Game Changes
Soo Jin POV
Before his fist could make contact a hand shot out and grabbed his wrist. I looked over to see Mika and directed my eyes back to Sehun.
"Thanks Mika.", Takuya sighed.
Sehun snatched his hand away before glaring at me once more.
"You better watch yourself.", he told me and I looked up at Mika who was already looking down at me.
"Thanks I guess.", I said and he nodded before walking towards the stairs.
"You good?", Karam asked while sitting down at the table.
"Yeah I'm fine.", I answered.
"Look about yesterday..", he started.
"Its nothing. I acted terribly.", I interrupted.
He gave me a small smile before Takuya pulled out a map of the city.
"Here is where we are. We've been trying to figure out the best route to docks for a while now.", Takuya stated.
"Why the docks?", I asked.
"When the outbreak started people got up and left. Packed up their things and took the highway. They didn't realize this virus was everywhere.", he started.
"Boats are still there. We just need fuel and supplies then were home free.", Sehun added as he walked in.
"What if the keys aren't there? What were you gonna do then?", I asked.
They both got silent and Takuya let out a sigh.
"We don't know.", he said sadly.
"Plan B, there's a military base in town. 9 times out of 10 its abandoned. Only thing is that it's on the opposite side of town away from the docks.", I informed them.
"How the fuck are we suppose to get from the docks to the base?", Sehun spat.
"Quickly and quietly. Unless you want to go in guns blazing attracting every infected within a 5 mile radius.", I said and Takuya tapped the table.
"And if its been overrun? Or taken over?", Sehun questioned irritably.
"We have guns. We'll be better off fighting in a secured area than being cornered on a dock with no where to go.", I sneered.
"She's right Sehun. What of the keys aren't there. We come back here?", he sighed and Sehun went over to the intercom.
"Everyone downstairs now.", he ordered and everyone gathered in the lobby.
"What's going on?", Tera asked.
"Go ahead kitten.", Sehun smirked.
"Your plan to make a break for the docks has a small but important flaw.", I stated.
"Which is?", Jason asked.
"The boats don't always have keys. The owners can be roaming around here looking for a meal for all we know.", I retorted and he got quiet.
"There's a military base on the other side of town. We were headed there before the gas station. Pretty sure that's where our group went. If we can get there well have food, water, shelter, and security.", Karam said.
"But if you want to stick to your boat plan go ahead. Were not stopping you. But Karam and I are going to that base and whoever wants to come can come with.", I stated.
"We refuse to be cornered on a dock if the keys aren't there.", Karam added.
"Military base or docks.", Sehun asked the group.
"This isn't a debate. Karam and I are going to that base.", I corrected him.
"So you trying to split the group?", Sehun accused me.
"No. YOU all can go to the docks if that's what YOU want to do. We're leaving.", I said motioning to Karam.
"Jinnie.", Mark sighed.
"No Mark. That was our original plan.", I stopped him.
"So this decision is yours.", I said as they all looked around to each other.
