Wow I'm already 3 words in and yet I already used a fifth of my Media Quota per Wattpad chapter.

Anyway.

Here is my full review of season 3.

So the season started off with the 2 hour "movie" event, Battle for Mewni, I already discussed this before but this felt nothing like a movie, it was just a bunch of episodes compiled into one 2 hour slot, so airing it on a Monday Through Thursday week was too slow, well it would. I also mentioned that this felt less like a season premiere and more of a season finale, like this should have been the Season 2 Finale, not Face the Music or Starcrushed.

I really hope someone else feels the same way I feel about Battle for Mewni.

Then the main season kicked in 4 months later, and it pretty much started off slow. Sure we had some character development, a ship that made Starco shippers concerned which is the resurrection of TomStar or StarTom or Stom........again no cute ship names. And of course the end of Jarco, Jacko, Markie, Mackie, whatever, but this is pretty much made me feel bad, don't get me wrong I hated the ship but this makes me feel bad for Jackie, and this was something I didn't realize until someone posted a meme about it on Instagram, the writer pretty much used Jackie for Marco's Character Development, and straight up written her off the show.

Then the season 3A finale happened and boom Henious is Meteora the whole time.

The rest of the season, Season 3B, was pretty damn big, no that's giving it too little credit, HUGE! That's better.

And then came the scene that made Starco Shippers go nuts, the Kiss, and then in the Finale, Marco admires he kissed Star to Tom, now I honestly thought he was gonna kick his ass, nope he was like, Okay.......I'll say it once, I'll say it a thousand times.

TOM 👏 IS 👏 A 👏 BAD 👏 BOYFRIEND!

I think even he knows he can't compete with Marco especially since we all know Star still has feelings for Marco. I wouldn't be all that shock of Tom breaks up with Star in season 4, mainly because I see him better with Janna.

Final verdict, season 3 was, really good, season 1 was the starter, season 2 was basically yoyoing the Starco ship, but this one had actual character development and great plot progression, something we rarely see in Disney Cartoons, except for Gravity Falls but the character development on that show is at most an "Eh, need Improvement."
