  find her sister,  Swara was glad for her  but it turned into fear when she realized she was locked inside the house with him .

          
And her sister was the one who  locked her inside the house she realized seeing the shocked expression on his face. He was expecting her sister not her, Swara realized and wondered what made her sister lock the door. She made her way to open the door by rousing everyone with her knocks but he blocked her hand before it could make a sound .         

" Do you want everyone to realize we two have been locked together in an house , " his words halted her actions as she turned towards him in anger .          

  " Didn't you plan this ,what did you say to my sister to bring her in your scheme , " She lashed back at him          

" You sister seem to have changed  her mind from the  original plan,  " his words brought in a wave of sadness ,she believed her sister was innocent till that moment and his words sealed the deal that her sister was complacent with his plans 

     
" Let me find a way out without everyone noticing,  " he said,  and tried to open the door using his strength but it didn't budge .          

He tried calling his secretary when the door opened on its own revealing Laksh standing at the other side .  And she barely remembered anything after that. There was a fight as Laksh launched himself on Sanskar throwing fists at him It attracted a crowd of its own

  
She was once again subjected to the harsh words of her society. She was called characterless trying to seduce both the Mahshwari boys . They basically called her every stupid names they can think of ,  And something in Swara broke that day. The betrayal of her sister, her best friend everything was too much to take.

She stumbled a little but he was there in a moment to hold her , she saw though he had took several blows from Laksh ,his cousin aim weren't accurate or deadly . She barley remembered him walking her towards her dida house ,  She didn't know what he talked with her mom and her dida . But few minutes later.       

Her mom was asking her to marry him,  her mom and dida only knew Sanskar as her friend not as the one who destroyed . She refused, as she could never believe him. And she was not going to accept until she saw her dida face. The stress has been getting to her and Swara didn't want to worry them anymore.   

Whatever the battles between Sanskar and her will be done between them she decided. And that why she said yes, Yes to Marry him. Their marriage had been an small family affair which had everyone and yet no one was happy about it including the bride and the groom .

    
Swara avoided Ragini because she really didn't want to find the reason to her sister betrayal or talk with her about it . And just like that Swara got married to Sanskar, Not because he loved her, not because she loved him. But because he still wants revenge. Marrying her would forever snatch her from Laksh hands ,she knew it was his reason for marrying her .

            
Tonight was their wedding night , Swara felt trapped inside his room. And in the confinement of the room she cried till her tears were dried up and when the sound of the door being opened she looked up to see the guy who destroyed her life.

He didn't meet her eyes for some reason. She expected him to gloat.  Expected him to speak up about how masterful was his revenge plan. After all she was the only one who knew all about his revenge ideas. But instead he walked towards the couch. And that when she realized he will never speak up. She continued staring at him with pure hatred till he looked towards her.

And Swara expected to see anger, satisfaction or pure happiness instead she saw guilt in his eyes. It momentarily made her confused,  Surely guilt was an alien concept to her friend.  But she was sure it was guilt itched in his face.

The one word "Why" slipped out of her. She never expected him to answer, But he did. His voice was filled with guilt as well.

"It was not supposed to happen. None of this was supposed to happen, " he said and for the first time Swara realized maybe she didn't know everything about her friend .

"What was supposed to happen then" she bit back ,  He got up from his couch and went towards the window.  His back was turned away from her as if he didn't like to show the guilty side of him. And she waited for him to speak up.

" Ragini was supposed to get married to Laksh. She was in love with him from college days , she called me after the engagement day told me she knew a way that I could have my revenge ,she overheard us talking in dida house.

She wanted to marry Laksh and she asked for my help to make it happen and I agreed since Laksh marrying anyone except you would make his life hell but to marry your sister that was bound to make him lose his mind , we were supposed to meet and discuss on a plan

        
She already offered friendship towards Laksh and promised to help him make you fall in love with him, Laksh trusted her and she used it to finally get what she wanted. You out of her way,  " Sanskar spoke up,  leaving Swara shocked  

As if she found the missing puzzle piece , Swara mind finally realized his whole revenge plan.  She wasn't the target of his revenge this time around and she got caught in between because Laksh loved her.

Yes Ragini might have had bigger part to play in her supposed destruction then she anticipated.  But Sanskaar was the reason for everything that went wrong in her life

She knew he was speaking the truth ,  But the marriage. That was not Ragini idea, she just wanted to destroy her image. If not for revenge why did he marry  her mind wandered. Then her mind finally stumbled upon the answer leaving her shocked.

"You married me out of pity or was it guilt, What you thought my character was tarnished and you want to play the white Knight. Did you ask me if that what I want. You think you can stab me and then pretend to care, " each of her words were meant to cut him and it sure did. She knew she was right. He married her to make up for his mistake .

"I  told Laksh everything, But he didn't believe me. He thought I was lying.  He thought we both played with his emotions. Because he trusted Ragini words over mine . I didn't know how to correct my mistake.  I just couldn't stand there and let Ragini win, " He finally told her everything.

"So now what I should be thankful that you saved me ,  Forget it. You destroyed me. And my only fault was ever to fall in love with an guy like you, " She finally slipped up. She never wanted to tell him not after how much he destroyed her. But he turned around as if someone slapped him   

"What did you say ?" He asked clearly thinking he heard it wrong. And Swara looked at the guy who destroyed her because he wanted his revenge. And she wanted to hurt him. And so she did.

" My biggest mistake was  meeting you.  And if you think I am happy because I married the guy I love.  You are so very wrong, I loved you and I no longer feel the same way , Now prepare to see how much I can hate you, " And just like she expected the news shocked and hurt him. Way more than she anticipated.

" You are lying, " He kept saying again and again. And Swara knew she hurt him just like he hurt her. But strangely she didn't feel the happiness.

Because meeting him was indeed the biggest mistake of her life and now she was married to him. Her whole life was turned upside down due to him and her sister.

And she will make them pay,  Revenge can be all consuming. He knew it was the reason Sanskar lost his reasoning when it comes to her and she just didn't know how much she will lose herself in this new quest of hers.  But she didn't care,  She was too hurt to care.
