Chapter 11- Dupatte Wali Dost??

Ragini and Sanskar entered inside their room and closed the door behind. They walks forward and turns towards each other, "Did we really did that?", Ragini utters looking at sanskar without blinking. Sanskar nodded bitting his cheeks, "Did you saw their faces?", Sanskar asked and Ragini nodded bitting her lips , Both looks at each other faces and starts laughing hugging each other, "We did it. We did it", they jumps around hugging each other like a kid laughing loudly.

The door bangs opened,"What are you both doing?", Sujata asked in a loud voice stopping them. RagSan looks at each other clingy position and instantly moves back being awkward. "Wo... Wo....." Sanskar looks around the walls as sujata passes them a look while, ragini looks down instantly with burning face. "Why can't you knock and then come?", Sanskar asked as he coughed and makes his voice strict. Ragini instantly looks at him shaking her head while, sujata mouths slightly opened.

"Have I kept you inside my stomach for 9 months to ask your permission from coming inside your room?", Sujata asked dramatically cupping her cheeks as she looks at him shaking her head being disappointed, Ragini instantly kept her palm over her mouth to prevent herself from laughing while, sanskar instantly smacks his head, "Ouch!", He utters rubbing his head making Ragini, giggle who instantly stopped seeing his stern gaze.

"What?", Ragini throws her hand in the air and turned towards sujata, " Ragini Chori, come I need your help", Sujata says and ragini nodded. "What help? Where are you taking her?", Sanskar instantly asked. "I am going to kidnap your wife, choray. Don't tell anyone", Sujata says making a serious face while, ragini instantly keeps a palm over her mouth while, Sanskar frowns. "Sarcasms doesn't suits you, Mom", Sanskar utters rolling his eyes. "Shat Up, Choray", She hits his head and holds Ragini hand, "come chori and ignore this unwanted creature", Sujata says twisting her lips making Ragini laugh as they walks out making sanskar stomp his foot angrily at their retreating figure, "Huh!"

"What happened mom?", Ragini asked as both walk towards the stairs "I need to talk", Sujata says while, ragini stopped her holding her hand and makes her sit on stairs. "Tell", Ragini says blinking her eyes while, sujata looks on. "Dekh chori tu maray ko galat mat smjhna", Sujata utters pointing her fingers at her while, ragini smiled shaking her head. "I will not. Now, say", Ragini utters. Sujata looks at her blinking her eyes, "Can.... Can you take a day off from your work tomorrow?", Sujata asked while, ragini looks on hearing her.

"Dekh Ragini, I don't want you to think that I am saying this because I don't want you to work but, I want you to work but, I want your one day but, I also want you to go. Are you understanding me, chori?", Sujata asked nervously looking at her while, ragini looks on scratching her head with a smile.

"No, you are not getting. You are thinking that I am doing this because I don't want you to work but, I am -", "Mom... Mom... Mom relax", Ragini holds Sujata who was hyperventilating. She shakes her head smiling holding her hands who looks at her, "Do you want me to stay home tommorow?", Ragini asked and Sujata nodded innocently. "Okay! I'll stay", Ragini says while, Sujata looks at her, " Really? Chori, You will stay for the pooja?", Sujata asked and Ragini nodded. Sujata hugged her, "Tu bht achi hai", Sujata says hugging her, "Apse Thora Kam", Ragini says as they breaks the hug and laughed.

"You wait here, I'll just come", Sujata says as she gets up from the stairs and went towards the kitchen. Ragini smiled getting up, when Sujata walks holding a bowl and signs Ragini, "Come sit here", Sujata utters as she sits on sofa and signs Ragini to sit on floor infront of her. "What happened mom?', ragini asked confused as sujata makes her sits Infront of her. "I am seeing you. You are not taking care of you properly these days", Sujata utters as she unclips her hairs and starts massaging her hairs. "Mom I-", Ragini holds her hand and was about to get up when, Sujata forcefully makes sit straight. "Don't chori. Sit quietly. I'll slap you on your head, If you move again", Sujata chides and Ragini helplessly sighs.

"Let me oil your hair instead', Ragini utters. "Why? Can't a mother oil her daughter's hair?", Sujata utters and Ragini couldn't help but remembers Sharmishta and automatically her lips crawled up in a peaceful smile. She holds sujata hands and turned her face to her with slightly moisty eyes, "Thank you", She utters making sujata smile a little. She hits ragini head slightly, "Shhhhh", Sujata says while, ragini smiles sitting straight and closed her eyes as she felt all of her tiredness going away.

"What's in tommorow pooja, Mom?", Ragini asked as Sujata keeps massaging her hairs with oil, "It's a special pooja of our family, Ragini. We have specific date for this pooja and our house daughter-in-laws do this pooja. After, pari bahu I want you to do it. It's really special for me" Sujata utters. "First, you have to do arrangements for home and than at evening we'll go to temple for rest rituals. It's necessary for you and Sanskar both to take part in it for your happiness", Sujata explains and Ragini hears it carefully about all. They keeps talking unware of two pairs of eyes watching them. 

Ragini drops sujata at her room and walks towards her. She opened the room and found sanskar sleeping on couch. She shook her head seeing him and walks towards him and bends looking at his face who was looking no less than a cute child. She smiled as she pushed his little hairs behind from his forehead, "Caught you!", She jerked back and was about to fall backwards when, he instantly pulls her hand and makes her sit on his lap.

Her eyes went at the sudden speed and her heart hyperventilates at the proximity, "Sanskar?", She utters in shock trying to get her act back. "Do you really think I'll sleep without you here?", He asked raising his one eyebrow while, her heartbeat fastly on her chest and she instantly shook her head getting up from him. "I thought you were sleeping", she utters ignoring the heat emitting from her cheeks.

"Ahaan! That's why you were ogling me?", He utters smirking while, her eyes went wide. "Shut up, Sanskar!", She utters instantly and turns her face other side while, he laughs as he stands and put his arm around her neck, "So, how's Saas-Bahu time?", He asked raising his eyebrows twice while, she smacks his arm moving away from him. "Better without an unwanted creature", She mimicked sujata words and stuck her tongue at him while, he scoffs hearing her. "Good Night!", She utters as she goes taking her clothes inside the washroom while, he twisted his lips and lay down on bed making the cushion bridge between them.

She comes out of washroom and found him already sleeping, she smiled a little before walking towards other side and laying down, turning off the lamp. "Good Night, Mrs. Maheshwari", She smiled hearing his sleepy voice. "Good Night!", She replied back closing her eyes.

"Sanskar! Sanskar!", Ragini shakes sanskar who was busy in snooring in his deep slumber. "2 more minutes, please", he murmured pulling the quilt over his face. "You know what I give up. I am handing you to upper department, Mr. Maheshwari. Mooooooooooooom", Ragini shrieked and in the next moment sanskar was all sitting on his bed with half open eyes. "I am awake. I am awake", he says in defensive tone while, ragini couldn't help but, muffled her laugh. "Good Morning, Mr. Husband", She pulls his cheeks and walks out of the room while, he huffs scratching his forehead still drowsy, "Why did I even fear my mom? She is not Anabelle , Sanskar", He mumbles to himself and forced himself to stand to get up and freshen up.

Ragini walks down cladding in a golden and maroon full sleeves saree, her gaze fell over Sujata and annupurna who was sitting on a lounge preparing for the special pooja. She smiled and took their blessings when, Dp and Rp comes and she took their blessings too.
"Ragini Chori, come I'll tell you what to do", Sujata says and Ragini nodded as she started helping her. Adarsh and Parineeta also walks down and sits on sofa. "I'll prepare breakfast for everyone", Ragini utters standing. "Wait, chori first we need to do aarthi", Sujata says stopping and she stopped nodding. "Where is swara and Laksh?", Annupurna asked staring at the stairs.

Sanskar, walks out of the room and closed the door when, Swara and Laksh also walks out of their room at the same moment. Sanskar looks at them and choose to ignore while walking forward while, swalak shared a glance and follows. Sanskar descends the stairs and greets everyone. Swalak also did same. "Why did you woke up late, choray? ", Sujata asked as he stands besides ragini. "I had a very good sleep, Mom. Long and Refreshing", Sanskar utters stretching his arms eyeing swalak and winks at Ragini, who shakes her head smiling. SwaLak looks on pissed hearing him. "After destroying our sleep, they slept peacefully", they thought.

"Aren't we going to office today?", Sanskar asked looking at Adarsh who nodded. "No one is going anywhere choray, today is special for you and ragini. Ragini Chori, pandit ji is on his way for small pooja. Make sure everything is prepared", Sujata utters and Ragini nodded blinking. Swara looks on and looks at Laksh. "Aren't we going to do breakfast?", Sanskar asked. "Na choray! We will eat after pooja", Sujata utters and Sanskar sighs shaking his head. Soon, the pandit arrived and they did the small pooja at home. Annupurna asked Swara and Sujata asked Ragini to sit on the pooja respectively. "You have to keep fast for two hours and after that only you can break the fast with this Prasad", the pandit told and they obliged.

"Two hours? Who keeps fast for two hours?", Sanskar utters as Sujata keeps Prasad at his palm. "I did", Sujata glared at him and he nodded. "That was old era mom and now-", he instantly stopped seeing Sujata stern gaze. "Swara beta, you also have to keep this fast", Annupurna says and Swara nodded her head. Soon, They started preparing for breakfast. Swara was continuously eyeing ragini, while ragini acts like she is alone in the kitchen.

"Ragini!", Swara shut her eyes hearing sanskar voice who just walks in the kitchen. "Oh! Your student is here too", Sanskar utters eyeing swara who clenched her jaw at his words. Ragini eyes sanskar and mouthed NO with her mouth while, he shrugged as he stands next to her. "I am hungry", He told as he eyes the puri's being fry on oil. "Really? Do you get hungry too?", Ragini asked being surprised while, he just looks at her blankly. "Are you by any chance pissed off at the fast?", He asked making her eyes widen. "No ways! Why would you even think like that?", She utters. "Because, I can eat this food and you only get to eat the Prasad and that too after two hours", He utters and she shook her head.

"I am doing this all for Mom. So, I am more than happy doing it. Understood? Now, go before I call Mom that you are disturbing me", Ragini utters. Swara sighs irritated at their conversation and just left the kitchen making loud voice. "Husshhh! I was waiting for that only", Sanskar utters sighing. "Sanskar!", Ragini eyes him and he blinks, "OfCourse! Right! How can I left you alone with a person like her", He utters and she just shook her head, "You are forgetting that I am changed", She utters. "We'll! I don't know till how long you'll do this because I can't trust you with this one. I mean one crocodile tear from your half sister and there's a chance you'll get back to her and then she'll get a chance to hurt you. I mean-", he stopped seeing her stern glare. "It's burning", he clears his throat as he leans backwards smiling nervously. "You are a Meanie. Get out now", she says in a stern voice and he opened his mouth to say something but, she showed him the roller pin glaring and he surrendered taking a step back, "Its burning", He said in a loud voice grabbing her attention towards the stove.

"Ouw", she hissed as she hurriedly took out the burned one and again snapped her head glaring at him. "What did I do?", He utters. "Get. Out", she hissed and he sighs making a baby face and walks out while, she continues working with an angry pout.

Scene shift

"Why did you bring me here?", Laksh asked in a low voice as he looks around. "Take this", she gives him a bottle. " What is this?", He asked confused eyeing the transparent liquid inside the small plastic bottle. "Cyclosporine", she utters in a low voice while, he shrinks his eyes in confusion. "Go to temple and add this in Ragini's Prasad thaal", She says. "But, why?", Laksh asked earning a glare from her. "Why do you act like dumb headed sometimes?", She utters annoyed. "It was just a question", he utters making her frown. She sighs calming herself and pointed at the bottle, "it's intake will make her body weak and shaky which will stop her taking part of today's pooja at temple", swara utters with glint in her eyes. "But, how would it stop her? Even, if she's weak she'll definitely go there for Chachi", Laksh utters and Swara gives him a disbelief look.

"Do you really think that sanskar will let her go? Haven't you seen him now a days being all protective over her? He'll definitely stop her and for that he can fight his own mother too and that's exactly what we want, a rift between them. Haven't you seen Chachi ji is so excited for this pooja and it'll definitely break her heart that Ragini didn't parted in it. So, instead of behaving like a dumb person, why don't you go and do it as I told?", Swara utters and finished her sentence with a scowl. Laksh nodded sighing as he took the bottle, "it'll be same as you wish wifey", he utters smiling while, she rolls her eyes crossing her arms. Laksh Pat's her cheeks and left putting the bottle in his pocket while, swara smirks.

Scene shift

"Are you angry with me by any chance?", Sanskar asked as ragini and uttara sets the table for breakfast. Ragini eyes him and walks past him. He closed his eyes lowering his head and sighs. Swara, comes there and looks at them. Soon, everyone joined and Ragini went inside the kitchen followed by Sanskar, "I didn't mean to say, what I said", he utters and Ragini turned. "Do you really think that I will allow anyone to play with me?", She asked in a serious. He lowered his head feeling guilty at his words.

"I am sorry! I was worried after-", before he could complete she puts her finger on his lips making him instantly looks at her. "I know your concerns sanskar but, trust me. I won't follow the same path again and again nor, I'll come in anyone's words. Do you know why?", She asked and he just stared at her blankly. "Because, I know you are there to guide me. You won't let me fall in anyone's trap or anything. I trust you and I want you to trust me.", She utters and he instantly holds her shoulder. "I trust you and only you but, not anyone else. I am just afraid after what happened yesterday", he utters with a helpless sigh while, she just smiled.

"You are here, aren't you?", She utters with a smile while, he looks on confused. "Did you forget your headmaster's role so soon? Don't forget that there is a long way to teach your students a good lesson", She utters with a mischievous glint in her eyes which instantly lifted up his mood. "Ours student, Ragini. Ours", He utters and both laughed. "Shall we go? I am hungry", he utters and she suddenly realized why was she here. "Everyone's waiting for food", she slaps her forehead and instantly took the remaining food and moves out while, he just smiled.

Laksh kneels infront of the idol and joined his hands, he opened his one eye and glance at the thaal at left which was of Ragini. He looks around and sneakily took out the bottle from his pocket and add the liquid into the Prasad carefully looking around. He instantly keeps it back on his pocket and stands with a satisfactory smile on his face. He moves out from the temple and joined everyone in the dining area. He blinks looking at swara with a smile whose lips instantly crawls up into a sly smile as her gaze fell towards ragini who, was serving DP. She goes and serves laksh while, ragini goes and serves Sanskar, "Atleast,you can sit", Sanskar utters and Ragini nodded looking at Sujata who smiled at her.

"Are you sure you don't want to eat? There's still one hour left for your fast", Sanskar utters in a low voice. Ragini eyes him and shook her head, "You are behaving as if it's the first time I am keeping any fast. Don't forget, I am a traditional girl. I have kept many fasts and done many pooja's", Ragini replied him in a low tone and he nodded, "Than, I am the fruit of your every fast and prayer's", He utters with a proud smile and Ragini coughed hearing him. "Are you okay, chori?", Sujata instantly asked and Ragini nodded suppressing her laughter to irk sanskar who just eyed her at her reaction. "Um... Yeah... Yeah", Ragini utters and Sanskar twisted his lips and continued eating while, ragini smiled shaking her head at his antics.

Everyone done their breakfast, Parineeta and SwaRagini prepared for the evening prayer sitting on temple. Swara keeps eyeing ragini thaal and her, who was busy in preparing. Sanskar and uttara was talking with Adarsh and Laksh was sitting in a corner eyeing them with corner of his eyes. Sujata and Annupurna comes there, " Swara. Ragini. It's time for you to break your fast. Take your thaal and go to your room and keep the small idol there and after that break your fast", Annupurna told and they nodded standing covering their head. Swara goes and takes her thaal first and took ragini and forwarded her plate. Ragini, looks at her and took and both goes towards their respective rooms. Swara eyes ragini with a smirk as she went inside her room and went towards her.

Ragini keep the idol on table stand and moves around the thaal around him and closed her eyes chanting prayer's. She opened her eyes and turned only to get scared by Sanskar, who was standing just behind her back, "Sanskar!", She utters in disbelief. "Now, you can eat?", He asked and she nodded keeping her one hand over chest. "Okay!", Sanskar utters and took the Prasad from the thaal,"It's tasty", He utters and Ragini opened her mouth thinking he'll make her eat but, in the next moment he gulps the whole in his mouth making her eyes widen and mouth remained open. He closed his eyes as he munches it, "It's tasty", he utters and opened his eyes only to see her expression.

"Sanskar!", She utters in disbelief. "What? Aren't we husband and wife? Don't you heard those words saying husband and wife's are two bodies and one soul. So, my eat body eats and now, your soul should be satisfied", He utters gulping down the remaining one. Ragini gives him blank expression and crossed her arms over her chest, "Are you hungry?", He asked in a teasy tone. "No! Why would I? Am I human who'll get hungry?", Ragini replied twisting her lips. He laughed and shook his head as he took out a chocolate from his pocket, "You can break your fast with this. I promise, I won't tell mom", He pinched his throat as she instantly took the chocolate opening it.

"Even if you tell, I'll tell her it's your fault", She utters and was about to eat when, he took it from her hands and keeps it near her lips. "Not that I have done something bad. Did I? ", He asked and she sighs as she eats it with his hands staring at him."We'll see that later", She utters as she walks forward while, he smiled following her. Swara, who just saw him making her eat smiled satisfied and hides back in her room.

"Ragini Chori, you should eat something after that we'll leave for temple", Sujata utters patting ragini head who smiled nodding. Swara also walks down and smiled seeing laksh who blinks at her. "You should eat something too, Swara", Annupurna says and Swara nodded. Ragini, glanced at swara and walks towards dining area only to find sanskar walking out from the kitchen with a tray. Her lips instantly crawls up seeing him. He looks up and found her standing and smiled pulling a chair. Swara, who looks at them turned to look for laksh who was busy talking with Adarsh. She twisted her lips as she went inside kitchen while, ragini sits and Sanskar sits besides her.

"Now, you should eat something. Do you know the pooja is three hours long and there are many stairs too. So, you need energy", He utters and Ragini nodded listening to him as she begins eating while, he keeps chanting. Swara, also comes with her food and sits opposite to them. Ragini and Sanskar eyed her for once and then continued. "Do you know ragini, I am thinking to open a school on my name. Where I will be the headmaster and rest will be my students whom I'll train how to make full proof plans using your full brain", Sanskar utters and plays with his fingers on the table. Swara eyed him angrily, "I'll see your training after your wife will fall infront of your eyes", She thinks in her head and smirks making Ragsan feels odd for a moment.

While, eating the food got stucked at Ragini's throat and she started coughing. Sanskar was about to grab the glass infront of them when, swara took it and gulps it. He eyed her angrily and instantly gets up and suddenly felt weak but, he ignores it and runs to bring the water. Ragini eyes turned teary and she turned to find sanskar coming with a glass of water. Sanskar, who was coming towards her suddenly felt his body loosening and his head drowsy. As, he was about to forward the glass , he looses it grip around making the glass scattering around creating a loud sound. Ragini, instantly stands and was about to move forward when, sanskar fell unconscious right on the moment making the glass piercing his hands and blood oozing out from him.

"Sanskar!", She shrieked his name making everyone rushed towards them and got shocked seeing sanskar laying unconscious. Swara eyes widen, she and Laksh shared a glance while, ragini pats sanskar cheeks worriedly, "Sanskar! Sanskar! Are you okay? Please! Open your eyes" She utters cupping her cheeks and hold his hand only to find glass peirced through his skin. "Bhai", she looks up to find Adarsh as tears flows from her eyes. Rp and Adarsh instantly helped her to pick up Sanskar. "Laksh!", Dp eyes Laksh angrily who, instantly nodded seeing his stern gaze and rushed to help Sanskar.

"What happened to him? He was alright sometimes ago", Sujata utters worriedly. "Adarsh! Call the doctor", Dp utters as they makes him lay down on sofa while, ragini sits on floor holding his hand. "How can he suddenly faint? He was Alright? Look, he hurted himself", Ragini utters as tears Continuously flowed from her eyes seeing his pale face. "Uttara! Go and bring the first aid", Ragini told as she took out the glass pieces that pierced his skin. "Jiji, look what happened. Today, is special pooja and this", Sujata utters as she stands near sanskar with moisty. "He is fine, sujata. Nothing happened", Rp said.

Laksh walks towards swara who,was standing in a corner perplexed. "What's happening?", He asked her in a low voice while, she shook her head. "I don't know. It should be Ragini not him", Swara utters as she looks at them. "Did he eated it instead?", He asked and she looks at him, "I.dont.know", She grits her teeth and he looks away annoyed.

Ragini cleans his wounds and put bandage around it. Her heart pained looking at him like this and her mind stopped any other thoughts coming inside her head except for sanskar and her health. Doctor comes and analysis sanskar while, ragini stands right behind the sofa holding his other hand worriedly.

"Is he alright? Why did he faint? He was fine before? Is he hurt? Did something happened?", Ragini Continuously asked looking at the doctor who, stopped at look at her. Annupurna eyed parineeta who, nodded and goes to stand beside her. "Ragini! Devar Ji is fine. Let doctor examine him", Parineeta utters and Ragini nodded impatiently still holding his hands with teary eyes.

The doctor keeps his stencils back at his suitcase and looks at Ragini, who was ready to speak, "He is fine, Mrs. Maheshwari", He utters making her heart relax a bit. "But, why did he faint just like that?", Ragini asked making SwaLak holds each other hands worriedly. Their faces turned pale and they looks on worriedly. "He is weak, Mrs. Maheshwari. Maybe, he ate something that doesn't suited his body that's why it happened. Don't worry, he will be perfectly fine and in an hour and two like before", The doctor explained and gives sanskar injection. Everyone sighs in relief hearing doctor and SwaLak regained their senses.

Adarsh dropped the doctor and comes back while, Sujata sits besides Sanskar stroking his hairs. "Let's cancel today pooja. We'll go some other day", Durga Prasad said making SwaLak head instantly shot up. Their plan can't backfires. "No!", They looks towards ragini, who spoke. "Please, don't cancel it. It's your family tradition and you always do it on today's date. You can't change it", Ragini utters. "But, chori", Sujata was about to speak when, ragini comes and sits infront of her. "Please, Mom. I know, you can't leave sanskar alone and so, can  I. I know you wanted me to take part in it and was happy but, I can't leave him alone nor do I want you to cancel it", she holds Sujata hands who looks on. "This pooja was not only for me but, for them too", She utters eyeing SwaLak. "Atleast, let them complete. I promise, I'll do it again with sanskar and you. But, you all should go", She utters and looks towards Durga Prasad and Rp, who nodded.

"But, he'll be fine in sometime than we can go", uttara utters. "He needs rest still. I'll be here with him but, you all should go. Don't worry, okay?", She utters looking at Sujata who nodded disheartened. "See, it didn't backfired fully", Laksh whispers to swara who smirked. "We need to use this to stuff some words inside Chachi ji's head", Swara whispers back and he nodded.  "Shall we shift him to room?", Adarsh asked and Ragini nodded. "It's okay, he'll be up in sometimes. Let him rest here only", She told and he nodded.

Ragini, walks towards Sujata who was ascending the stairs, "Mom!", Sujata turned and looks at Ragini. "Don't worry.okay?", She utters and Sujata nodded. Ragini smiled a little blinking. Swara and Laksh passed by her and she eyes them. Everyone's leave for pooja and Ragini turns and eyes sanskar. She ascends the stairs and walks to her room. She took a blanket and pillow and was about to move when, she remembers something. She walks towards the dresser and opens the drawer only to find the thread he tied it around her neck first instead of mangalsutra. She pick it up and eyed it teary eyed. Seeing him unconscious actually made her scared and she tied it around her wrist, "I need you, Sanskar. Please, be always with me", She mumbles as she looks at the thread around her wrist and than at her neck and than her hairline making her feel like she is completely his. She wipes her tears and took the pillow and blanket and walks out.

She put the pillow behind his head and covered him with blanket, she goes towards the dining and find the glass pieces still there with some blood drops of sanskar. Her heart pained as she bent and pick it up, the scene replayed in her mind like a tape like, how she couldn't hold him and let him fall. Thank God, the glass didn't pierced his face or head otherwise the situation would be different. She cleans the floor and gets up when, her gaze fell on the food plates on table. She goes in kitchen and comes back picking up the two trays and was about to move when, something strikes her head. "Swara's smile". Why did she smiled when sanskar taunted? Why didn't she felt angry? He felt weak because he has eaten something that doesn't suits him but, he hasn't eaten anything except for the breakfast and Prasad. And, that's where it strikes her head and she clenched her jaw and her eyes turned red with anger. Why didn't she think about it earlier? Who else can think of hurting her except for her own sister? She goes in kitchen and keeps the food tray and walks out from there angrily.

Everyone's reached Temple and was ascending stairs. SwaLak was ahead of Sujata and Sujata was in last worried. Swara turned and looks at Sujata, who was behind them and rest were ahead. She nudged laksh and eyed him. He nodded holding Swara from her shoulder, "Don't you think that deliberately didn't come to the pooja, Swara", Laksh said in a enough voice for Sujata to hear. "Yes! I also think same, Laksh. I mean it's good that sanskar health was important for her but, when bade papa said we should cancel she would have agreed instead of letting us go. I feel bad for Chachi ji, there her son is ill and ragini didn't even let her stay with them as if she is the only one cared for sanskar and no one else", Swara utters and turned to look at sujata who, stopped hearing there words and felt uneasy.

They smirked as they continued, "I didn't know that pooja was more important than sanskar's health and you know I even see that Ragini didn't break her fast with Prasad that means she wasn't interested in doing this pooja either that's why she uses Sanskar illness as a reason to get away from it", Swara utters and nudged laksh who turned and found Sujata Expression changes. He blinks looking at swara, "I didn't expected this from Ragini that she'll not follow our traditions", Laksh utters in a disappointed tone. "Aray, Chachi Ji. Aren't you coming? ", Laksh asked turning towards Sujata who stood there. Sujata looks at them and nodded walking. They smiled winningly and walks.

Ragini, was sitting on a sofa staring at a particular place with fiercy gaze, her both hand entwined with each other. "Why do I feel that I need to call a fire brigade?", Her head instantly snapped at her side and found sanskar sitting on a sofa keeping his hand beneath his chin and eyeing her. "Sanskar!", Relief flashed over her face and she instantly gets up and went towards him, "Are you okay? Are you hurt? Did you feel dizziness and weakness? You are ok, right?", She asked worriedly holding her shoulder while, he just stared at her. "What do you think?", He asked raising her eyebrow making her eyebrows shrunk. "How do I look?", He asked as he holds her hand with his bandaged hands."You made me sacred", she mumbles as she sits besides him helplessly. 

"Did I?", He asked and she nodded with num  eyed. "That's why,you are angry on me?", He asked making her remember the deed done by her half sister. "No!", She instantly stands removing her hand making him startled. "Are you okay?", He asked her blinking his eyes. Ragini inhaled a sharp breath and nodded. "Get up!", She told and forwarded her hand. "Why?", He asked. "Go to room and rest for a while", She utters. "But, why?", He asked innocently blinking. "Because, I told so", she snapped in a stern voice. She is angry and she can't show it nor, she can tell him otherwise, he'll be double angry.

"Why do you think that you are angry?", He utters as he holds her hand and makes her sits besides him. Ragini looks at him and puts on a act, "Umm- because I am", she told as she turned her head otherside. "But, why?", He asked confused. "Because-Because- Oh, Yes! Because, I couldn't attend the pooja", She says. "And, how come it's my fault?", He asked as she removed her hand from his and crossed it over her chest. "Because, you fainted", She utters. "Did I fainted?", He utters earning a glare from her. "No, you were just trying to sleep on a bed of broken glass", She utters in a serious tone. "Oh!", He utters pissing her off.

"Are you coming to your room or not?", She asked sternly. "I am fine, Ragini", Sanskar utters casually and she sighs. "Okay! Stay here. I am going and don't you dare to come near me. You don't want to rest, right? Ok! Good for you. Why would I care for you when you don't want to?", She utters and walks away making him bewildered. "Why is she behaving like every other pissed off wife's?", Sanskar utters to himself and shook his head. "Idiot! She is your wife that's why", he smacks his head and gets up instantly, "No! No! Wait. Ragini! Ok! Wait!", He goes after her while, she just ignored him as she walks towards kitchen.

Akhiyan meri poochh rahi hain

"Ragini! Ragini! Ragini!", She took out water bottle from kitchen and pours it when, sanskar took it and gulps it. Ragini ignores him and walks past him, "Aray! I am going to rest. Atleast, talk to me", He utters and she didn't turned and walks out of kitchen and he sighs following her. "Will you make me follow you all around? Don't you know, I fainted?", He utters and she stopped in her tracks. She turned and he gives her a toothy smile. She looks at him suspiciously, "Someone just told he is fine", She utters and again turned her head and starts walking. She goes and sits on sofa taking magazine. Sanskar goes and sits besides her, "Ragini! Ra....gi..... ni", he sings her name and she ignores him.

Kaise tujhko main bataun
Raahein teri takkti jaaun
Neendan churaiyan ve
Tu mewriyan neendan churaiyan ve

"Will you seriously not talk to me? I mean it's you and me and will you really ignore me just because I don't want to rest? Will you do this to your only best friend slash husband?", He utters and she sighs as she closed the magazine and turned her face to him. He smiled when, she gets up and walks away.

Mujhko kya duniya se lena

His mouth slightly opened and he gets up to follow her but, because of the blanket which was laying half on floor. He tripped and fell backwards with his weight over his hands and winced in pain, "Ouch!", He hissed as he felt a sudden pain on both of his hands. Ragini instantly stopped and rushed towards him, "Are you okay? Is it paining? Couldn't you be more careful?", She chided taking his both on her hands and blows air on it.

He smiled seeing her concern and his pained vanished, their first meeting flashed infront of him and he remembers his 'Dupatte wali dost'. "This is what happens when you don't listen to other's. Can't you see that you are hurt and weak?", She utters twisting her lips. His smile grew wider as he stared at her, "Dupatte Wali Dost", He utters making her heart skip a beat, she looks up and lock her gaze with his still holding his hands. A small smile appears on her lips as she shook her head breaking their eyelock and he felt an unknown happiness seeing her smile.

Tujhmein raat meri
Tujhmein din mere
Lamha ik jiyun na
Main to bin tere

"Sit here. I'll bring juice for you", She utters standing up and walks but, stopped as she felt the end of her saree being stucked. She turned and found sanskar wrapping it around his bandaid hand. "You aren't wearing dupatta. So, how about Saree wali Biwi?", He utters raising his eyebrows. She laughed hearing him as she holds her pallu, "Well, I'll remain your Dupatte Wali Dost forever but, Saree wali biwi is not so bad either", She utters making him smile brightly, "Really? Saree Wali Biwi", he pulls her a little closer making her eyes wide a little. "Shut up!", She hits his head lightly and tries to release it but, he didn't leave, "Sanskar!", She eyed him.

Hai tere sath safar
Jaana mujhe hai kidhar
Ke beet jaaye tujhmein yеh umar

"I'll come with you", he utters in a childish voice. She sighs shaking her head and smiled, "Okay, Suit wale Pati", She told and both laughed. "Nice name Saree wali Biwi", He said as he gets up and followed her wrapping the end of pallu around his hand. The old Ragini and Sanskar flashed as they moved inside the kitchen and Ragini starts preparing juice while, he just stared at her with a smile.

Ik pal ki bhi ab to
Doori na mujhko dena

Mujhko kya duniya se lеna

Ragini starts moving to other side but, sanskar pulls her backwards. She turns and eyed him and he acts like staring at cabinets. She sighs as she hold the pallu and brings him a little closer and gives him a stretchy smile and turned again. Sanskar sits on slab and ragini turns and brings him down moving her finger and head in NO.

Hissa hai hai tu ab to mere
Dil ke jazbaton ka
Tu lafz hai thehra hua
Bas meri baaton ka

He pouted and acts like fainting when, ragini hits his shoulder glaring at him and he holds his both ears uttering a quick 'sorry' she nodded her head heavily and ruffles his hairs and than laughs. She moves to other side and turned to look at Sanskar, who nodded and get down in a sudden speed pulling ragini towards himself that she fall all over him and his head at the cabinet backwards. "Ouw", he utters while, ragini bites her tongue and rubs his head with her palm and holding his shoulder.

He was holding her from waist and his eyes stucked at her face so close to him. Ragini, who suddenly felt his intense gaze on her felt her heartbeat rising. Her hands stopped as her eyes caught his and their gazes locked and their heart beats together in the proximity. A small smile appears on their lips and they laughed joining their forehead while locking their gazes, his hand still wrapping the end of her saree.

The screen freezes on them.

Precap- Ragini's move

Looks whose back after a month.... Yayy it's mee ... Meee.... Meee.., sorry, was on a sudden break for some personal reasons😅😋 well, I wanted to give something dhamakedar that's why took a little more time. This one is dedicated to uttara😋 and sorry for making you and rest all of you wait. I hope, this one was enough to compensate for the long wait. The next one is going to be dhamakedar too.... Any idea what will ragini do? And, what about swalak plan?? Drop down your guesses.... and, also thank you for all the love and support you have given me.... 😘😘😘😘And, for waiting for this one.
