I turned around; still holding the crystal in my hand. I saw a fairy woman with a fox beside her. They walked over to me.

"Did you see that Jenna?" The fox said. "He freed the crystal."

I looked up to the fairy woman; who's name was Jenna as the fox had said.

"I'm..terribly sorry." I said.

"Please, don't apologize." Jenna said. "We've been waiting for you for a long time."

"Me?"

Jenna smiled.

"What's your name child?" She asked.

"Tyler." I said. "Tyler Joseph."

"Well Tyler, do you know what you have in your hand?"

I held out the crystal to Jenna.

"I..I wasn't going to keep it." I told her.

"The magic crystal belongs to you now." Jenna said.

"To him?" The fox said; unsure. "How is he gonna save us?"

"You must have me mixed up with somebody else."

"Many years ago, our best friend Brendon Urie used to live in the Enchanted Forest with us. When the time came for a successor, the fairy king picked me instead of him. Brendon was furious, he stormed away for many years. However, when he returned with his niece Debby, he started taking over the forest piece by piece. I tried to force him to leave, but his powers grew stronger than ever. Some of my brave fairies and elves tried to stop him. But he transformed them into animals and made them slaves. Each prisoner he takes makes him grow much more powerful."

"I don't understand." I said.

"It is told that the one who frees the magic crystal will defeat Brendon and save the forest." She said. "We never thought anyone would free the crystal from the tree until today."

The 5 other animals came beside the fairy woman.

"It's you! You! Our hero!" A skunk cried.

"Well, he doesn't look like much but, I think he could help us." The fox said.

I turned back to Jenna.

"Wait! Please, you have the wrong person. I can't be the one." I said. "I haven't overcome anything in my life. I wish I could help but-

The fox scoffed

"I knew it."

"We can't force him Dallon." Jenna said; revealing the fox's name. "It is dangerous."

"I'm sorry, I have to get back." I said; handing the crystal to Jenna. "My family will be looking for me."

"I understand Tyler. Dallon will show the way out."

I walked away.

"Goodbye, I'm sorry."

Dallon and I managed to get through some of the forest. Until suddenly, two people appeared right in front of us. A man and a teen girl.

"Well, there's the young boy my little birds were talking about." He said.

"You must be Brendon Urie." I said. "Do you really think you're gonna get what you want?"

"Oh!" He cried. "You are brave."

He turned to his niece.

"Debby my sweet niece, how would you like a fluffy pillow?"

The girl laughed.

"Of course Uncle Brendon."

I didn't understand what his plan was. I stood in shock as he lifted his magic ring and threw it's power into me.

I felt like I was being crushed. The pain was excruciating. But I was able to see what was happening to me. My hands turned into wings and my feet turned into flippers.
With the spell completed, I was no longer a human. I was a swan.

"Oh no." I cried.

Brendon laughed.

Dallon kicked him in the leg and ran away.

"Go!" He cried. "Go Tyler!"

I flew away as quickly as I could.
