8#- Three of Diamonds ♦️
"Oh finally, someone who's a decent human being." Keijiro sighed with relief upon seeing Inori present.
Inori glanced over at Chishiya. "Wait, why's he here? Probably to screw us over again."
"You two are very similar." Chishiya noted. "To help you two or not will be my choice."
"tO hELp yOu TwO oR NOt wiLL bE mY cHOicE." Keijiro mocked.
Chishiya only stared at him when the automated voice spoke again.
Players will now go to their rooms to reveal which role they will be playing.
Keijiro felt his phone ding and looked down at it. The screen displayed the words, Room 4# and he looked around for said room.
Inori peeked over at his phone. "Cool, I'm in room 2#."
All participants closed themselves inside their given rooms and Keijiro looked around at his. It was just as plain as the rest of the building with one single bed and a digital picture of a sun with a grassy landscape. Another thing that was unusual was a machine stand that showed a blank screen.
Ding!
Keijiro looked down at his phone again to see a series of roles spinning and spinning and spinning until....
SEER: Each night, with your special ability, you can choose a player to see their role. Keep it to yourself or expose them.
"Hmm," Keijiro said, "something fun, I guess." He looked over at the screen on the stand that now showed the words, SEER.
Keijiro then left his room to see others doing the same. He tried to read their expressions but everyone was just plain terrified which was to be expected.
When Keijiro spotted Chishiya coming out of room 9# he walked over.
"Too easy," he heard Chishiya mumble.
"How's it easy?" Keijiro cocked his head. "Observing people again?"
"It's what I do best."
Keijiro side eyed him. "What's your role?"
Chishiya stayed silent.
"Fine." Keijiro smirked, knowing exactly who he'd choose tonight. "Keep your secret."
"Gosh!" Inori stomped over to the two. "I'm a villager. That's so boring!"
"You wanted to be a wolf?" Keijiro asked.
Inori folded her arms. "I wanted to be something that has a special ability." She then nodded at Chishiya. "I bet you he's a wolf. That's why he's so calm right now."
"Nah." Keijiro put his hands on his hip. "He's always calm, he's probably a villager. Why don't the people who are werewolves just tell us so we can all get out of here already?"
Inori rolled her eyes. "That would be the easy thing to do so obviously they've been given a rule saying they can't reveal their role." She pointed to the ceiling. "Maybe they'll get lasered if they do."
"At least one of you has common sense," Chishiya commented.
Keijiro shrugged that comment off and watched as people now started to divide into groups. He gestured to them and turned back to Chishiya.
"See what they're doing? We need to stick together whether you like it or not."
Inori had her eyes settled on a group of three. "Maybe they're the wolves."
Keijiro shook his head. "I don't think they would group up together out in the open like that. They're probably just scared villagers."
One man with dark hair made his way to the center of the room where the chairs were and addressed the crowd.
"I think we should all work together and reveal our roles so we can find out who the werewolves are," he said, "The werewolves shouldn't put up a fight since we can all get out of here alive."
"What an idiot," Inori said, "he's just putting a target on his back."
One woman laughed at the man. "Why would we reveal our roles to you? You could be a werewolf!"
The crowd started to murmur their agreements and the man deflated.
"Fine." He huffed. "Do things your way."
Inori watched the man sit in a chair and fold his arms like a child. "It looks like he was trying to establish himself as some sort of leader. He may be the sheriff."
"The sheriff?" Keijiro asked.
Inori nodded. "I think they're like the leader but I don't really know anything about this game."
"Um excuse me..."
The three of them turned to see a short girl nervously fidgeting with her hands.
"Can... can I join your group?" She asked.
Inori narrowed her eyes, skeptically. "She's definitely a werewolf."
The girl's eyes widened. "What? No! I'm a villager, I swear. Everyone is grouping up so I just don't want to be alone..."
Keijiro sort of felt bad for the girl but did not trust her one bit. "What's your name?"
"Chiyo."
"Well, I guess you can join us for now, Chiyo," Keijiro said and the girl smiled, gratefully.
It is now nighttime
Keijiro blinked from hearing the automated voice again. "That fast?"
The doors to the bedrooms all opened simultaneously and everyone followed orders.
"This will be the night where people start to make moves," Chishiya said, looking very interested now and headed to his room.
Keijiro retreated to his room as well and all of the doors shut. He looked back at the digital picture that once showed a sunny landscape now show a visual of a moon and stars.
There was a beep that drew Keijiro's attention and he turned to see the machine stand's screen glowing. The screen displayed the words SEER but under it were the faces and room numbers of every participant.
"I guess I can use my power now," Keijiro said then smirked at Chishiya's picture before clicking on it.
The screen enlarged the picture and a loading circle spun under it until finally...
MEDIC
Keijiro stared at the screen then started laughing. "A medic? Yeah, I don't think he's saving anyone."
Keijiro then tried to listen to see if he could hear anything happening outside of his room but it was dead silent. After a while, the night picture changed back into the day one and all of the doors opened.
Everyone gathered back in the main area but Keijiro could see that there were some people missing.
Participants in rooms 11# and 8# have been killed. Both victims were villagers.
The participant in room 4# has been saved by the medic
The SEER has used their power
50 minutes remaining
Keijiro listened to the information but then furrowed his eyebrows. "Wait... the participant in room 4 has been saved?"
"That means there is a medic," Inori said, walking over to him along with Chishiya and Chiyo, "I don't know why they chose you, they should've saved me!"
"This also means that either one werewolf tried to kill you but failed or one werewolf chose not to kill at all," Chishiya said.
Keijiro had to hold in a laugh at the guy acting as if he wasn't the medic but cleared his throat. "Well, I wish I could thank this medic—"
"It was me."
Keijiro blinked then looked down at Chiyo who was smiling at him.
"I- I'm the medic," she said softly.
Keijiro noticed Chishiya flinch a little at that but quickly composed himself.
"Oh," Keijiro said, knowing damn well she was lying, "thanks."
"You're welcome!"
"Hey, save me next," Inori said.
Chishiya fidgeted with something in his pocket. "You shouldn't reveal your role so easily. One of us could be the wolf."
Inori scoffed. "Speak for yourself!"
"Right," Chiyo said, "sorry..."
At least Keijiro knew who he was going to check next.
"Did those two people actually die?" One girl asked, fearfully.
The man that tried to establish himself as leader walked over to rooms 11 and 8, trying to open the doors but they were locked. He then pressed his ear against the doors before turning back to the group.
"I think when you get "killed" you just get locked in your room for the rest of the game," the man explained and some people sighed in relief.
"I think we have to vote someone out now," one guy said then took a seat in the chair.
Keijiro took a seat too just like everyone else.
"How are we supposed to know who the werewolves are this early?" One woman asked, "does anyone have any information?"
Keijiro figured he could call Chiyo out on her lie but decided not to until he was sure first.
"What about him?" One guy said pointing at someone.
The man who tried establishing himself as leader pointed to himself. "Me? Why?!"
A woman nodded. "Yeah, he was the one trying to get us to reveal our roles!"
"He probably wanted to know who had special roles so he could kill them!" Inori added fuel to the fire.
Keijiro looked over at her. "Girl, what are you doing?"
Inori just chuckled to herself as the automated voice spoke.
Point to the player you wish to eliminate
Every person immediately pointed to the man who was just staring at the group bewildered. Keijiro figured he should do the same since he didn't want to seem suspicious.
The participant in room 1# has been voted out
The door to room one opened and the man guessed that's where he was supposed to go so he obeyed.
The man then crossed his arms. "You're all making a big mistake—"
The door slammed in his face and the screen on the back wall finally turned on. It showed the man's picture and his room number before the words under him began to spin until it landed on...
Villager
"Huh," Inori said to herself, "I guess he wasn't the sheriff."
"Well, it was the first round so it's not like we had much information to go off on," the woman said.
The participants left their chairs and went to their perspective self made groups.
"What do we do now?" Chiyo asked.
Keijiro thought about it then grinned. "Chiyo, when you heal someone does it tell you what their role is too?"
"Uh." Chiyo fiddled with her hands. "N- No it doesn't."
"Do you have a self heal?"
Keijiro looked over at Chishiya who had asked the question. He figured that the guy was trying to catch her in a lie.
"Oh um." Chiyo pretended to think about it. "No."
Keijiro saw the dissatisfaction on Chishiya's face and guessed that the answer must have been untrue.
It is now nighttime
"Jeez." Inori clicked her teeth. "The time in this game moves so fast."
Once again, Keijiro retreated to his room and saw the nighttime digital picture. He waited a minute before the machine stand before him finally turned on.
Keijiro observed the faces in front him before landing on Chiyo. He smirked then pressed her picture but nothing happened.
Before he could even try again his entire screen went black and the icon of a purple witch's hat popped up.
"You've got be kidding me," Keijiro hissed.
After a while, the doors all opened again and Keijiro rushed to his group.
"Something happened," Keijiro said but the automated voice spoke over him.
Participants in rooms 3# and 7# have been killed. Both victims were villagers.
The WITCH has used their power
30 minutes remaining
"I guess the medic didn't use their power this time," Chishiya noted.
Inori turned to Chiyo with her hands on her hips. "Hey, I thought I said to save me."
Chiyo blinked rapidly. "I...I..."
"The seer didn't use theirs either," Chishiya continued then glanced over at Keijiro, "you said that something happened, what was it?"
Keijiro hated that he felt like the guy already knew what his role was. "It's nothing. So, I guess there's a witch now," he said to change the subject.
"Yeah," Inori agreed, forgetting all about Chiyo now, "so if there's a medic, a seer, and a witch then that makes three specials. I guess there isn't a sheriff at all then..."
"At this rate, we'll lose if we don't start getting any wolves out," Keijiro said then went to go sit in his chair with the rest of the participants.
"This is bad," one guy said, "we're dropping like flies."
"Well there's one wolf that obviously isn't killing anyone," the woman said, "why don't the others do the same?"
"Then we'll be here forever," Inori said.
Keijiro glanced at Chiyo, thinking he knew what her role was now. If they don't start making moves then when the time runs out the only people that'll be left is wolves and they'll all die.
Keijiro sighed then leaned back in his chair. "Chiyo's a wolf."
Chiyo's face paled. "What?!"
The woman looked over at the girl. "Are you sure? She already seems terrified."
"It's not too hard to believe," Inori said, "she's obviously not the medic."
"You're right," Keijiro added, "I already knew who the medic was before she even created that lie." He saw Chishiya side eye him but remained calm.
"How would you know that?" The guy asked.
"Because I'm the seer."
Inori's eyes widened. "Why would you say that out loud?!"
"Because since I know who the medic is, they'll continue to protect me like they did before until I expose every wolf." Keijiro looked at Chiyo. "But your little witch friend may be a problem."
"Little witch friend?" Chiyo paled even more.
"You must have conspired with someone earlier so they'd help you," Keijiro said, "that's probably why you were so nervous coming over to us. Somehow you joined forces with the witch and that person must have noticed how we started to become skeptical of you and stopped me from... wait..."
Chishiya smirked. "It's seems like the witch can see all of our roles."
The woman's eyes widened. "What?!"
"Which is why they're a wild card," Chishiya said, "they saw that Keijiro was the seer and stopped him from seeing Chiyo's role so she wouldn't be exposed. Still, that effort was useless."
"So are we voting for Chiyo?" The guy asked.
"Yes, but first she needs to tell us who the witch is," Inori said with a grin, "I'm sure you can't reveal your own role but you can reveal others."
"You might as well," Keijiro added, "you're going to be voted out anyways. Don't you want to do one good thing while you have time?"
Chiyo played with her hands as her eyes darted around the room. She then shut her eyes before pointing at... the woman.
"That's a lie!" The woman defended herself.
"Why would she lie in her last moments?" Chishiya questioned before the automated voice spoke.
Point to the player you wish to eliminate
Everyone in the room pointed to Chiyo and she sighed
The participant in room 12# has been voted out
The door to the girl's room opened and Chiyo walked inside before it shut behind her. It showed her picture and room number before the words under her began to spin until it landed on...
WOLF
"Alright!" A girl cheered, "two more to go."
Chishiya stared at the girl. "Really?"
She blinked. "What?"
Chishiya laughed and Keijiro understood now.
"Oh!" Keijiro pointed to the guy and the girl. "You two are the last wolves!"
"I see," Inori said, "there are six of us left. The seer, medic, and witch are still here. So that only leaves three suspects. Two who are obviously the wolves."
The guy pointed to Inori. "But that means you could be the wolf!"
Keijiro rolled his eyes. "She's not the wolf. She's the medic."
Inori had a look of shock but quickly covered it up and cleared her throat. "Oh uh yeah. I am."
Keijiro saw Chishiya finally give him a look but said nothing.
"Right," the guy said, thinking about something.
Everyone split up again and the guy and girl went off by themselves this time. Keijiro dragged the witch over to Chishiya and Inori.
"What do you want?" The woman shrugged him off.
"Chiyo was most likely the wolf that wasn't killing," Keijiro said, "I want you to witch the girl."
"Huh?"
"Just do it. Please." Keijiro stared her down. "It's the only way for this to work."
The woman looked between the three then sighed. "Fine, I'll do it. And just so you know, I only helped that girl because she was scared and asked for it." The woman walked away.
"Let me guess," Inori started, "Chishiya is the medic."
"Yep," Keijiro said then smirked, "I was so surprised to be gratefully saved by—"
"I was only testing it out." Chishiya interrupted. "I wanted to know how the process worked."
"Why did you say I was the medic then?" Inori asked then her eyes lit up. "Oh I think I get it..." Before she could say anything else Chishiya explained for them.
"He let it slip that you were the medic so he could prod that other guy into killing you."
"What?!" Inori scoffed. "So I'm a mere sacrifice?"
Keijiro grinned. "Exactly."
Chishiya looked over at Keijiro. "If the guy takes the bait and kills Inori while the witch uses their power on the other girl then only one person will die tonight. We can then vote the guy out and all the witch has to do is keep using their power on the girl, that way nobody dies next round."
"Ah and then you can vote the girl out and we'll win!" Inori clapped, "let's just hope that woman does her job."
It is now nighttime
Keijiro and the others retreated back to their rooms. He didn't really have a need to see anyone's role since he already knew what everyone was. He still clicked on the image of the girl anyways and waited.
WOLF
Keijiro chuckled. "I'm so smart." He just hoped that his door wouldn't be locked as he waited for the doors to open. Once they did he was relieved to see the main room before him and everyone else walked out.
Keijiro looked over at the guy who was obviously the second wolf and saw that he looked very confused when he spotted Keijiro. He then glanced at the girl and bit his lip anxiously.
"Looks like that woman did the right thing," Chishiya said, coming up beside him.
The participant in room 2# has been killed. The victim was a villager.
The participant in room 4# has been saved by the medic
The SEER has used their power
The WITCH has used their power
20 minutes remaining
"I think we already know who we're voting for," Keijiro said.
The guy was shocked by the reveal. "Huh? She was a villager? But..." he looked at Keijiro then at Chishiya. "Damn it..."
Point to the player you wish to eliminate
Everyone pointed at the guy, including the girl who seemed to have given up.
The participant in room 5# has been voted out
The guy's room door opened and he sulked towards it before the door shut behind him. They looked to the large screen on the wall with the guy's picture and room number. The words under his picture spun until...
WOLF
Keijiro turned to the girl. "Ggs."
The same procedure continued for the last round and the witch once again used their power on the third wolf.
No participants have been killed
The participant in room 4# has been saved by the medic
The WITCH has used their power
All they had to do was wait for the elimination and of course the three pointed at the girl who didn't even vote this time.
The participant in room 6# has been voted out
The girl's room door opened and she gave them a smile before retreating into it. The screen showed her picture and room number before the words under it spun...
WOLF
All three wolves have been found within the time limit.
[Game Clear]
Congratulations
[5 day visa]
