Hi

The story is starts with a man sitting on the couch, listening to his parents words.

"Laksh her name is Ragini Gadodia, she is 22 years old and the daughter of Shekhar and Janki Gadodia. She is perfect for you." His father was telling him some information about her.

"Haan Laksh, she is currently studying in the music academy. She comes from a Malvari family like us. She is independent and traditional, kind hearted and very beautiful." His mother stood up from her place and gave him a picture.

Laksh took the pic and was happily surprised by his parents choice. Wow that is Ragini.

He was mesmerised by the picture and looked at her lost, just then his brother come, well his cousin brother, Sanskaar.

"Hi Laksh, what is going on, why are you all sitting here together. Did I missed something?" He asked and was looking at the round.

Laksh turns the picture, "that is my going to be wife Ragini Gadodia. We will meet her soon."

Sanskaar nods and looked at the pic, "yaar Lucky, why? You are a modern boy of this generation, don't you want to choose your wife by your own."

DP fumes, "enough Sanskaar. You have made a choice and that choice turns out to be a failure. Now don't make my son like you. He won't fall for a girl, who is not worth it and only behind his money. Ragini comes from a decent family and is a good partner for him." He left from there with AP.

Sanskaar shook his head, "fine I agree my choice wasn't the best, unfortunately Kavita turned out to be a money seeker, but that doesn't mean that every girl is like her." He looked at Laksh.

Laksh smiles, "Bhai it's alright. I like her I mean just look, isn't she pretty and a woman of today?" He again shows the pic and Sanskaar nods, "yeah and that might be a problem, what if she isn't the right one or you are not her choice?"

Laksh pouts, "that would be very bad." Sanskaar put his hand on Laksh shoulder. "Come on Lucky, who can say no to you."

"What No, I don't want to get married in this age. I'm just 22 years old and I haven't archived anything in my life yet. Maa you can't force me." She was shouting and frightening someone.

"Sshh Swara I'm sorry I don't wanted to shout that loud. Maa please I don't want to marry a stranger." Ragini said again and tried to calm Swara.

"Ragini please... don't shout...😢" Swara was whimpering while hugging Ragini.

Ragini caresses her back, "by the way Maa you know I won't leave without her. You know she is needs me."

Janki nods, "I know just meet them once."

Ragini refuses, "Maa I'm going to the college now, don't you dare to do something behind my back."

She left her house and went to college, in the evening Ragini returns home.

Swara comes running toward her, "Ragini! Come na look," she points on the guest, "they come for you."

Ragini couldn't believe it, her mother didn't listened to her and agreed for a meeting with them, "Maa can we talk?"

Laksh stood up looking at her, "excuse me. I'm Lakshya Maheshwari, nice to meet you."

Ragini shows her palm, "please I'm talking to my mother. I want to talk to her only."

Shekhar stood up, "Ragini!"

Laksh didn't liked it, "uncle aunty. Is this all going with her allowance?"

"No!" She said and Laksh nods, "oh okay. Maa Papa, if she isn't ready yet. We can't force her." He smiles looking at her, "I can wait."

DP stood up in anger, "Shekhar ji you told me your daughter is ready, by the way who is she?" He points on Swara.

Ragini hold her hand, "she is my sister."

Swara scares, she hides behind Ragini, "Ragini bad uncle."

Janki come, "Swara don't say that."

Ragini fumes, "if you want to marry me you have to accept her too."

Laksh blinks with his eyes, "What?"

Sanskaar laughs, "yaar saali milrahi hai woh bhi muft main {You are getting a sister-in-law for free}." He claps in his hands and Ragini fumes in anger.

"Just shut up! Swara is my sister she has some problems, but she isn't for your amusement. I'm looking after her she is my responsibility."

Laksh nods, "got it, but as far as we got to know, you are the only daughter of Uncle and aunty. Who's child is she?"

Janki looks at them, "She is the child of my sister Shamrista, she has left Swara with us."

Sanskaar and Laksh looked at each other, Sujata fumes, "oh why this?"

Shekhar lowers his gaze, "because she is an illegitimate child."

AP and DP stood up, "you lied to us. You have betrayed us. Keeping an illegitimate child with you, who has no identity. Chi!"

Ragini crosses her arms around her chest, "you are cheap. Just because she doesn't has the name of her father you are outcasting her too. Wasn't it enough that her mother did this to her? Now you are repeating the same with her, instead of helping and understanding her situation you are blaming us for keeping it as a secret? Have you lost your mind."

RP and Sujata got shocked, "how dare you to talk to them like this? Don't you have some manners, you shameless girl!"

Ragini got angry, she made a fist.

"Enough!" All looked at him.

"Laksh, you are defending her?" AP said and Laksh nods, "Maa we are not here to hurt her or judge her. You told me she is a nice choice, the perfect partner for me. I agree I liked her picture, but more than her picture I like her personality. But if she isn't ready to marry me then I won't force neither I will accept that anyone will misbehave or bad mouthing her." He made his point clear to everyone.

Ragini looked at him with open mouth. Oh I didn't thought he would be on my side, but I don't want to marry him or anyone else. At least not yet.

Sanskaar smiles, "wah mere bhai, I thought you won't show your real face, but seems like you have fallen for someone. I hope she would say yes someday."

Laksh scratches his nape, "yeah hope so too."

DP fumes and stamped out of Baadi. It was Laksh, who follows him first, "papa please stop. Don't break something, what hasn't started yet. It can all change."

DP looked at him in anger, "this girl isn't the perfect choice for you. I made a mistake, thank God we got to know about it in advance."

Laksh shook his head. No matter what happens. I will marry her only.
