Before we start, I must make a couple warnings.

For those who've read what I've written know that I do ship Charisk.

And so, there will be some of that in this book.

And for those who've read what uve written, know that I depict Frisk as a Male and Chara as a Female.

And now, for the final two warnings. Kris will be depicted as Male in this book.

And lastly, if you have not played Deltarune, there will be spoilers. As we are just going through the game in this book, but from a different perspective, and a new look on things.

(Ps. I dont depict Chara as a really horrible being at all. But for the sake of the book, I'll make her a sadist to keep it interesting :(

There was room that was dark, like an abyss or a black hole, without the suction. It happens every night, when I close my eyes. It happens. The Abyss comes, along with the voices.  The voices of a woman, and of a man. This happens every night.

This may sound like a nightmare to you, but it's a good dream for me. I always want to escape reality, and now, I have two friends who I can talk to in my dreams, and sometimes, when I wake up.

The man and the woman have hair like mine, but the woman has the same sweater, while the man has a different one. They seem to like each other,though, it may be because they are stuck together. I dont know their history, so I cannot confirm if they are a couple. But, they are very close

My name? My name is Kris. I was adopted into a family when my brother was ways older than me. When he left, so did my father. Now, it's me and my mother. Now, it's me and my loneliness.

Their names? Its Frisk, the Male, and Chara, the female. They claim to have been characters of the same game before. I do not understand what they speak of, so I brush over it every time. They're fun to talk too, I enjoy their company.

"Kris, how does it feel to live on the surface? Are you happy?" Frisk says, as he waits patiently for me to answer.

That's one thing I like about them. Everyone else doesn't give me to time to talk, so I'm labeled as quiet, when I'm really not. They're just too impatient to wait 10 seconds.

"I'm happy. It's all I've ever known" I say to him.

"Do you have any memory of the undergound?" Chara asked me, waiting again for my answer.

"They underground? I've heard of it." I say to her.

"What's where we lived, where we grew, where we thrived. It's unfortunate we had to die before we left." She told me

"What do you mean? The monsters left, why couldn't you?" I ask curoisly.

"The spell put on there claims that it a human were to fall, you'd only have a certain amount of time to get out before your soul is bound to it. I died at the beginning and Frisk died at the end. I have a feeling you're going to go there, I hope you dont die in the middle. Because that would be unfortunate. You'd be like the rest of the kids who died in between." She said, getting a look from Frisk.

"What..?" I say, as Frisk touches Chara's shoulders.

"Dont say that! Everyone didnt pass in vain, look! The monsters made it!" He said to her.

"But did we? I dont believe in dying for other people." She said to him.

"But you died for me, right?" He winked, only to get a pout from Chara.

"That was different!" She said, as a light started to shine in the empty room.

"Good morning, Kris. Hope to see you again tonight." Frisk said, before the dream ended only to hear my mother shout out that I'm going to be late.

I wanted to go back to sleep, but I didnt want to make her worry about me. I didnt want her to get the idea I was depressed. Well, I can't confirm I'm not, but I can't confirm I am.

I lean up to see the bed of my brother, Asriel. I'm happy he got into a good college, but I'm sad and I'm alone. I go downstairs to go to school, as she dropped me off. They're always quiet in the morning, or at least when I get home or I'm inside my house. They seem to go quiet.

Walking into class, Alphys asked me to find a partner. Everyone had one, I mean, why would anyone have me as a partner?

"Get that girl, she seems nice." Said Frisk (in my head), talking about my classmate. A dear girl. I asked her and she asked Alphys to make a group of three, when Susie slammed the door open.

She slammed it so hard, the whole class when quiet. "I hate that bïtch." Chara said in my head.

"Chara, be nice" Frisk told her. I became her partner, and Alphys' chalk had gone missing. I had to go with Susie to get more chalk. Shes a purple dinosaur , and witnessed her eating the chalk. She didnt look too happy about that.

"Oh, I didnt see you there." She said, as she walked over to me. She stared at me. "Hey, let me tell you a secret." She said to me as she slammed me against the lockers.

"I ate the chalk." She said, as she tells me what she thinks I'm thinking. I dont listen to her, as all I hear, are a bunch of insecurities from her. "Instead of getting expelled for some chalk, why not get expelled for some real carnage?" She said to me.

She smiled, her teeth as sharp as ever. "Why don I eat your face?" She said, her look frightening. I couldn't do anything, I'm not as strong as her, not as bold as her. Not as brave as her. I'm not....

But I know who is.

My arm grabs Susie's, which catches her off guard, since shes not used to me defending myself.

"What?" She said in confusion. I look up, and glare at her. My eyes turn from green to red. Why you may ask? Well.
