Chapter 3: Meeting the Dashing Captain Jack Harkness
Emily
"What's the emergency?!" Rose asked worriely. "It's mauve." Dad replied trying to hold the Tardis together. "Mauve?" Rose asked walking towards Dad. "Universally recognized color for danger." Dad replied looking at her. "What happened to red?" Rose asked going to my Dad's left side. "Well that's just for humans. By everyone else its standard is red. Oh, the misunderstanding is red alert, solar, dancing. We've got a very basic flight computer which enslaves the Tardis so wherever it goes, we go. Emily, are you alright?" Dad asked concerned. Ever since I woke up twelve hours ago, he wouldn't stop fussing about me. "I'm fine, Dad." I replied smiling.
"It's safe, is it?" Rose asked nervous. "Totally." Dad replied walking towards another part of the engine which sparked making Rose gasp. "Ok, reasonably. I should have said reasonably." Dad said going back in front of the monitor.
"NO, NO, NO, NO, NO! It's jumping in time travel. It's getting away from us." Dad exclaimed trying to control the Tardis to follow the thing. "What exactly is this thing?" Rose asked looking at the monitor as well. "No idea." Dad replied keeping his eyes on the monitor. "Then why are we chasing it?" Rose asked. "It's mauve and dangerous. And about thiry seconds from the center of London. Hold on tight!" Dad yelled specifically for me. The TARDIS materialized making my hearts beat so fast. I smiled calming down. Dad and Rose went out ahead leaving me to close the door, again. I sighed shaking my head.
"From all the spieces of the whole universe and it has to come out of a cow." Dad said chuckling. I bet they were talking about milk. "Must have come down somewhere quite close." Dad commented strating to walk. "With in a mile anyway. And kinda more of a few weeks ago, maybe a month." Dad explained. "A month?! We were right behind it." Rose asked surprised. "It's jumping time travel, it's all over the place. Emily, please walk faster." Dad replied turning back to look at me. I rolled my eyes and jogged after them.
"Well, are you gonna scan for alien tech or something?" Rose asked excited. "Rose, it hit the middle of London with a loud bang. I'm gonna ask." Dad replied showing her the psyhic paper. "That's John Smith, Ministry of Asteriods." Rose read out loud. "It's psyhic paper. It tells you what I want-" Rose cut him off. "Whatever you want me to see, yeah I remember." Rose continued looking a bit annoyed. "Sorry." Dad apologized. "Not very Spock is it? Just asking." Rose asked smiling. Dad ignored her and neared the door trying to hear what was inside. "Door, music, people. What you think?" Dad asked looking for his sonic screw driver. I wonder when I'll have one of those.
"I think what you should do is scan for alien tech. Give me some Spock, for once. Would it kill ya?" Rose asked frowning. "Are you sure about that t-shirt?" Dad asked ignoring her earlier question again. I rolled my eyes. Rose checked her shirt. "I'll just say I'm taking it out for a spin." Rose replied smiling.
"Muuuuuuuumy." A child called. Rose and I turned around and searched where the voice was coming from. "Muuuuuuumy." The voice called again. "Come on if you two are coming." Dad said opening the door. "It won't take a minute." Dad stated going in. I frowned contemplating whethere to follow the voice or my Dad. "Muuuuuuuumy." The voice called again. Fuck it. Let the old man have his fun. I frowned and started looking for the origin of the voice.
"Doctor." Rose called. I turned back to the door and smiled shaking his head. "Doctor, there's a kid out there!" Rose yelled. I looked back at Rose to see her climb up the ladder. "Rose! What are you doing up there?" I asked frowning. I looked higher to see a child with a gas mask. "Mummy?" The boy asked. "OK, hang on. Don't move." She ordered. I climbed up the ladder to see her reach for a rope. "Mummy... ballon." The boy said pointing up. Shit!
"Rose!"I yelled trying to get her attention, but it was too late. The ballon already took her. "Doctor! Emily!" She called. I tried to concentrate my powers to pull her down, but I couldn't reach her in time. She was too far up. "Doctor! Emily!" Rose yelled. What am I going to do!? I can't lose Rose! "Emily! Please, help me!" She yelled scared. "I promise I'll get Dad to get you. I'm so sorry for not being able to pull you down in time." I replied looking down. "That's a promise! Just please make it quick!" She hollered tightening her grip on the rope. "I promise." I whispered. I looked back at where the kid was, but he disappeared. I sighed and walked back towards the Tardis. "Leave the exploring to the grown-ups." I mumbled walking towards the library. I looked for a book and walked back outside. I leaned on the railing and started reading.
"Rose!" Dad called. I looked up from my book and saw Dad walking towards me. "You know, one day.. just one day maybe, I'm gonna meet somebody who gets the whole Don't wander off thing." He said shaking my head. I smiled waiting for him to finish his monolouge. "Nine-hundred years of phonebox travelling, it's the only thing left that surprise me." I said petting its back. "Uh, Dad, I'm still here. No need to be so dramatic." I said getting his attention. He turned around to see me. He put the kitty back and walked towards me.
"Where's Rose?" He asked frowning. "She got caught on a rope attached to an air-ballon." I replied looking back to my book. "Why didn't you try to pull her down?!" He asked frowning again. "Dad, she would be here right now if I was able to pull her down, wouldn't she!?" I asked rolling my eyes. He sighed. "I'm happy you're safe." He whispered hugging me. "Dad, book getting squished." I said patting his back. I smiled and pulled away.
The phone started to ring. Dad walked towards the Tardis and opened the small door where the phone was held in. "How can you be ringing... What's that about, ringing... What am I supposed to do with a ringing phone?" He asked getting his sonic screwdriver. "Dad, you answer it." I replied sighing. Sometimes I wonder what age he really is in. "Don't answer it." A girl said getting his attention. "It's not for you." She continued. "And how do you know that?" Dad asked walking towards her. "Cause I do." She replied. "And I'm telling ya... don't answer it." She ordered. "Well, if you know so much tell me this, how can it be ringing?" Dad asked puzzled. "It's not even a real phone. It's not connected, it's not even a real phone." He continued turning towards her, but she was gone. I continued to read my book.
He frowned and answered the phone instead. "Hello?" He asked curious. "It's the Doctor speakin, how may I help you?" He asked smiling. "Mummy... Mummy?" The voice asked. I dropped my book, freezing. How can it be!? It's the child from earlier! "Who is this? Whose speaking?" Dad asked frowning. "Are you my mummy?" The boy asked. "Who is this?" He asked again. "Mummy." The boy called again. "How did you ring here, this isn't a real phone, it's not wired up to anything-" He was cut off. "Mummy." The boy said then the line went dead.
Dad looked at the phone and put it back where it belonged. "Rose?" He called. "Rose are you in there?" He hollered looking through the Tardis window. "Dad, I told you-" I was cut off by him. "I know, just checking. You might have been messing with me." He replied grinning. I rolled my eyes as we heard the sound of things falling. He closed the small door and motioned for me to follow him. I started to feel under the weather. "Dad, I think I'll stay in the Tardis. I don't feel so good." I said walking towards the Tardis. "Suit yourself." He stated running towards the alley.
Rose
I looked down on the ground below. I don't want to die yet! I still want to see my Mum and Mickey! I am currently hoping that Emily will get the Doctor soon. I am terrified up here. Then I saw the airplanes flying towards me. "Ok, maybe not this t-shirt." I said tightening my grip on the rope. More planes coming! I held on tighter and looked at the ground below. Ugh! I was loosing my grip. Any time now I would fall into all those explosions! This went on for minutes, before my whole grip was lost. I was falling and screaming. I didn't know what to do then bright light caught me. I took in deep breathes. "OK, OK. I got you." A voice said out of nowhere. "Whose calling?" I asked taking in more deep breathes. "Whose got me and you know, how?" I asked covering my eyes.
"I'm just programming your descend pattern. Stay still as you can, and keep your hands and feet inside the light field." The voice ordered. "Descend pattern?" I asked to myself frowning. "Oh, and can you switch off your cell phone." The voice ordered again. "What?" I asked comfused. "No, seriously can you turn it off? It interfers my instrument." It replied. "No one ever believes that." I mumbled turning my cell phone off. "Thank you, that's much better." It said happily. "I was sucked in by the light and someone caught me. "Hello." I said smiling. "Hello." The person replied. "Hello." I said the second time. "Hello." The person replied laughing. He helped me stand up, but I felt dizzy and blacked out.

"Rose!" I yelled repeatedly running out. Then a cat meowed. I turned to it and carried it in my arm. "You know, one day.. just one day maybe, I'm gonna meet somebody who gets the whole Don't wander off thing." I said shaking my head. "Nine-hundred years of phonebox travelling, it's the only thing left that surprise me." I said petting its back. "Uh, Dad, I'm still here. No need to be so dramatic." A familiar voice said behind me. I turned around to see Emily reading a book. I put the kitty back and walked towards her.
"Where's Rose?" I asked frowning. "She got caught on a rope attached to an air-ballon." She replied looking up from her book. "Why didn't you try to pull her down?!" I asked frowning again. "Dad, she would be here right now if I was able to pull her down, wouldn't she!?" She asked rolling her eyes. I sighed, she was right. "I'm happy you're safe." I said hugging her. "Dad, book getting squished." She said patting my back. I smiled and pulled away. I don't know what I'll do if I loose her too.
The phone started to ring. I walked towards the Tardis and opened the small door where the phone was held in. "How can you be ringing... What's that about, ringing... What am I supposed to do with a ringing phone?" I asked getting my sonic screw driver. "Dad, you answer it." Emily replied sighing. "Don't answer it." A girl said getting my attention. "It's not for you." She continued. I turned to her and kept my sonic screw driver. I never leave with out it. "And how do you know that?" I asked walking towards her. "Cause I do." She replied. "And I'm telling ya... don't answer it." She ordered. "Well, if you know so much tell me this, how can it be ringing?" I asked.
"It's not even a real phone. It's not connected, it's not even a real phone." I said turning towards her, but she was gone. I frowned and turned to Emily who was still reading the book. I frowned and answered the phone instead. "Hello?" I asked curious. "It's the Doctor speakin, how may I help you?" I asked smiling. "Mummy... Mummy?" The voice asked. "Who is this? Whose speaking?" I asked frowning. "Are you my mummy?" The boy asked. "Who is this?" I asked again. "Mummy." The boy called. "How did you ring here, this isn't a real phone, it's not wired up to anything-" I was cut off. "Mummy." The boy said then the line went dead.

I closed the small door and motioned for her to follow me. "Dad, I think I'll stay in the Tardis. I don't feel so good." She said walking towards the Tardis. "Suit yourself." I replied running into an alley and heard voices. Like a mother calling her child.
"...Get in the shelter..." The woman ordered. I got up a trash can and I looked beyond the wall. "Come on! Get in there!" A woman ordered pushing a boy towards the shelter. "Arthur... Arthur will you hurry up! Didn't you here the siren!" The woman asked. The man yelled something ending with eat then looked up the sky and walked towards the shed. He closed it after him. The girl from earlier walked cautiously towards the house and closed the door behind her. I frowned and went down from the trash can.

I know I am missing in the action, but ugh! My head started to hurt and I don't know why. I think I'm gonna go to bed. I can't take it anymore! It was like daggers were piercing my head. This is really annoying. I cautiously walked towards my room and sat on the bed. I removed my shoes and laid on the bed. I can't take the pain any longer. I have to sleep. I put my head on the pillow and was fast asleep.
Vision
"Just this once, everbody lives." Dad said raising his hands. The child awhile back was turned back to normal so did the other people he touched.
Rose walked out the Tardis. "Rose! What have you done?!" Dad asked worried. Rose was talking, but I couldn't seem to understand it because all I could see was Jack's dead body in front of me. I looked back at the screen to see the Dalek's gone. "Rose, I think you need a Doctor." Dad said kissing Rose. Light was being transferred to Dad then we all went in the Tardis. "See you soon, Rose and Emily. Let me just say both of your were fantastic. And you know what... I too was Fantastic." Dad said then bright light covered his body then a new face came in. "Oh, where was I?" He asked checking his teeth.
"It is. It's the city of New New York. Strictly speaking, this is he fifteenth so that makes it New New New New New New New New New New New New New New New New York." Dad said smiling at Rose. "I'll give you two some private time. I'll just go ahead to the hospital, Adieu." I said smirking as I walked towards the hospital. "Just wait for us in the lobby!" Dad hollered. I just waved my hand to show him I heard him.
"Rose!" Dad and I shouted together trying to reach Rose, but she was caught by her Dad from the Parallel World and disappeared forever. "Rose Tyler-" Dad was cut off by the signal getting cut. He and I cried silently. None of us talked for hours until Dad decided to look for a new companion. "Dad, no! Please, I'm not ready yet. I can never get over her." I said sadly. "But we have too." Dad replied going out the door.
"Emily this is Martha Jones. She's a Doctor. Martha, this is my daughter, Emily. The one I was talking to you about." Dad introduced her. By the way she looks at Dad, I can't even begin to think of ways to get her out. She was in-love with my Dad. "Where's Rose?" She asked curious. "She's gone. Don't even try talking about her." I replied harshly than I intended too. "Emily." Dad scolded. "I'm sorry." I replied smiling fakely at Martha and walking towards my room.
"Martha, no!" I shouted as she disappeared from the ship. The Master was torturing my Dad making him older and older. I was held captive with Jack, my new love interest. After he flirted with Martha, I got really jealous and I missed him a lot.
Donna and Dad gave each other looks asking why each of them were there. I missed her since she got into the Tardis quite by accident. She was supposed to get marrried soon, but she somehow made her way into the Tardis.
End of Vision
"Emily! Wake up!" Rose said shaking me awake. I sat up rubbing my eyes with my wrist. "Mom!" I exclaimed hugging her tightly. "I was so worried." I whispered. "I know, I'm safe now." She stated kissing my forehead. "What's the emergency and you had to wake me?" I asked pulling away. "I want you to video your Dad dancing." Rose replied handing me a video camera. I immediatly woke up and walked behind her. "What took you two so long?" Dad asked flying the Tardis. "Oh, nothing, Dad. So where are we going?" I asked sitting on the railing, again. "Oi, quit sitting on the railing." Dad scolded parking the Tardis. I went down from the railing and sighed. "Go open the door." Dad ordered. I walked towards the door and opened it to see a young man running towards the Tardis. I closed it after him.
"Rose!" The guy exclaimed. "Jack!" Rose exclaimed as well and hugged him. A song started to play. I smirked and prepared the video camera. "Rose, I just remembered something. I can dance!" Dad exclaimed starting to dance. Rose let Jack go and went to dance with Dad. I smiled and continued to video them. "Captain Jack Harkness, who are you?" He asked walking towards me. I smile at him and put the video cam on the stand. "Emily, Doctor's Daughter." I replied shaking his hand. "Oh, you're Emily. Nice to meet you." He stated smiling. "Oi, you two. Don't start." Dad scolded still looking at Rose. "I was only saying hello." Jack replied smirking.
