While the six of them crept through the hallways, Alexander noticed a group of guards running in their direction. They didn't seem to have notice them, though, but they still stopped in caution. Just when the guards were about to pass, Jemmy got the urge to sneeze.

Maria took notice of this and mouthed, Don't. Jemmy pinched his nose in an attempt to hold his sneeze in. Though his attempts worked for two seconds, the noise he made when he sneezed was more like an elephant's trumpet.

The guards immediately noticed them and yelled, "Hey, you! Stop!" 

"Go, go GO!" yelled Alex as they all started running back down the hall. In one sharp turn, Maria slipped. She let out a cute little shriek as she fell. However, no one seemed to notice. She looked back and the guards were getting closer. Her leg and hip hurt; she couldn't get up. She just closed her eyes shut and waited.

Suddenly, she felt a hand on her arm pull her up and carry her. She still refused to open her eyes; she was having a panic attack. She put her hands to her ears in order to block out all the noise. She felt a sudden splash of water on her and heard several crrracks.

Then the footsteps she heard suddenly got quieter. 

Nevertheless, the person that held her kept running. She felt the person run for a long while, until she heard several pants and the person suddenly stopped. Her panic attack had reduced to a minimum, by that time, and she opened her eyes. What she saw surprised her. "Eliza?"
