I'm a princes and I shouldn't be acting like this. Especially for a guy who is cute as Marco. I sigh as I took off my gown and changed into pajamas and let my long hair down as I looked at myself in my mirror "I don't want to fall for him this early. What if something happens and I have no idea where he'll be?" I shake the thoughts as I went to bed.

The next morning I went to the dining hall and saw the other paladins awake and bantering as i took my seat. I see Marco sit a few seats away as he looked at me with a sweet smile and I smiled quickly and adverted my eyes so I won't lose focus "Today training will be exactly as yesterday's and I don't want to hear complaints"

they nodded and I nod as I glanced at Marco who was looking at me a bit off. I can tell he was thinking of what to say but had none when food was served. I barely ate as the rest chowed down and had a blast talking and laughing as I watched them. Earthlings were so fascinating and intriguing that I couldn't really understand some of their terms of language.

"Princess?" I look to my side and see Marco standing with his arms by his side as I avoided looking at his eyes "Yes Marco?" "Why haven't you looked at me since last night?" I giggled as I stood up and looked right at him "What do you mean? I'm looking right at you aren't I? Now get everyone into the training room I have a lesson for all"

I walked away from him feeling my heart race as I dashed out the room into the hallway "Oh boy.." I took a deep breath as I walked towards the training deck as they filed in one by one. My eyes trained on each and one of them before I spoke

"I know last night everyone had fun and was free and a bit relaxed but we are still at war with toffee and his army. So with every ounce of strength you have use it in your training today" they smirked and nodded "Going soft on us princess?" Tom asked as I blushed and shook my head

"I'm being generous. Also I have to speak to you after training it's something important" Marco raised a brow a bit concerned that I asked Tom instead of him "As you wish princess" I nod as I look at Marco who looks a bit betrayed before he speaks up "So you're into Tom?"

I was a bit confused "What? No way dude we're just friends" Tom reassured "I wouldn't do that to a bro" I dont understand human words "Star what's going on? You haven't spared a glance at me since last night.." "Oo what happened last night?" Janna asked as the girls nodded in response

"It's not up for discussion. Marco please you're making a scene for nothing" "Oh so that kiss was nothing?" Everyone gasp before I noticed the green paladins face "Marco? You guys kissed?" His face was flushed and stood silent "It wasn't even considered a kiss" I interjected "He just kissed my cheek and walked off.."

my face was burning as I could feel pony glare at me "A princess shouldn't act like this" "I'm sorry" I whispered as they all looked at me and I see Marco look between me and Jackie "I need to go" I ran off I couldn't bare it "Star! Wait!"

I couldn't face them. It was out and everyone will make fun of me and then seeing Jackie like that made me feel guilty. As I ran I bumped into someone and fell down "Ouch" as I look it's a monster "Hello Princess of Mewni" before I could scream they covered my mouth and eyes and dragged me away.

When they removed the stuff I started struggle but i was tied up and looking at a throne "Welcome dear princess. It's been eons since I last saw you" I knew that voice very well "Toffee" he chuckles as he steps off the throne and walks towards me

"You're absolutely right my dear" he held my face before I jerked away "So youthful even if your 10,000 years old" I blushed a bit "Age is just a number..you haven't aged a bit" he smiles as he walks slowly around me "Dark magic my dear. Something your people used to have and now it's mine"

"Greedy! Monster! Let me go!" He tsks as he pet my head "Oh no darling..I just want what's mine" "And excatly what is that?" He looks at me "The black lion" "That doesn't belong to you! It belongs to the butterfly family! My mother and father built that with you! And you turn your back on my people and killed them all.."

he sighs as he tried to recall "Your people are weak and let petty emotions show more then it should have" I whimper a bit as he held my chin up "Cheer up princess..your precious paladins will save you any moment"
