||52|| The Blockbuster Idea
LAKSH'S POV
"I am in no mood for another prank and it is only seven in the morning. If you all organized 'Let's Prank Laksh Day' then I kindly request you to stop this nuisance right here," I scowled at the three faces glaring at me.
"You sound like a commentator from the seventeenth century,"Ragini mumbled from the back.
"This is not a joke, Nita is actually spamming Swara with these messages," Sanskaar kept blabbering. What should I do if she is spamming her?
"She has really gone overboard this time," I frowned as I scrolled through the messages. She is my eternal devotee but I didn't think she was this serious.
"This time? What do you mean this time?" Swara snapped hotly.
"She did manage to scare all my other girlfriends off," I told her matter of factly.
"And you tell me this now?" Ragini smacked from behind.
"Is this the good time to tell you that she is coming over in the next two hours?" I hesitantly asked.
"WHAT?" was the amazing answer to my question.
"I thought so," I sheepishly said.
"She is coming home? Why?" Ragini wondered from behind.
"To stop this imaginary marriage," I gestured to Swara and me.
"I think we need to clarify that she is not marrying you in the first place," Sanskaar stepped in, pulling Swara to his side.
"Would that mean she is going to spam Ragini after this?" Swara raised up a very interesting issue.
"Freaking insane women. Can't I just go have a fight with her or something?" Ragini declared, having enough of all this.
"She is the daugher of the CM," I interrupted her murderous ideas.
"And I think we had enough incidents with police for a lifetime," Swara reminded her with a shudder.
"Then what are we going to do?" I asked the million dollar question.
"Tell her about your feelings towards Ragini,"Swara brushed off my concern and relaxed in the couch.
"You think it is that easy? Just wait until you meet her, it will be a treat to watch." I winked at her with uneasiness flowing through my body.
I know I am all dashing and all but that girl took love to a whole different level.

SWARA'S POV
"She is here, everyone in your positions," Laksh scurried off with a fake smile on his face.
"We don't even have a damn plan, what positions do you want me to stand in? Soccer ones or Crickets ones?" I meekly asked him with an innocent expression. So much for a plan.
"You ruined the effect," he chided childishly.
"There wasn't one in the first place," I stated the obvious, crossing my hands over my chest.
He narrowed his gaze at me and continued to open your mouth when I heard a loud screech, "Laksh!"
"Hey Nita, how are you?" he gave her a hug, blocking her from my view.
"I was busy but now I am all yours," I heard a confident voice reply with a hint of mocking shocking me. I was expecting a screechy, high pitched, clingy girl before me but instead I saw a confident fashion designer. My sister has more competition than I thought.
"That's....great?" Laksh answered, his fake smile faltering a little by her words.
"Hi Sanskaar," she strides over to Sanskaar and gives him a hug, completely ignoring me, who was standing her right next to Laksh.
"Hey Nita! Such an unexpected visit as always," Sanskaar jovially said with a big, real, smile plastered to his face. I scowled as she continued to talk to Laksh, ignoring me once again.
"Well, you know I love to give Laksh surprises so this is one of my many ones," Nita replied back, her hair bouncing on her shoulders.
"How long are you going to stay this time?" Laksh hastily asked but she didn't seem to mind.
"I was thinking two-"
"Hours? Let's get on with our catch up quick then," Laksh burst out with excitement, dragging her to the nearest room.
She shook her head and attempted to finish her sentence but the idiot didn't let her,"Oh no, I meant two-"
"Days? Then let the guard take your luggage to the guest room."
"No idiots. I am staying here for two months!"
I burst out laughing as various emotions flowed through Laksh's face from fake excitement to torture. My little stunt got me noticed by her highness who ever so slightly asked, "Who is she?"
"She is Swara, my fiancee," Sanskaar beamed, wrapping a hand around my waist while I gave her a tight smile.
"Oh. Oh. I am Nita, nice to meet you," she recovered with a huge smile of relief taking over her face. I think she finally realized that I am Sanskaar's fiancee and not Laksh's.
"Likewise," I mumbled back, eyeing her suspiciously.
"And she?" she asked as Ragini entered the room.
Both the boys looked conflicted as to what to answer her and instead glared at each other to answer the question. Ragini typed away on her phone, completely oblivious to the situation while I answered on everyone's behalf, "She is my sister, Ragini."
That caught Ragini's attention and she looked up as Nita greeted her,"I am Nita."
"So I have heard," she retorted back with a frown on her face.
"Anyways, let me lead you to your room,"Sanskaar interfered while Laksh trailed behind them.
"She doesn't seem that bad, I think we can take her on," Ragini said the minute she leaves the room. I shrug at her while she goes back to her typing. This shouldn't be that hard at all.

RAGINI'S POV
"Instead, I think we should have a summer themed wedding,"Nita brought up another idea for Sanskaar and Swara's wedding. She was actually a really smart and cool but the idea that she was after my boyfriend didn't set well with me. Don't get me wrong, I am not jealous nor am I territorial. I am just shocked by how jealous and territorial she was over Laksh.
"Nita, it is a great idea but we are currently in October and heading towards the winter so that might not work," Sanskaar cut in, while I sagged back against the couch while my phone vibrated.
"Well, then you guys will have to wait until June for the wedding," she blurted as if it was no big deal.
I opened the new message to see Laksh bombarding my phone with his cheesy pickup lines. Did he have anything else to do than just irritate me with these stupid messages?
"Their wedding will happen in January and the date is also fixed," Laksh interrupted her for the millionth time while I typed him an angry message.
"Really? When is it?" Nita asked back.
"We are planning on revealing it to people when the time comes," Swara softly said while I rolled my eyes.
"But you can tell me, I am a part of this family."
"Nita, it is twelve, I think you better inform the cook about your lunch menu," Sanskaar muttered worried.
"Yeah, I don't think I can handle all the spices he will add," she groaned before hurrying off to the chef.
"I am leaving. I cannot handle her anymore," I stood up the minute she left, grabbing the keys from Swara and strided over with a wave behind my shoulder. I could see Swara try to comfort me but one glare at her and she understood that I needed some time alone.
"Ragini," I heard Laksh call out to me as I sat in my car.
"What?"
"Look, I don't know how you are feeling about all this but I am really sorry to put you through this. I kinda forgot that she existed up until now," he sheepishly stated with a cocky grin.
"I understand that now but I don't know till when I will be able to understand that. It took you a long time to convince me to agree to this and it will not take me that long to break this. Keep that in mind and act accordingly," I sighed as I leaned into his warmth.
"I know and I am sorry," he said into my hair, running his hands up and down my arm.
"Don't kill her," I pressed a finger to his chest causing him to chuckle at kiss my cheek.
"I will make no promises on that," he winked at me before cocooning me in his arms. I sighed once more, letting my mind drift off. Laksh, please don't take long.

SWARA'S POV
"What's next?" Laksh questioned, sitting down on the couch before me.
"How about we pack our bags and go live in the Arctic?"
"I meant what should we do next?"
"We could always murder her," Sanskaar suggested from beside.
"Or poison her food," Laksh retorted.
"Or let's just use the gun I had-"
"Why can't we just get both you and Ragini married and then she won't be able to do anything," I advised a preferable option.
"I think she will have something up her sleeves in that situation too."
"I can find out," Sanskaar volunteered, heading towards her room before we could figure out what we wanted to find out. Such a jerk!

SANSKAAR'S POV
"Nita, how are you enjoying your stay? Do you need anything?" I politely enquired, watching her unpack.
"I think I am good for now."
"What do you did to Swara was not acceptable."
" I know and I am sorry too. I did act irrationally but I did think she was marrying Laksh."
"Even if she was, you can't go around doing that."
"Yes I can. I am really in love with him."
"But he isn't."
"That's why I am here. This time before I leave, I am going to turn the tables around," a wicked hint in her voice was enough to tell me that she was indeed planning something big.
"What's this?" she shrieked while I was lost in my thoughts. I glanced her way to see Uttara shoving a box in her hand.
"Oh, you didn't know? Laksh snores, so you better keep these in case something brews between both of you," Uttara winked at her as she pushed a box of earplugs her way.
"He does what?" Nita asked, horrified at the new information she received.
"Rocky!" I heard Laksh yell from the top of his lungs.
"Rocky!" this time I heard Swara call out in a desperate voice.
"Who's that?" Nita asked me, mirroring my expression of confusion.
"I don't know-" I shrugged nonchalantly as something creeped onto my pant.
"Oh shit. What is that thing?" she squealed as I wiggled my leg to get something off. I couldn't really see what the 'thing' was but I did feel something spiny climb up my leg.
"Rocky. I finally found you and I see you met Nita." Laksh said exuberantly as he lifted the creature off my leg.
"Laksh, what is that?" I asked him incredulously as I realized what that was.
"It is a chameleon, my pet," he replied back with a wink while I attempted to show some patience.
"I think I need some air," Nita mumbled and dashed out of the room while I spotted Swara desperately trying to control her laughter.
"What the hell is all this? Why do you have a chameleon in the house?"
"To scare her away."
"Dude, she has a big plan so we better fasten our game."
"Big plan huh? I have a blockbuster one in mind," Swara replied with a smirk setting on her face as she scanned Nita's luggage.

RAGINI'S POV
"That makes no sense," I countered making Sanskaar huff in frustration. He was informing the plan they came up with after I left and by the looks of it, is it huge and absolutely stupid.
"Are you going to do it or not?"
"I will but it still-"
"Makes no sense. We get it. Now shut up and get ready."
I mumbled a good bye before grudgingly walking out of the house. They have absolutely no right to wake me up so early for a stupid plan. I mean, come on, I have plans too. Agreed all I am doing is watch Friends for the next few hours but I need my entertainment than going through all this shit.
"Destination?" the driver asked me once I hopped in the backseat of my dad's car.
"Take me where Swara went in the morning," I took the easy way out and gave him a smile.
I tuned out of the world till the car halted at a studio. I gasped as I watched my sister carry a clipboard and talk to a few people about some arrangement.
"You gotta to be kidding me. How am I even related to Swara?" I asked to noone in particular as my eyes travelled around the set. Everyone was rushing, listening to Swara's instructions or fussing about their make up. When Sanskaar told me the plan, I thought he was joking as there was no way they could have organized all that in half a day but guess I was wrong. Never underestimate Swara.
"Ragini, you finally came. Okay, did the boys tell you the plan?" Swara blabbered tensed when she walked over to me.
"I wouldn't be here if I didn't know what was going on," I sarcastically commented, rolling my eyes at the studio.
"Shove your sarcasm for a few hours because we have a game on the road!"
"How much ever good that line was, I am not excited for this stupid thing."
"Yes you are. Now go," she shoved me into a room where I smashed myself into a chest.
"Hey," a husky voice trailed in my ear which caused me to push Laksh's chest.
"Your charm is not going to make my day better."
"A guy can try," he shrugged, leaning against the wall of the backstage room.
"I don't even understand why I am fighting with a bunch of people for such a lame prize."
"Hey! A date with me is not a lame prize," he looked offended.
"I will literally have to go through this torture for you and in return all I get is a date with you which I can even get without having to go through all this."
Not understanding what I am talking about? Follow me for the next few minutes and everything will be clear because I clearly didn't understand what Sanskaar told me to tell you.
"We will get Nita out of our hairs if this works."
"I didn't know she was a gel."
Laksh chuckled at my sarcasm and placed a haste kiss on my forehead while I rolled my eyes.
"You know, I am honestly planning to lose right now."
"Ragini! You can't do that to me, I am not going on a date with these clingy girls," he pleaded, placing all his weight on my shoulders.
"That is exactly my point," I smirked back at him and before he could come up with a remark, Swara called me.
"Ragini! We are going on air."
"Coming," I mumbled back before wondering, this was being recorded?
"Ragini, don't. I am serious, don't lose." Laksh warned me and I pretended to consider his idea.
"You should have known better than waking me up at five," I shot over my shoulder.
"Ragini!" I heard him whine like a child before I walked onto the stage that was set up.
"Here is your mike, please take your seat," the spot boy gave me a mike which I placed on my denim jacket and walked to where he pointed. Before me I saw a sea of girls chattering, all of them decked as if they were getting married. I sighed as I looked at myself, I looked way underdressed compared to them but alas, I didn't have time to go change. I walked over to an empty chair in the front to watch the show. We were seated in another backstage room with a TV so that we know when to make an appearance.
"Why are you here?" I heard Nita's voice ask me as I took my seat.
"I am here to play cricket. Do you want to be on my team?" I shifted so that I am facing her before passing on my sarcasm.
"Do you like Laksh?" she eyed me with suspicion, warning me that if I say yes, she was going to kill me right there and then.
Guess what? I am his girlfriend too. "One girl cancelled out five minutes ago so I am her replacement."
Before she could interrogate me further, we heard a loud noise and the host of the show walked on the stage.
As she started talking, I noticed that she was British, her petite figure, her blonde hair and blue eyes gave it away.
"Ladies and Gentlemen! Welcome to our special edition of Matchmaker. After going vigorously through several different contestants, we finally found the knight, a damsel in distress who he could rescue! Please welcome Laksh Maheshwari on stage please."
On cue, Laksh walked in from the backstage door we were in before, a bright smile on his face as he shook hands of the host, "Hello,"
The entire room let out a dreamy sigh, excluding me and Nita, as Laksh smiled at the camera. Nita because she was too busy throwing death glares at every girl in the room, I on the other hand was remembering everything I could to embarrass Laksh on international TV.
"Laksh Maheshwari, one of India's most famous racer. Laksh, it has been almost six months since you took part in another race, what have you been upto?" she asked him as they both took their seat in the corner of the designed room.
"I managed to travel around the world in these six months and I am planning on returning back to racing in the next few months," he replied with a wink to the camera while a loud crowd before the designed set cheered in response.
"Your brother, Sanskaar Maheshwari, a very dear friends of mine, presented me his worry on Laksh's relationship status a couple of days ago. Sanskaar, who finally settled down with Swara Gadodia, fears that Laksh will never be able to share his life with the women on his dreams. Putting an end to his worry and bringing you entertainment one final time, I commence the final episode of MatchMaker, where compatibility rules."
That made sense how they arranged all this in only half a day but Sanskaar said that this was Swara's idea. From what I am seeing, I can't see how my sister is involved in this other than the fact that she is Sanskaar's fiancee.
There was some music played which I assumed was the title song of the show before she asked Laksh with a smirk,"So, Laksh, are you ready to see the fifty different girls we have chosen for you to find your future girlfriend from?"
"As ready as I can be," he confidently agreed.
"It's your turn to shine, ladies, good luck!" one of the crew came and opened the door to the stage for us, alerting us to proceed outside.
"Let the girls come on stage," the host announced and all the lights were placed on us, blinding us from seeing anything.
"Ragini, watch out," I heard Swara hiss at me as I walked onto the stage.
My heels tangled themselves in the creeping wires below and before I knew it, my leg slipped. I shut my eyes in anticipation of my great fall. Great, I was going to embarrass myself on International Television. Someone help me!
