Chapter 1.71:

My tongue had never felt so tired before.

The damn thing was throbbing right at the tip. I think I wore off most of my tastebuds yesterday. I lost track of how many times I buried my head between Riley's thighs, but it was enough for me to realize there was no proper workout to prepare your body for hours and hours of licking pussy.

Even the back of my neck had a crick in it and cracked multiple times when I shifted it from side to side.

Everything hurt this morning, even in places I had no idea even existed.

My whole body was depleted of everything. I needed some caffeine, food, and massive amounts of sleep to recover from the day Riley and I had together.

Riley was a little ball of unstoppable energy. The more I gave her, the more she wanted to keep going. She kept coming back again and again. I had never come so many times in one day. I wondered if the was a world record for orgasms because there was no doubt in my mind that Riley and I shattered it within the first few hours after we reunited.

We would have kept going and I would have probably ended up in the hospital on life support if Riley hadn't gotten sick on me overnight.

I woke up to the feeling of her climbing over top of me. I thought she was about to wake me up with another mind-blowing session, but she jumped to the floor and ran towards the hallway instead. My borrowed shirt billowed around her like a parachute as she sprinted down into the dark. I was up on my feet after her since I didn't know what was happening. At first, I thought she was playing some little newly invented sex game with me, like a dirty version of hide and seek.

It wasn't until I heard her in the bathroom making the most inhuman sounds possible that I realized something was wrong with her. I found her leaning over the toilet while she threw up everything inside her, which was mostly the remnants of the gallon of my cum she drank down. I figured that might be why her stomach was upset. She hadn't swallowed anything else but my dick since she got here.

When she finished, she wiped her mouth and gave me the most pitiful look she could muster. I felt terrible for her, but there was not much I could do to help other than be there if she needed me.

"What's going on?" I asked as I rubbed the sleep away from my face.

"I think I might have eaten something that made me sick or my stomach bug is back." She answered.

I furrowed my brows and pulled at my rings. What she said didn't sit right with me. Riley hadn't eaten anything since she got here. Her logic didn't make sense to me. She hadn't complained once about her stomach feeling off. For someone who was violently sick, she sure hadn't said anything or given me any indication something was amiss.

After about fifteen minutes of waiting in the bathroom without another incident, Riley cleaned herself up and laid back down with me. It didn't take long before she was up and back at it again. Every time she disappeared from my bed, I found her on the bathroom floor, barely able to hold herself up.

She had said she didn't want me to call anyone or get anything for her, but I was starting to get concerned after the last time when she could barely stand on her own. I carried most of her weight back for her as she limped back to my room.

I maneuvered her back into bed and stayed awake the rest of the night to watch her closely. If she wasn't feeling any better by tomorrow, I was going to make her get checked out by an actual doctor.

It was hard to watch her like this.

Riley tossed and turned all night, trying to get comfortable, but she could never seem to find a spot that soothed her. Even in my arms, she clutched her stomach and whimpered in pain.

During her last thrashing sleep fit, Riley decided to steal my pillow from under my head. She tucked it between her legs and let out a deep sigh in relief when she clamped her thighs down around it. Finally, she settled down and her breathing evened out.

She was asleep.

After watching her rest peacefully while my head was smashed into the hard headboard, I gave up getting any myself. I slid out of bed and walked like a zombie downstairs to look for a quick pick me up.

I opened the fridge to see if Mark had refilled his stash of energy drinks in the vegetable bin or if there were any leftovers worth eating.

Fuck, the fridge was still empty and it was too early to call to have something delivered.

I glanced around the kitchen and found a bag of some uppity coffee brand that JD kept in the house for Anna when she stayed over. I picked up the small bag of Anna's expensive crap and decided she wouldn't notice if I stole some. The flavor was some hazelnut vanilla blend. It sounded awful, but it would have to do right now. My only other choices in the house were alcohol and water. Neither of them were going to get me through the day until I could get out and hunt for breakfast.

I filled the coffeemaker with water and pressed the button that changed the brew strength. I needed the strongest version I could make. I stood in front of it, yawning repeatedly and threatening the damn machine with violence if it didn't hurry up.

I heard a small, agonized groan from the doorway and caught a glimpse of Riley's curls bouncing as she ran back towards the stairs. I listened to the same horrible noises coming from her that kept me up for half the night.

Fuck, I thought she was feeling better.

I beat myself up for leaving her alone in bed. I would have stayed with her if I knew she was still feeling this sick.

The coffee maker beeped and I poured the dark liquid into my cup. The coffee would have to come with me upstairs when I went to check on her again. I started towards the living room when Riley popped around the corner. Her skin was still a little pale, but she wasn't as clammy as last night. I was hoping this was the end of her ordeal.

"That's a pretty nasty bug," I commented and took a small sip of the steaming hot coffee. I couldn't taste it that well, but the warmth felt good on my sore tongue.

"Yeah, I don't know where I got it from. I feel a little better now. It must be like a 24-hour thing or something." She shrugged and lowered her eyes to the floor with embarrassment.

She had nothing to be embarrassed about. A little stomach virus wasn't going to scare me away. I was just glad she looked like she was a little stronger this morning.

I sat the coffee cup down on the table and went over to Riley to give her a proper morning greeting. I looped my arm around her waist and pulled her to me. I could tell she took a second to freshen up a little upstairs before coming down.

She smelled like a sweet bowl of citrus and mint toothpaste.

When our lips met, the fire immediately began smoldering at the bottom of my stomach. One sip of coffee was enough to give me enough energy to go again. Riley moaned as I walked her back towards the wall.

She was about to get her horny ass fucked against it.

Our tongues were battling as I pushed her back to lock her in place. I raised one of my hands to her breast and began massaging it. My large hand had problems getting all of it in my palm without it spilling out. I never had this much trouble with them. It was like they didn't fit the same way they did before.

I swear her breasts had gotten bigger since I first met her— maybe even since last night.

Riley grabbed my dick and began working it over my cotton shorts. I searched Riley's breast and found her nipple hardening under the shirt she borrowed from me. I pulled and rolled it gently between my fingers.

"Ouch." Riley made a pained face and jumped back from me.

"Did I do something wrong?" I asked in confusion. Riley always loved it when I yanked and bit her nipples until they were bright red and tender. I wasn't even as rough as I usually was with them.

"No, they are just sore this morning. Maybe from all the attention they got yesterday? "She smiled up at me and blushed. "Or I could be getting ready to start my..."

Riley's smile fell from her face and her mouth dropped open. She looked a million miles away. Her body was here with me, but she was mentally on another planet. I turned my head to the side and bent down to her level to try to grab her attention back.

It was like she glitched out for a few seconds.

"Riley," I called her name and she didn't respond.

"Riley?" She stared at my chest and blinked a few times without moving.

"Are you ok, Beautiful?" I ran my hand over her face and tried to get her to look at me. "What's wrong? Are you going to get sick again?"

Riley's face contorted and turned green. She pushed me back with a newfound strength and bolted to the kitchen sink. She retched in the sink again, letting loose only stomach acid. I cringed as I watched her. I wasn't that I was squeamish, but something about how the action affected her made me sick to my stomach too.

Or, it was because something really was different about her and I had been too wrapped up in her to try to figure it out properly.

She raised her eyes to look at me. She looked like she was in shock. Her head began shaking back and forth like she was arguing with herself.

"Are you ok?" I asked again.

She didn't respond to me at all.

"Riley, what is going on?" I raised my voice as my frustration and fear started seeping in. Something was definitely going on with her. I was a fucking idiot. I should have asked her last night when I first noticed the change. I was just so happy to have her back that I didn't want to ruin it with my big mouth and poor choice of words.

She continued shaking her head violently and was crying again. She was going to pass out if she didn't get ahold of herself. I placed both my hands on her face to stop the dizzying motion before she made me sick too.

"Riley, talk to me," I said softly as I forced her to stop and look at me.

She shook her head again at me. There was something she didn't want to tell me and it had her terrified. Did she wake up this morning and decide she didn't want to be together?

What the fuck was wrong with my girl?

"I can't. I can't do this. Not right now." She muttered under her breath.

"You aren't changing your mind about being with me, are you?" My voice went shrill as I tried to keep the urge to lash out at her.

"That's not it at all." Her eyes changed and softened as she tried to touch my face. I grabbed her wrists to stop her. Riley needed to tell me what was happening. She wasn't going to distract me away from the conversation.

"Tell me what's going on in that head of yours." I pleaded for answers.

"Ezra," Riley said my name and took a deep breath. She turned her eyes to the ground to avoid looking at me. I held my breath as I waited for the ax to fall.

She was leaving me. Deep down, I knew her coming back to me was too good to be true.

"I'm late." She whispered.
