"Zuko here." Zuko introduced himself just as you two had practiced, holding up his arm in greeting.

"Hi Zuko!" You smiled at him. Having sneaked back to camp, no one was actually the wiser to your shenanigans and love making.

Suddenly however, everyone else was in attack mode, surprising you. You widened your eyes at Zuko and nodded your head once to indicate that he should continue.

"Hey... I, uh, heard you guys flying around... down... there... so... I, uh, just thought I'd wait for you here..." He rubbed his hair nervously as Appa approached him. After a sniff and a growl, the air bison's gigantic tongue wiped across Zuko's body, causing you to crack up and Zuko to scowl at you. "I know... you must be surprised to see me here..."

"Uh! Not really! You've literally followed us around the entire world!" Sokka spoke up and you covered your laughing mouth. Highly inappropriate for the situation.

"Right. Well, umm ... anyway ... what I wanted to tell you about is that I've changed, and I, uh, I'm good now, and well I think I should join your group, oh, and I can teach fire bending to you." You smiled at him and looked at the rest of the group. They had literally just been talking about finding a fire bending teacher for Aang. And naturally you had pushed for finding a completely new one. "See, I, mmm..."

"You want to WHAT now?!" Toph was floored.

"You really cannot possibly think that a single one of us would trust you, do you? I mean, do you think we're THAT stupid?!" Katara burst.

"I trust ya..." You grumbled to yourself, earning a half-hearted smile from Zuko. "Kinda..." His frown disappeared.

"Yeah, seriously. All you've ever done to us is hunt us down and try to capture Aang!" Sokka continued to berate the poor prince.

"I've done some good things!" You saw a flash of desperation cross Zuko's face. Honestly, you hadn't expected the group to accept him easily. "I mean, I could have stolen your bison in Ba Sing Se, but I set him free. That's something!"

Appa licked him again as you laughed.

"Appa does seem to like him..." Aang noticed.

"I can actually verify that, 'case y'all wonderin'." You spoke up.

"Mhm. Well I don't think that your place as his ex-whatever makes us believe you. He probably just covered himself in honey or something so that Appa would lick him. I'm not buying it" Sokka crossed his arms.

"Rude." You huffed.

"I can understand why you wouldn't trust me, and I know I've made some mistakes in the past. But you should not be taking that out on YN. She's done nothing but help me be better. And help you as well!"

"Ignoring that for the moment... Would a mistake be when you attacked out village?" Sokka pressed on.

"Or when you stole my mother's necklace and used it to track us down and capture us?" Katara added.

"Or when you done let all the other girls and ya girlfriend call me swampy trash?" You couldn't help but gang up on him just a bit. Even after sex, you were still a bit mad. Or a lot mad.
