So we haven't had any Shelby-rodent activity for quite awhile now

BUT OF COURSE THAT WASNT GONNA LAST

Today is a no-school teacher work day, yay, right?

NOPE.

I woke this morning and went to living room.

Shelby was casually grooming herself, as cats do.

I guess she heard something, because she whipped her towards the direction of the wall.

When she started crawling behind the tv stand thing I thought, oh, okay she's just playing.

And yes, yes she was definitely playing.

WITH A RODENT!!

There were these little squeaky squealing sounds and I'm just like it's fine it's fine.
Because it was just Shelby-

SHELBY'S STARUNG AT ME LIKE SHE EXPECTS ME TO DO SOMETHING ICK.

Anyway I thought the sound was just Shelby rubbing up against the movie player thingy.

Man was I wrong.

Look she's taking a break or as my brother's putting it right now, "biding her time"

Long story short: I saw a little rodent that is either a baby rat or a mouse and my mom isn't home so me and my brother have to deal with this ourselves and
