46: Monsters
A massive ring of water surrounded Katara as she swirled it first defensively and then aggressively as she flung it at Hama.
Hama however, now resisting your own bending but still hampered enough to not blood bend Katara, flung it right back.
On and on this went, and luckily you felt little wear on your body. You were sure that Katara could defeat Hama as a final blow swept her off her feet. But then of course, the boys had to arrive and ruin everything.
"We know what you've been doing, Hama!" Sokka called out.
"Give up! You're outnumbered!" Aang declared as he struck a defensive pose himself.
"No. You've outnumbered yourselves." And suddenly with Hama' voice, you were shoved out of her veins. Katara may have had the skill to resist slightly, but Sokka and Aang were helpless. They were controlled and then flung toward Katara, who skillfully dodged.
The battle raged on as Katara and Hama bent the water from the plants around you. It hurt your heart to see plants being destroyed for something this silly fight.
"Katara, watch out!" Sokka cried out as he flew towards Katara, swinging his sword. "It's like my brain has a mind of it's own! Stop it arm! Stop it!"
"This feels weird!" Aang yelled as he and Sokka were repelled and avoided by Katara.
"I gotta get this under control..." you mumbled as you focused yourself again. It was exponentially more difficult to remove her grip from two people than just one.
Trying to enter a meditative state, you watched as Katara froze Aang and then Sokka.
"I'm sorry Aang!" She yelled.
"It's okay!" He validated her, understanding why she had to do that.
"Don't hurt your friends, Katara... And don't let them hurt each other!" Hama forced the two boys to fly at each other, with Sokka's knife straight out.
"No!" You and Katara yelled as you froze every single person in place. Then, you released the boys.
You stepped out and forced Hama to the ground, giving Katara a peculiar look as she mimicked your moves.
As you held her to the ground, Katara released her pretend grip. You weren't sure whether or not to tell her that she wasn't actually blood bending. But at the same time, a group of people, led by Toph ran up. And you weren't keen on outing yourself as a blood bender in front of them.
"You're going to be locked up forever!" A villager yelled at Hama as he locked her hands behind her back.
"My work here is done. Good luck Katara, you're a blood bender." She laughed evilly as Katara began to cry. You stood next to the whole crew and waited for her to be taken away.
Hama now out of sight, Katara collapsed onto the ground in tears.
"I'm a monster..." She sobbed as the boys tried to comfort her. This made you frown angrily.
"You ain't even blood bend 'er. So quit bein' nasty." You spat out.
"YN!" Aang scolded you.
"Well it's true! Ya think I'm a monster, eh? Well I'll get out of your hair then." You stomped away.
"YN, stop. She didn't mean that." Sokka grabbed your shoulder. "We'd be dead without you. And I wanted to say thank you."
You sighed. Of course now would be the first time Sokka was nice to you specifically.
"Fine. Where to next?" You asked.
