Well, here we go!

Darkness... That's all you know or remember... Sweet, sweet, darkness...

You open your (E/C) eyes, blinking twice. This wasn't darkness... Well, it sort of was, but it wasn't completely black...

You get to your paws, shaking your (P/C) pelt. What was this place?
My name is (Y/N)... You think, that piece of memory fading back. This is LavaPride... Why?

What did you do wrong? What happened? You twitch your tail, deep in thought.

You didn't notice a dark brown tabby tom approach you, low to the ground.

He stood up straight. "Hello."

You nearly jump out of your fur. A real LavaPride cat!

His ice blue eyes narrow as he scans you. "You don't look evil. Or battle scarred." (Ignore that part if your OC has scars)

You take a step back and your (E/C) eyes widen. "Who are you? Why am I here?"

"You don't know?" he smirked, flicking his tail. "You killed your friend, (F/N), of course."

"I..." you pause.
I killed (F/N)? No! I don't believe it! I couldn't ever kill (F/N)!

You duck your head and soft tears fall from your eyes. Sadness stirs around in your heavy heart.

You suddenly feel a comforting pelt press against your own.

"Hey, not all of us mean to do the things that bring us here." Dragonclaw said softly. "Darktuft was tricked into plotting his Littermate's death."

You looked up, at Dragonclaw, your (E/C) eyes shimmering. "Really?" you whisper. "That's terrible.."

He nodded, at the same time nuzzling into your pelt, making you both blush.

Suddenly, a cat rocketed out of nowhere, barreling into you in a flurry of claws and teeth.

You squeal in pain and surprise and it pins you down, scratching and slicing your chest.

Dragonclaw rammed into the cat in top of you, stabbing it with his claws, causing it to tumble off in a heap, struggle to it's paws, and run.

You twisted to your paws, panting. "Who... What?"

"Some cats here fight and kill for fun." Dragonclaw licked a wound on your shoulder. "Most of us aren't innocent like you."

You nuzzled into his pelt, surprising both you and him. "But you'll protect me, right?"

He paused, accepting the move of affection. "Always." he purred. "Welcome to LavaPride."

A/N: WOOO WOOO CHEESINESS ALERT! CHEESINESS ALERT!!! Sorreh, I don't like writing love story things. Well this was my first X Reader, so how did u guys like it? Quite honestly, it was kinda fun writing this!
