Bear's POV
I pick her up only for her to look frightened and startled and I heard a rattling noise but she didn't do anything except glare at me so I gently picked her up and began walking to the army base as it's several hours away but I'm physically fit so we're gonna be fine and it's dawn so we should be there by sunset.

Susie's POV
I just processed what she asked me as she picked me up and that made me startled but I'm not gonna struggle because even though I dislike this she did technically ask me first and hopefully she can find my mom!
