After searching for allies we found one planet which hasn't been run by monsters who work for Toffee. "Princess Star of Mewni welcome to Planet Alzar" I nod as the others follow "I'm honored to be here and to have you as a great allie" the leader of the planet nods as he takes my hand

"This way my dear and for your paladins to mingle and have fun" I looked behind as I see Marco smile and talk to the fellow Alzarians "They will don't you worry" as I'm being brought to their kingdom the paladins walk behind talking and smiling but I see Tom with his arms crossed not really interested until Marco held his shoulder and held a small smile.

"What's this? You are quite fond of the black paladin" I blush and shake my head "What? No I was smiling at their gestures, humans have such a weird way of showing affection" he didn't look convinced "I understand if you wish to pretend that you don't have a affection towards him. But never deny those feelings"

he laughs as I giggle nervously "Your highness when will we sign the contract?" "After a wonderful ball and feast" I raised a brow "What?" "You heard me princess. Maybe you can snag a dance with the black paladin?" I blushed as I look over my shoulder and see him kneeling towards a child

"Uh I suppose I could but I'm not that fond of him" he smirks "As you wish princess" I groan as he takes his leave and I'm spooked when Marco comes to my side "So is this contract set?" I smirked "You scared me Marco" "Oh I'm sorry I didn't mean to" "It's fine. No he won't sign the contract until he gets to know us properly" he sighs and nods "Alright seems reasonable" as I was going to speak the rest came close "Princess are we done here?"

"Easy Tom don't need to be in a rush" he rolls his eyes as the rest give him a look "Not yet. Today we will party with the Alzarians to complete the contract so I hope you dress nicely tonight" I gave a small smile as the girls smiled as the boys which was Tom looked annoyed "I ain't dancing" "You won't have to unless someone wants to" he nods "Fair enough"

As darkness casted over the planet I was still debating on what I should wear? I mean I could always wear my normal clothing but it's a ball and I bet the others are wearing something beautiful. I groan as I find a dress similar to my normal one and put my hair up.

I smiled as i looked at myself and headed towards the doors but before I got there I saw marco dressed in a nice Mewnian suit. "Wow" I blushed as I walked closer "What is it?" "You look beautiful princess" I giggled as I held my hands to my chest "Thanks Marco, means a lot"

as he was going to speak the others showed up and they all looked dashing even the girls looked nice "Whoa hold up. Janna Ordina is wearing a dress? This can't be real?" She blushed at Tom as she crossed her arms "Shut up punk! I'll only wear a dress when I have to do don't be getting ideas!"

I rolled my eyes as Jackie looked beautiful in hers and I felt a bit jealous cause the mewnian dress for her looked better "You look amazing Jackie" Marco said as she smiles "Thanks Marco" I face away and start walking out "Lets get this over with Paladins" I hear them follow behind as we entered the giant castle.

As predicated the king acknowledged us and praised is from saving them from Toffees monsters. I smiled kindly as people came up and spoke to me but my mind floated back towards Marco and how he looked at Jackie. Maybe humans were to stay with humans instead of cross relationships?

"Princess what's with the long face?" I look to my side and see Tom and this time he looked concerned "Oh, Tom I'm fine just thinking that's all" he looked around until I heard him chuckle "You got a crush on Marco don't you?" "Crush? What is this crush?" He looked at me and sighs

"I forgot you were frozen for ten thousand years. A crush is someone you admire and won't tell them because if you did then you seriously get crushed" I sigh "Do I make it obvious?" He smirks "Yeah. Very obvious but it's okay because I don't think he noticed just yet" I smiled as Tom looked around

"What's your deal with the blue paladin?" He shrugs "Beats me. Apparently I'm always better than her when we were on earth. I just think she has a giant crush on me" I giggled "Will you like her back?" He shrugs "Not until she tells me. Want to dance princess?"

I raised a brow at him and smirked "Sure" he took my hand and we moved to the dancefloor. It was a bit awkward at first cause Tom wasn't the type of person to talk about his feelings or even talk much but we just talked and it felt nice. As he dipped me I saw marco looking at us a bit odd

"He's looking at us" Tom held a smile as we pulled away "Janna dance with me" "As if! I will never dan-ah" Tom pulled Janna and danced off as Marco walked towards me "I see you and Tom are getting close?" "Oh he just wanted to dance for a bit and talk"

"That's strange he only talks with me? Any reason why?" I giggled as I looked up at him "What is that earth term when someone feels like a green eyed monster?" "You mean jealous?" I laughed a bit "Are you jealous Marco?" He blushed and I did as well because I didn't expect him to react this way

"Uh no? W-why would I be jealous?" He starts stuttering and it's quite adorable "Hey relax, I assure you me and Tom just had a small talk about the other paladins especially about the blue one" I managed to say as we looked at him and Janna laughing and smiling as she tried to dance

"They seem to get along better" he says as I nodded "Want to dance?" He asked as he held his metal hand "I thought you'd never ask" we laugh a bit as he took me to the dance floor as I was swaying along with him "So Zulu told me you're fond of me. Is this true?" I giggled

"For a human you have a lot of confidence for believing that" he looks at me with a bit of disappointment "So you don't find me appealing?" I blush and sigh "That's not what I meant Marco" we stopped dancing as he held my hands "Then just tell me"

"Marco i-" "Princess! A word!" "King Zulu I was in the middle of something" "it's time to sign the contract" I smiled "Well I'll be with you in a minute" "Of course Princess" he walked off as I returned towards Marco "Marco" "Hey, go sign the contract and we'll finish this later" he gave me a small smile before he left wit the others and I felt my heart ache a bit "Oh my heart"

After completing everything we decided to leave the planet and continue on but before I could change Marco was waiting by my door "Star can we talk?" I blushed and nodded "Of course. What is that you wish to speak of?" He came closer as I felt my breath hitch a bit

"About you liking me" "As in a friend?" He shakes his head "Star why are you dancing over it? Do you not like me at all? You can be honest with me" he was sincere in the tone he used "I'm not dancing over it. I just don't want to ruin the focus in the group if something does happen between us..oh quiznak"

my face was red as Marco held a smile "So you are fond of me" "I'm returning to my room now" as I entered he pulled me out and held my face as I looked into his eyes "Marco don't do what I think you're gonna do" he chuckles as he caressed my face as my heart races a bit "I won't have a goodnight princess" he kissed my cheek and walked off as I stood there dazed and confused. What a turn of events..
