Chapter Three
"My, my, look what we have here!" the fabulously fabulous man exclaimed, chuckling as he saw the family. "The search for you was too easy, seeing as you are the only living things on this entire planet that are actually worth something." Azura immediately grabbed up their child and kept her far from The Granola Bar King, scowling at the intruder. "Anyway, that's not the point. Your mother-"
"She is not my mother. And she never will be." The king was slightly taken aback, but then he saw Susie and composed himself, a smirk on his face. He took a few steps forward, struggling to do so, as the rainbow water planet had a weird sense of gravity. He almost fell over, but grabbed hold of their kitchen table to steady himself. Susie giggled at the funny man. The king smiled at her for a second, then snapped out of his new feeling of compassion. "I see you're a mother yourself now," he laughed as he gestured towards the child.
"Actually, Abdy was the one who gave birth, but essentially yes." The neon man eyed the two for a minute, confused as hell on how the child came into creation. However, he soon realized he didn't care, and snapped out of it. He kept going into weird emotional phases and he wasn't liking it one bit. "Anyway, she told me that I have to make you suffer. I wasn't sure how I was going to do this until now but I have just come up with a plan." He paused to think for a second because he still didn't really have a plan.
"Bars! Attack!" Suddenly, several granola bars came into sight and began to shoot at them with their magical machine guns. The Granola Bar King swiftly took Susie out of Azura's arms. His normal nature would have let the child come to harm, but his normal nature had a loophole. He was greedy and he would take whatever he wanted, and he just so happened to want Susie to join him in his mischievous adventures. Although the man had just ordered a bunch of weird creatures to attack her parents, she held onto him for safety. The king smiled softly to himself, as he seemed to already gained some trust from this child.
They went to the entrance of his scary, deadly, dark red ship, and hurried inside. The inside of his ship was covered in rainbow streamers, wallpaper, polka dots, harmless lazers, upbeat happy music, and food. Yes, the food was rainbow colored, neatly organized in that pattern as well. Susie was let down onto the brightly colored disco floor, as The Granola Bar King went to shut the door. "I know you're probably very scared-"
"I am," the little girl interrupted him, tears in her eyes as she felt the pain of barely being able to breathe. The king realized this and called for his computer. "What is needed, master?" the computer asked in a monotone. "An astronaut helmet connected to a large supply of water from the planet-pronto!" Just as he asked, a giant mechanical arm came out of the ceiling and placed the astronaut helmet onto the child's head.
"Why is this unintelligent life form on the ship, master?" He puffed up with slight anger towards the computer, but breathed so his yelling wouldn't scare Susie. Why did he care so much about the alien child, who had two tentacles for legs, claws for hands, and more tentacles for hair? Was he finally feeling sympathy? He didn't know for sure, but his confusion wouldn't keep him from taking the child as his own. "She's my treasure, my end of the deal. They said I could have anything I wanted from the two once I found them, and she is the 'anything.' Don't question my intelligence, Computer. Set off for planet Earth."
"Without the minions, master?" He confirmed this. "Take off in 5,
4,
3,
2,
1." And with that, the ship took off and began to head on to its next location.
