Much to your dismay, his playlist seemed to be full of nothing but a collection of sappy love songs. He couldn't actually like this right? He was just trying to set the mood, maybe this was really his sister's car, or what if the radio was just having a bad day? Well, these weren't the right songs to 'set a mood', he probably didn't have a sister, and you hadn't heard a single commercial the whole time.

"Ummm, Bo?" you tried to get his attention.

He gave a "hmmm?" in response, still focusing on the road ahead of himself.

"Do you mind if I turn the music off?"

"Thank god, I was getting sick of it too," he laughed. It was a pleasant sound, the carefree joy that he possessed. "My mom told me to play it, but honestly, I hate that CD. It's nothing but cheesy garbage."

You let out a sigh of relief, happy to know you weren't alone in the situation.

"Here we are," Bokuto nudged you awake. "You sleepyhead. It only took us an hour to get here and you still managed to somehow fall asleep."

You shook your head, partially in annoyance, partially from embarrassment. Car rides were calming, what was so weird about falling asleep? Your question was apparently being ignored, losing favor to the restaurant ahead of you. It smelled like fish, more like the ocean actually.

"How did you know I was taking you somewhere nice?!" Bokuto asked with a look of shock on his face. Did he honestly expect you to dress casually for the first date?

"Just a hunch," you shrugged, making your way to the wooden stairs that led to the restaurant.

Bokuto was still amazed, but followed your lead. At the top, he graciously opened the door for you, bringing about a small blush. What a gentleman. Suddenly you remembered that it was him that made the reservation however, and shrunk back allowing Bokuto to talk to the hostess.

"Our table will be ready soon is what she said. So you wanna play a game while we wait?"
