We all love someone but if that person doesn't love you back it will become an obsession, but that can turn to hurting others.

I opened my eyes and looked at Jake's watching glowing in the dark, I had another half an hour until my turn to watch, I might as well get up now and relieve Shane, I get up and run a brush through my hair, I pulled it into a braid, I put on my mask and pulled on my jacket, I put my hand on my shoulder and looked in the mirror, the moon was shinning off of it enough for me to see my reflection.

I didn't see who I use to be, I started remembering my mother, she was so heartbroken.

Flashback

"Rae we turn into those things when we get bit!" Jake said running beside me, I was holding my arm to keep the blood from getting everywhere, I took a quick turn, dad showed us a map of the sewers, helps beat the traffic, I know weird.

"I know Jake, but we have to get to momma, she is what matters right now." He stayed silent but I knew he was watching my every move.

"Mom!" I yelled when we got in the house, I heard footsteps above us and then two little kids come running toward me.

"Auntie Rae!!!" Louis yelled and quickly hugged my leg ignoring the blood, Zoey grabbed Jake's leg.

"Is mommy with you?" Zoey asked Jake.

"What do you mean? Isn't she here?" I asked her sweetly

"Mommy went to go find Daddy since there are bad people around."

"Oh my goodness Rae your arm!" My mom said hurrying into the room.

"Mom she was bit." Jake said softly, she looked at me eyes filled with tears.

"Clean it, bandage it, stitch it up, I'm need to find my sister." I told her walking into the kitchen, my mom is a nurse, I hopped on the table and moved my arm, my eye was closed to keep blood from flowing in, she gasped slightly when she saw me.

"I'm okay momma, it doesn't hurt a lot." I gave her a small smile.

She smiled back and started to clean my wounds with alcohol and peroxide, I clenched my teeth and bit my lip to keep from screaming, I felt pressure on my hand and saw Jake I smiled at him and squeezed his hand, after she was done I was shaking slightly from the burning, I nodded to her and she started with the stitches, I let out a small scream but quickly bit my lip.

"I need to do your face baby, we're almost done." I started panting and try to control my shaking, I nodded.

"Lay her down Jake and hold her down this will be the most painful one." Momma told him, he laid me down and held my good arm down and my other one by the wrist.

"I got ya Rae." He said softly, I screamed when mom started my face and tried to get out of my brothers grasp.

"Shh baby it's okay." Mom said

I felt a tear fall down my face, Jake looked like he was about to cry, us being twins gave us a connection no one else could have, we knew when each other hurt, sad, or happy.

"There were done, I just to bandage you up." I cried in relief and the pain, Jake pulled me into his chest gently.

"I got ya Rae easy." My cries slowly died.

"You can't go out like this anymore Rae, if people saw you like this they will try to experiment on you." Mom said gently and handed me my mask and meds to help the pain.

Flashback end

I snapped out of the memories and quickly walked out to the RV.

"I love you Lori and Carl, Rick can't even keep you safe." I heard Shane's voice I slowly walked to the RV's ladder.

"I don't love you Shane, stop trying to pull me and him apart!" Lori whispered loudly.

"Lori please...." I heard footsteps and then skin on skin contact.

"Stay away from the three of us." She said through clenched teeth and started coming down the ladder, I quickly moved to other side so she wouldn't see me, I watched her walk off.

"I know your there Rae." I heard Shane I looked up and saw him looking at me, I walked over the ladder and climbed to the roof.

"I swear if you say anything I won't hesitate to kill you." He said through clenched teeth, I looked him dead in the eyes.

"I'm not afraid of you Shane, if you think I am you are a fool."

He looked me in the eyes, his whole body language changed, he ran to me grabbing my bitten shoulder and punched me in the stomach, I fell to my knees.

"Be lucky I even let you and your family into the group, if you don't do what I said, I will kill every single one of you." He said while gripping my hair and pulling it up to face him. He threw my head down, I quickly caught myself and held my stomach gasping for some air, it knocked the wind right out of me.

"Have fun on watch." He said climbing down the ladder, I stayed like that for a few more minutes, I got up carefully since it hurt badly.

I took deep breaths to calm the pain and looked around looking for any signs of walkers.

A few hours later I heard someone climbing up the ladder.

"Hey go get some sleep." I heard his sweet voice, Daryl.

"Sure." I got up but quickly held my stomach, I didn't think he hit me that hard.

I felt a hand on my back and saw Daryl, "Easy Princess, what's wrong?"

"Nothing."

"Rae....Tell me."

"I....fell." I lied

"Tell me the truth, someone falling won't cause them to double over." He said gently.

He helped me sit down, "Shane punched me because I heard him talking to someone about something." I said quietly.

"I'll kill him, let me see."

I blushed, "S....see what?"

"Your stomach, lift your shirt up a little."

I blushed but did what I was told, I lifted it up a little bit, he sucked in a breath.

"You got a pretty bad bruise Princess." He slightly touched it and one hand rested on my side, it burned in a good way where is hands rested.

"Take it easy and when you eat don't wolf it down." He said with a smirk, I blushed when he looked up, I looked into his eyes, he was so kind I felt my heart beat faster when he placed his lips on my stomach and pulled back.

"I'll kiss it better Princess." He said with a wink, he pulled my shirt back down, standing up he picked me up.

"What are you doing?!" I said not loudly.

"Helping you to your room, it's going to hurt going down that ladder." I wrapped my arms around his neck.

"And how do you suggest you and I get down there?" He smirked and I didn't like that smirk, he freaking jumped off the RV!!

He chuckled when I squealed, "Why did you do that?!"

"I ain't no sissy, Merle always dared me to jump off crap."

"Merle?" I asked looking at him confused.

"My brother, that's why we were in Atlanta, we were lookin for him." He said setting me down.

"I would like to hear more about him sometime."

"Sure Princess." He said with a smile, it was a real one.

"Goodnight archer." I said with a wink, it's been a long time since I lasted flirted with a guy.

He chuckled, "Night Princess."

Maybe, just maybe everything will turn out okay.
