Yelena's POV

I was running through the streets, I wanted to reach Nat's home as soon as possible; in the same time, the sky was all dark and it was probably going to rain soon.

I knocked at Nat's door and it didn't take much before she opened it.

I froze: she told me that she sprained her wrist while training but then why was all her face and body bruised?

-Nat what...- I started to say but she interrupted me.

-I told you to not come here- she said.

-Thank God I didn't listen to you! What happened?! And please don't say anything- I said.

-I...- She started to say but then gave up -I don't want to...- she was crying -I don't want to involve you in all of this-.

-Nat what do you mean? You are scaring me- I said.

She moved and let me enter: her living room was a mess, things were on the floor like if someone fought there.

-What happened here?- I asked and Nat closed the door.

-I am not the girl you think I am- she said sitting on the floor and I sat next to her -I... I am not a good person, Yelena-.

I took her hands in mine and kissed them, trying to make her understand that I was there.

-Who did this to you?- I asked.

-My boss... I... I am not a dancer- she said but seeing my confused face she continued -The dance is only a way to hide what I really do, that is... That is...-.

She was crying again, so I decided to hug her.

-Hey it's ok, take your time- I said.

-That is... Selling weapons and not legal things- she said crying on my shoulder -My boss gives me things and I have to sell them here to who pays more-.

-I... I don't know what to say...- I said.

-When I went to Russia it wasn't for meeting my family but him- she said -And yesterday I told him I don't want to work with him anymore and this morning... I thought that the incident during the training was casual but when I found him here in the afternoon...-.

-He did this to you so you understand that you can't leave, didn't he?- I said and she nodded -Come here-.

We hugged again and she cried even more.

-You can leave me, I understand if you do that- she said.

-I am not going to leave you, because I love you. And I am going to help you- I said.

-I love you too- she said and we kissed.
