"Rich loser boy? Reading a book!?" Kokomi grabbed the shabby looking book from Childe's hand and skims through it.

"I went to the library because prof Dicklook wanted me to look for Xiao. Found him making out with Aether in one of the isles so I let them be. No damn way I'm going to get in the middle of two people making out. Anyways, at the same isle a book caught my eye because that cover looks so horrible it's funny. I took it and probably ruined Xiao and Aether's make out with my presence pulling a book out of that shelf."

"Is there more to it?"

"Yeah, the character has the same name as me! And he's just like me too!"

Kokomi looked at the cover titled 'Velvet Café ' and shoved the book back at him. "I wouldn't think you'd be the type to read something so cheesy."

"You aren't wrong, like I mentioned once before I can't imagine myself staying with one woman unlike the dude in this one."

Kokomi raises a brow. "I saw u catching up with miss Lumine the other day at the mall."

"We're just bros. She's my rubix cube enemy. She may have beat me once but that's because I was going easy on her."

"Ohooo... But of all things, rubix cubes!?" The girl seemed so utterly not thrilled just imagining the two duking it off on rubix cubes.

Childe takes out a paper and writes 'pls return to the library ' and places it on Itto's table along with the book.

"It was a decent book I can say."

"You read the whole thing?"

"Of course not."

The two took their stuff and left the classroom. Kokomi still wonders how it ended up like this, but the closest person she has in college now is that dunce. His company is entertaining at least.

"I'll be heading to see Lumine now, you coming?"

"I think I'll head back to my apartment, Gorou wanted to watch the new Avatar movie with me there. See you tomorrow rich boy!" She waves and hurries off.

Childe wondered if his friend already got over Sara and has a thing with Gorou now. The two have been spending a lot more time together ever since. While he takes his time walking to his supposed meet up place with Lumine he gets a notification from instacat.

Lumine

Lumine: Hey Childe I had a sudden change of plans so I won't be able to hang out with you today. So sorry!

That's a shame, but alright. : Childe

He put his phone back into his pocket and looked around awkwardly, seeing students pass by. "Do I start a fight with scaramouche or... Oh what if I buy something to bring to (y/n)'s place. I haven't visited them in a week or so. I hope they're doing ok." He mused.

He picked up the pace to his car and drove to the mall.

Childe being rich and unsure of what to bring for (y/n) picked up a bunch of different things at the grocery, then bought a strawberry shortcake from a bakery, and a (fave sanrio character) plush from miniso.

"Childe!?" Lumine was about to enter miniso just as Childe left, calling out to him. She was accompanied by a male with white hair that has a red streak.

"Lumine?" He looked to her and scanned the one beside her, wondering if he was a relative, or a friend, or something more. "A friend of yours?"

"No, boyfriend. His name is Kazuha."

"Nice to meet you." Kazuha waved.

"Sorry we couldn't go with our plans earlier, Kazuha took me out on a sudden date."

"No problemo... Nothing wrong with that at all, I totally understand. Well I have to get going now, got all this for a friend." Childe waved goodbye to them and walked away at a quick pace. Part of him felt betrayed but his ego refused to let him admit that.

One final stop before returning to his vehicle, Childe bought gin, soda, and wine then left to (y/n)'s place.

Upon arriving, he parks outside their house and sees an angry Ayato leaving.

"I hope this isn't a bad time." He mumbles and waits till Ayato is out of sight until he leaves his car with the bags of stuff he bought in his arms.

"(Y/n)?? Anyone home?" Childe struggles to knock on the door with all he was holding. The door is quickly opened by their mom and he enters silently hoping he didn't come here to witness a whole relationship mess. To his luck, or perhaps not, the house had a quiet and depressing atmosphere.

"Hold on sweetheart, (y/n) is in their room. They got into a little fight with their boyfriend." (Y/n)'s mom heads to their room to call their child.

(Y/n) comes out with puffy eyes, immediately noticing the gin in the bag Childe held.

"You again, thanks for coming. I see gin. That for me?"

"Err all this except for the gin. You can have the wine though." He takes a closer look at their dreadful state. "Nevermind, you need the gin more than I do."

"Awesome. Venti is coming over with even more alcohol. He'll be here soon." (Y/n) says with no enthusiasm and helps taking the stuff to the kitchen.

"Groceries??? A cake, a plush. Childe please stop bringing me all this whenever you come by." They start tearing up again. "I don't deserve all this."

"Yes you do, just accept it my comrade in sadness."

(Y/n) gives them a confused look but shrugs it off.

Venti arrives half an hour later and the three spend the night drinking till they pass out.
