7pm

Guests had started to arrive now and the whole place looked no less than a palace. It was surrounded with lights and flowers and in the middle of the ceiling was a magnificent chandelier. The stairs edges were decorated with colorful flowers which made the entrance look no less. Everyone was talking with each other when Arjun came down with his blue sherwani gracefully. Sanskar came towards him.

Sanskar: You look amazing!

Arjun: Wait till you see your bhabhi!

Sanskar: Of course let's see who stole your heart.

They go to Priya and Arnav and along with them were standing Durga Prasad, Ram and Laksh. Arjun takes blessing from the elders and hugs Laksh. 

Priya: Stay blessed! By the way where is Ruhi, Ananya and Aadya? 

Arnav: They are getting her ready. She wasn't even ready to do her makeup and wear jewelry! So they forcefully made her sit down.

Priya: Oh ok but call them soon only an hour left till they need to exchange rings!

Arnav: Ok I'll tell Suraj to go call them. (calls Suraj) 

Meanwhile upstairs in Ruhi's room, Ananya and Aadya along with Ruhi were getting Swara ready. Swara was wearing a white lehenga which was embroidered with a few gold stripes, the top was dark pink with 2 diagonal gold strips and lastly her dupatta was plain white on her neck. As jewelry she was wearing a gold earrings with a matching necklace and matha patti. 

Swara: How much more makeup will you put on me? 

Ruhi: Shush and let us do our work! Ananya pass me the eye shadow pallet. (Ananya passes it)

Just then a knock on the door is heard.

Ananya: I'll go open the door. (she goes and opens the door and sees Suraj) Suraj? What are you doing here?

Suraj: Actually Dad sent me here to call you both downstairs.

Ananya: Oh wait a minute. Aadya how long will it take?

Aadya: Just 5 more minutes!

Ananya: (to Suraj) Tell Ma and Papa just 5 more minutes ok?

Suraj: Ok but hurry up!

Ananya: (nods and closes the door) Hurry up Ma and Papa are calling us!

Finally when they were done with Swara, the four girls descended down the stairs and went to the elders.  

Priya: Finally there you girls are! 

Arnav: What took so long?

Aadya: Actually Papa Swara kept on complaining that her makeup is too much.

Priya: What? Her makeup looks fine! Anyways leave all that. Swara come with me I need to show you to someone. 

She is just about to take her to someone but Arjun comes to them.

Arjun: Swara come with me! I need to show you to my friend!

Priya: But Arjun I was going to show her to someone.

Arjun: Ma please it won't take long.

Priya: Ok fine but come back soon.

Arjun: I will. Let's go Swara. 

He takes Swara to a man but she can't see his face because he is turned around. 

Arjun: Oi turn around!

The man turns around and is revealed to be Sanskar. He looks at Arjun with a smile but his smile vanishes as he sees Swara standing next to Arjun. They share a painful eye lock but it is interrupted when she diverts her eyes towards Arjun. Sanskar looks at Arjun who is holding Swara by her shoulders.

Arjun: Swara meet my friend Sanskar. Without him I wouldn't even be here. And Sanskar meet Swara, I've only known her for 2 years but if feels like I've known her forever. She is one of the most important person in my life. (Swara looks at him with a faint smile) 

Sanskar: Hi Swara. (he says with painful eyes that clearly indicates that he is sad)

Swara: Hi Sanskar.(she says in a low voice but it's audible to Sanskar and Arjun)

Arjun: Also...(gets a call) Ok you two talk and I'll come soon.

They wave bye to him and he leaves unknowingly leaving behind tension and awkwardness between Swara and Sanskar. Swara thinks to avoid the situation so she turns around and is about to leave when Sanskar holds her wrist preventing her to do so.

Swara: Leave me!(she tries to jerk him off but his grip was too strong)

Sanskar: Swara please you can't leave like this! You have to give me answers.

Swara: I have answers to give you or is it you who needs to give me answers.

Sanskar: What you are doing isn't right!

Swara: And what you did was?

Sanskar: I had a reason!

Swara: Oh really! Well Mr Maheshwari I don't want to hear your justification and neither do I care about it. You are nothing to me and never will be in the future! We ended the day you...you killed an innocent life! And I will never forgive you for that! If you didn't want me then you could have said that clearly. I wouldn't have followed you!

Sanskar: Swara it wasn't my fault! And I will prove myself innocent to you!

Swara: Try as hard as you can but even if you are I won't come back to you!

Sanskar: Time will tell that. (he says before walking out)

Swara looks at his retreating figure and wipes her wet eyes. Sanskar comes out of the house and goes to a tree and and hits it with his fist. 

Sanskar: Why is this happening to me? I destroyed my relation with Swara but I didn't expect that it would have turned out that bad! But whatever I did it was reasonable and I will win her back!

Just then he hears a voice coming from somewhere and thinks to check it out. Then he sees Arjun on his knees holding his ears saying sorry to a girl. He goes to Arjun and slaps him and the girl shrieks.

Girl: Arjun! How dare you slap him!

Sanskar: He deserved it!(holds him by the collar) How could you Arjun! You just proved Kiara was right! I risked everything to help you and you did this! What would Swara think?!

Arjun: Swara? What should she think? What's this got to do with her? 

Sanskar: What do you mean? She's about to be engaged to you! And you're cheating on her?

Arjun: What! Me and Swara?! You are mistaken! I'm getting engaged to Riya my girlfriend! Swara's like a sister to me!

Sanskar: Then what was all you said to me back there? (he said looking confused)

Arjun: Oh that! You took it in the wrong way. She is just very special to me like a sister is to a brother that's it!

Sanskar: (let's him go) I'm sorry I thought... sorry.

Arjun: It's fine but why did you react so much on this? You only just met her.

Sanskar: Actually Arjun I know her before today. 

Arjun: What?! How?!
