Chapter Two from my Second Book Skinny Love.

Today you decided to wear a sleeveless top that showed off your sun-kissed skin. I noticed you have a birthmark shaped like a half moon on your right shoulder.

Your collarbones stick out and i notice that you're getting thinner by the day. Why have you been skipping your meals? Are you sick? I'm seriously worried about you.

At lunch you took a few small bites from your green apple. I smiled. I was so caught up in the moment I stopped holding up the book to hide my face and you saw me. Again. Your chocolate coloured eyes lock with mine before widening when realisation washes over you and now you know I was staring at you. Again. Dammit!

I quickly lifted the book up to my face again and let out an exasperated sigh. I shut my eyes and let out a low groan and then i feel a tap on my shoulder.

"That's the second time i catch you staring at me. what's your deal?" You say, anger and annoyance lacing your voice. I look up to find you staring at me with a scowl plastered on your face. All the heat in my body rushes to my face and I hope you don't notice that. I drag my sweaty hands over my jeans to wipe of the sweat. You've got me all sweaty and on edge now.

My deal is you haven't been eating for the past week and I wanted to know what was wrong with you. My deal is I was extremely happy to see you eating something for once. My deal is that I like you, like a lot.

"I'm sorry it's just that I was day dreaming and for some reason I ended up looking your direction twice, sorry." I say before standing up, with my tray and book in had, and leave the cafeteria. I was flustered I ended up walking out with my tray still in my hands. I let out a snort, laughing at how ridiculous I was being. What is it about you that makes me so nervous?
