Okay people before we begin this is my story so no stealing it. I'm looking at you inconspicuous reader no stealing!

"Ane honey could you turn off the lights upstairs please?" mom yelled from downstairs. We were moving into our new house today, and we were packing up the last of our things. All that was left for me to do was turn off the...

"OW!" I jumped back in surprise as the light switch shocked me.

"Ane what happened honey? Are you alright?" mom yelled up the stairs concern lacing her voice.

"Mommy!" I cried as I ran downstairs to her with tears in my eyes. The shock didn't hurt much, but it was enough to scare the life out of me.

"Oh its okay honey. Here let mommy take a look at it." She gingerly took my hand into her own and observed for any damage.

"It hurt." I pouted as I looked at my hand. 

"Its not damaged honey I think the light switch just gave you a jolt." She said as she returned my hand.

"Alright mommy." I said as I wiped the tears from my eyes and regained my composure the best I could.

Mom and I went outside to see that dad had brought the van around, and was patiently waiting for us. The van had tinted windows, and had a ghostly white paint that (pedo van XD). 

"What took you so long?" Dad questioned as he began driving down the road.

"Oh Ane just got shocked is all nothing serious." Mom said as she pulled out her phone and started instant messaging her coworker. Yes instant messaging I know its ancient bare with it until the next time skip.

I sat in the car and started to relax when I felt an energy rush in my legs. I jolted up and looked down to see if anything had caused this. The floor under me was clean though, since dad had cleaned out the car before the move to make extra space for the boxes. I tried focusing and clenching my muscles. Next thing I knew the energy rush was back, and the feeling was overwhelming. I ignored it however as I thought everyone could do it.

"huh" I said as I moved my leg. When I move the energy rush disappears that's weird.

"What's wrong honey?" My mother questioned as we pulled up into the drive way of our new home.

"Mommy my legs feel weird" I said as I got out of the car.

"Oh Ane I'm sure its nothing" My father said as he opened the trunk and started unloading boxes containing our belongings. 

"Okay dad" I said as I took in my new surroundings.

The house was two stories high with a white paint not unlike that of our van. The shutters were a deep navy blue that contrasted perfectly with house's coloration. I started towards the front door pushing the energy rush to the back of my mind. 

"Eh I bet the kids at my new school can do the energy thingy too" I said as opened the door to our new house. 

Little did I know I would become a hero...

Hey guys sorry for the short chapter I'm not used to writing anything too long yet, but I will try to update this as consistently as possible. Why am I writing you ask? (Glares at Sarah) Well lets just say I've had a push from a friend in the Wattpad community.
