Epilogue (2) :An Normal wedding

                        Sanskaar is getting married in few hours.. He started at the letter in his hands willing it to disappear.. He didn't need it.. Not today.. Not forever.. All Swara asked for him was an normal wedding.. An normal one. Their life has never been normal, even the first meet, first date nothing was normal for them.. So he wanted to make her happy . And a newly written letter from the women who killed her parents isn't going to make this day an normal one.. Why can't she leave him alone.. He cursed for the hundredth time..

           
                         He knew what to do.. It was risky, he knew that but he had to do it.. While he love his brother.. He can't trust him with the secret..  So he told krish his friend and dashed out of the wedding.. He will make it back in time.. Krish need to cover for him just for two hours..  In worst case scenario if people found out.. Swara need to know her groom didn't run away. Because that would never been an normal wedding.. . Hence he had to tell krish incase things got delayed..

                          It been few months since he last saw her.. The last he saw was on the court.. When she was sentenced with life imprisonment.. Then no word from her till now.. And it had to be on the day of his wedding.. She sure knows how to make it hurt.. She walked inside the room and just a thin glass was all that between them.. Yet Sanskaar could see how she hasn't anticipated her visitor to be him.. She was gonna say something but Sanskaar didn't come here to listen to her.. He came her to have an final word.. He simply showed her the letter.. Her eyes briefly flickered in recognition..

Sanskaar :" I came here.. Only to tell you this.. I am never going to open this letter.. Not this one.. Not the one you might send later.. In fact I am going to drop this letter here and leave.. All your letter will never be opened payal.. So stop writing to me..Haven't you tortured me enough "

Kavya:"  It Kavya.. You know.. My name not payal.. I am sure you don't remember but we have met before I moved to your street.. "

Sanskar :"  I remember.. I do remember.. And I am so sorry I have ever decided to console you that day.. If only I knew you would wreck my life like this.. I would have walked away that day.. "

                            Sanskar didn't regret that day.. If Kavya or payal intercepted his act of kindness and fuelled her obsession it her fault.. Not Sanskaar.. But he was angry.. He thought the chapter of her is over in his life.. And yet the letter especially today.. He didn't deserve it at all..

Kavya :" You remember.. When did you remember.. "

Sanskar :"  No I  not gonna answer that.. I am leaving.. Stop sending me your letters.. "

Kavya:"  You are getting married today.. "

                             That seemed to have stop him in his tracks.. No she can't know about the marriage.. It was an simple family wedding.. No one knew about it except close family.. And because Swara wanted an normal wedding it was kept between family and close friends..

Kavya:"  Don't worry.. I am not going to wreck your life again.. You know the letter.. It was me telling you it was not your fault.. I thought you might be wondering what you did to me to make me destroy your life . Hence the letter.. Now I think you already knew it.. I just need to know when did you remember.. "

                           Sanskar clearly doesn't want to antagonize her further.. Why can't he just have an normal wedding.. He cursed himself all over again..

Sanskaar :"  The day at the court.. When they called you by your name kavya.. "

Kavya :"  Oh.. I know you will never open the letter but I had to try.. You are going to start a new chapter in your life and it pains me to admit but I am happy for you.. But can you please listen to what I have to say for two minutes.. Then I promise never to bother you again.. Before you say you won't trust me.. I know that too.. Just two minutes Sanskaar.. "

Sanskar :"  Fine.. Two minutes.. "

Kavya:"  The day you left me your number gave me sense of strange comfort.. I felt I had someone I can share my burdens with.. So the next time my brothers tripped me and made me fall.. I tried to call you.. But I couldn't because my brother thought I am calling the police or something.. They have locked me inside my room for an whole day.. No one bothered about me.. It was until two days later they found me in my room without conscious.. I had to be admitted in the hospital.. Seeing my condition the doctors advice my dad to take DNA test instead of torturing me.. I was treated that way because my dad didn't think I was his kid.. And because of that my life become better.. Atleast they fed me and stopped hurting me..

                             I was thankful about you for a long time Sanskaar.. When I moved to your street.. I knew you didn't recognize me.. I was not an recognizable person.. Whatever happened after that was not your fault.. I know you know that.. Still I had to say.. I wish I never moved on to your street.. I wish I never met you again Sanskaar..... That all I wanted to say.. Now you can go.. I promise no more letters.. "  

Sanskar :"  I waited for you to call for months actually but it never came.. But I wish it did.. Maybe then I would have recognized you.. Maybe I wouldn't have lost half of my family.. But I did Kavya because of you.. And I wish I can forget that but I can't.. So please stop with your letters... "

                                       
                      She simply nodded and walked back to her cell.. He dropped the letter on the floor and walked away.. Maybe it all over now.. He hoped.. He reached back to his house and thankfully no one noticed he was missing.. He got freshened up and walked towards the mandap.. Yep an normal wedding just like Swara wanted.. Then when the pandit called for Swara.. She didn't come down from her room.. Panic began to set in.. He didn't wait for anyone to check.. But raced to her room.. The door was locked and sanskar can't let it happen again.. He broke the door open only to find his Swara unconscious on the ground.. And definitely not an normal wedding..  He was worried, he lifted her up and would have raced toward the hospital but her eyes slowly fluttered open.. That finally let him breath again.... 

                            But then she broke into sobs.. And it was back to worrying again for Sanskaar.. No one knew what caused this outbreak.. She wouldn't let anyone come near her except sanskar.. She was still holding his shirt and crying continuously for over thirty minutes .. Yep normal wedding is officially gone Sanskaar knew that.. Maybe  the wedding should be called off.. It was the voice of Adarsh trying to be reasonable.. But somehow that stopped her tears.. No she said.. The first word she uttered.. I need few more minutes she said. Everyone left her alone with sanskar for few minutes as she requested..

                               It was until few minutes later she spoke up.. She finally remembered everything she said.. And that when Sanskar knew the reason to her tears.. Today was supposed to be their wedding and first the letter from kavya and now Swara remembered her forgotten memories.. The day was getting weirder by the minute..

                            He wanted to cancel the wedding now.. She just remembered how her parents died.. She knew the truth but still remembering them right now moments before their wedding.. No wedding should be the last thing planned for today.. But Swara was adamant on getting married..

Sanskar :" We can't get married today Swara.. You wanted an normal wedding remember "

Swara :"  We can never have an normal wedding sanskar.. I was delusional enough to think that.. But not again... Do you wanna know how I got my memory.. I saw myself in the mirror.. Hoping to see an normal smiling bride instead saw her face.. For a second I thought she was here for real this time.. Then only I remembered it was not real but an memory.. Then one by one all of the suppressed memories returned.. Till I fell unconscious.. So no Sanskaar we can never have an normal wedding.."

Sanskar:" Swara listen to me please "

Swara:"  No you need to listen to me.. We need to get married today right now.. "

Sanskar :"  Swara you are not thinking straight "

Swara:"  Ofcourse I am not thinking straight.. Do you wanna what I remembered.. Sakshi.. I met her once before that day you know.. We talked only for few hours but I liked her.. And I remembered her dying right in front of my eyes.. Do you know how I felt seeing my dad trying to protect me and each stab would in him killed me an little and my mom  locked me in the room while standing in front of the door.. She didn't even scream Sanskaar not once because she knew I would open the door and come out.. And I killed an man that day Sanskaar.. It was in defense I know that.. But I still kept hitting him even when he died.. I killed an guy and still my quest for revenge didn't die down..

                      And you know what I hate the most.. I didn't even remember her .. I talked with her, smiled with her.. Treated her like an friend to me till that day when she stabbed me mercilessly over and over again.. So yeah forget normal wedding.. We can never have an normal life.. Maybe we shouldn't get married after all.. You don't deserve someone broken like me sanskar.. "

Sanskar :"  You are right.. We shouldn't get married after all.. That what you want right"

                         Swara hadn't expected that.. Anything but that.. She was losing control and he needed to be there as an anchor for her.. He can't leave her.. She won't survive without him.. Maybe she looked like an lunatic to him.. Maybe he was tired of her.. He lost his family too.. He lost his wife as well.. It not just about her.. But the memories of that night made her crazy for a moment but losing him.. No that can't happen..

Swara:" No we need to get married now.. I can't lose you too.. "

Sanskar :"  Do you remember what I said when you first told me.. You loved me.. I told you the exact same thing you said to me.. You don't deserve an broken man like me..  But we both know that already didn't we how broken both of us are .... And maybe we can never have an normal life or normal wedding.. But  I will never give up on us because I need you too.. And I refuse to lose you... Marriage can wait Swara because I am not going anywhere.. You are stuck with me for the rest of your life with or without marriage.. Right now what you need is time to grieve.. Not an wedding.. "

                     Swara knew sanskar was right.. So the wedding didn't happen that day. she knew she need time to grieve.. That night when she sneaked into Sanskar room.. He was already waiting for her.. He knew she will not be able to sleep alone  tonight.. And when she woke twice the same night with nightmare.. She was glad she had sanskar beside her to offer comfort. He simply held her close till she stopped crying and drift back to sleep..     

                         The next day Sanskaar decided to take Swara and Asha on an vacation.. Initially it was supposed to be their honeymoon surprise whole Asha stayed behind with dida.. He planned the trip for just a week before but now he decided Swara needs more time away... They returned home only after an month.. Swara nightmare have finally stopped for over an week..

                         No one panicked more than ragini when they heard Swara got back her memory.. But she was glad because this time Sanskar was their to help her through it.. And he sure did help her.. After the trip Swara returned back to her old self.. And everyone was glad to see her doing well..

                           Swara and sanskar got married four months later than they originally planned .. And their wedding was an Normal one filled with laughter and fun.. They never hoped for an normal life.. But they lived an normal life.. While the past scars always served as an remainder of their tough life.. They never let it hinder the happiness of the present...Asha took some time before adapting to calling Swara mom instead of aunty.. But the first time she did Swara started crying leaving the poor girl clueless..  But Asha had to wait for two years before getting a new sister.. She named her sister Pari as well...

                                   Sanskar did start writing again.. He couldn't have done it without Swara support.. She was still his first fan.. And this time his book was published under his real name.. And when he gave her his first copy as always.. She was more curious about his dedication than the book.. She quickly opened the book to read it..

                  "Dedicated to my wife who decided to fall for broken man like me.. Without her I would have never been able to be happy. . Dedicated to my two little princess who holds my heart forever.. Dedicated to my family who are my strength.."

                       Sanskaar waited for his wife reaction.. But he didnt need to wait for long because the next second she was hugging him.. And for Sanskaar nothing felt more right than holding her close..

P. S :" The End.. I feel like it is not an proper end to this tale.. The epilogue turned to be bit darker than I intended.. But I suppose it fits the tale as well .Also wattpad content team believe this is an Fanfiction.. So i give up trying to change it into mystery genre.. It over after all.. I will miss this tale indeed . "
