Chapter 19: Family Matters
Dean
It's been a year since Emily came and she met our mother. Now she just met our Dad. She was knocked out most of the hunt of the Colt for some unknown reason, but she recovered after and now we're looking for Yellow Eyes. "Who is she?" Dad asked pointing at Emily who was standing close behind me. "Why are you so scared all of a sudden?" I whispered. "I'm scared of your father." She replied nervously. "Speak up." Dad ordered. Emily took my hand. "My name is Emily, sir." She replied nervously. Her hand was getting cold. Dad just nodded. "So this is it. This is everything I know. Look, our whole lives we've been searching for this demon right? Not a trace, just...nothing. Until about a year ago. For the first time I picked up a trail." Dad said after a while. "And that's when you took off." I commented. "Yeah. That's right. The demon must have come out of hiding, or hibernation." Dad stated. "All right so what's this trail you found?" I asked. "It starts in Arizona, then New Jersey, California. Houses burned down to the ground. It's going after families, just like it went after us." Dad replied.
"Families with infants?" I asked frowning. This is some messed up shit. "Yeah. The night of the kid's six-month birthday." Dad replied. "I was six months old that night?" Sammy asked. "Exactly six months." Dad replied looking at Sammy. ACDC's Back in Black played and everyone gave Emily weird looks. "I'm sorry. I need to take this." She mumbled embarassed and walked out the door. "Is she your girlfriend, Dean?" Dad asked raising a brow. "Fuck, no!" I denied quickly. "I see." He replied explaining everything to us. Emily never came in so I walked out to see her crying. I immediately sat beside her and pulled her towards me. "Shhh... Shhh... What's wrong?" I asked worriedly. "My Dad is asking me to go back with him, but I can't leave you guys. I... I just can't. I can't leave knowning you guys are going to war and I'm not there. I want to help you guys." She replied sniffing. "Emily, look at me." I ordered. She looked up. "Emily, if what you have to do is important, then go with your dad. We can handle this on our own." I said wiping her tears with my thumb. "I-I... I don't know what to say." She whispered laying her head on my shoulder. "You don't have to say anything." I whispered back letting her head lay on my shpulder. She gave me a confused look. "What are you doing?" She asked suddenly frowning. She's so adorable. I I sighed and caressed her shoulder. "Just this once. I'm going to act like your big brother and hug you." I whispered smiling. She blushed trying to pull away.
"Just this once." I whispered as she chuckled lean ob my shoulder. "Dean?" She asked as I smiled and kissed her forehead. "Yeah?" I asked as she wrapped her arms around my torso. I didn't move at first, but after a minute I hugged her tighter to me. "Emily, you know Sam and I love you so if you have to leave and go with your father, then go." I said kissing her forehead. Two fingers touched my forehead making me blackout.
Emily
Dean stopped hugging me then someone pulled me away from him. I frowned and looked up to see Cas glaring at Dean. "C-Cas?" I asked surprised. I haven't heard from him for the last five months. "Why were you so close to this self-loathing human?" He asked frowning. I raised a brow at him. "Don't I have a right? It's not like we're in a relationship, Cas. You never even came when I prayed for you to come. I needed someone to talk too and I ended up telling Dean or Sam about it so don't come saying shit about Dean. I know he self-loathes a lot, but that's him. Unlike some people who leave people behind." I pointed out. He frowned and took a step towards me. I backed up one step. He used his Angelic mojo to hold me in place. "Cheater." I mumbled looking down. Cas brought my face up and smiled sadly at me. "I know what I did and I'm sorry. I was looking for a new vessel as not for Uriel to find me because he forbade me to see you because I as getting attached to a human." Cas replied. I nodded for him to continue. "The human is you Emily. An angel falling for a human is forbidden and I always heard your prayers. I am always there for you." Cas whispered nearing our lips so they were touching. Tears started to pour down my face. Damn, I showed my weak side again to him. He gently wiped my tears away and connected our lips. My hands quickly trailed up his neck and pulled on his hair loving the sound he was making. He then pulled away just enough for our noses to touch.
"I'll always will be here for you, remember that. Don't let any other man touch you like I do, even Dean." Cas ordered connecting our lips again. Shit, I never felt this needy before. "I promise." I replied in between kisses. He started to make a trail of kisses down my neck to my sweet spot making me moan silently. Dean was starting to wake up, but Cas put two fingers on him again while continuing to kiss me. His hands pulled me closer to him making me wrap my legs around him. We pulled away smiling. "We shouldn't be doing this here." I said embarassed. "Don't worry. No one can see us." Cas whispered bitting my neck making me gasp. Since when did the Angle know this kind of stuff? "I can read your mind." He whispered hugging me closer to him. I blushed letting him do what he wants, but the door opened making Cas back away. We'll continue later. He mouthed. I smiled and slapped Dean awake. He looked up to see his Dad and Sam raising a brow at him. "I'm sorry for keeping him long. I have to go now. I'll see you soon, Sammy. Mr. Winchester. Dean." I said giving Dean and Sam a kiss on the cheek. "Shall we?" Cas asked behind me. I turned to him and frowned. "Who is this?" Sam asked raising a brow. "She's my fiancée." Cas replied glaring at Dean. Dean and Sam looked confused. "Call me when you find yellow eyes." I said giving them all a hug. We walked hand in hand towards my car and drove to a motel. I had wide eyes. "How can you possibly know this?" I asked out loud. "Someone unknown has taught me." He replied smiling. "You were looking at what Dean was watching... didn't you?" I asked smirking. "No! I most certainly not!" Cas protested. I smiled as I closed the door behind me. Cas pinned me on the wall. I had wide eyes. "Since when did you get rough?" I asked smirking. "Since that human touched you." He whispered smirking and attacking my neck. I moaned pulling his face away from my neck and kissed him on the lips. He lifts me up and I wrap my legs around him. He wraps his arms around my waist and pulls me closer. He walked towards the bed and laid me on it. He was on top of me in a second without his jacket. He attacked my lips then removed my trench coat without him disconnecting our lips. His lips are intoxicating. He pulled on my shirt as he got his off.
I smiled tracing my fingers on his abs. They were so hard and smooth. He groaned pulling my shirt off completely. I smirked pulling him in for another hot kiss. Unfortunately, my phone had to ring and we pulled away. Cas got off me and tossed me my shirt. I blushed reaching for my phone. "Hello?" I asked handing Cas his jacket. "Emily! Come back 'ere!" Dean yelled through the phone. I frowned and put the phone on loud speaker. "Did you find him?" I asked a bit irritated. "Yes! Now come on!" Dean yelled ending the call and texting me the adress. "I assume that you can't come since your it's fate?" I asked Cas sadly. "I'm sorry, Emily, but please be careful." He whispered kissing me then disappearing. Shit... I think I'm in-love. I wore my shirt and I shook my head and walked towards my car and drove back to the cabin. I went in and closed the door behind me. Dean was smirking at me while John glared at me. "So... What is it you wanna talk about?" I asked blushing. "A vision." John replied flatly. "Sam?" I asked turning towards him to see him rubbing his temples. I walked towards him and sat beside him. I stopped his hands and pushed them down. I rubbed his temples at the same time giving him some of my timelord energy. "Yes, I saw the demon burning another woman on the ceiling." Sam replied painfully and slowly. I sighed kissing his forehead. I tuned out of the conversation again thinking about my family back home.
It wasn't this complicated before... Sam winced bringing me back to reality. "Are you alright?" I asked concerned. He just nodded. Sam's phone rings. I let him go and got his phone. "Hey!" He yelled trying to get his phone. I pushed him back and answered his phone. "Hello, Sam's sister speaking." I said smiling. Dean chuckled as Sam shook his head. "Oh, so you're Emily. Nice to meet you, but let me talk to Sam." She said coldly. "Chill." I said handing Sam his phone. "Who is this?" He asked. "Think real hard it'll come to you." The girl on the other line replied. "Meg." Sam stated. "Last time I saw you, you fell off out the window." Sam continued. "Yeah, no thanks to you. That really hurt my feelings by the way." She said smirking. I stopped listening. "We need a replica of the Colt." John said looking at us. "I'll go." I volunteered. "Dean will go with you. Sammy, you're coming with me." John said patting my back. "Yes, sir." I replied walking out. "We'll use the Impala." Dean said seriously. I'm worried about him. He may not say it, but I know he's scared. He drove on without saying a word and he was breaking lots of speeding rules. "Dean... Dean..." I called trying to calm him down, but he just slowed down a little. "Dean!" I called again. He slowed down the car, but kept on driving.
Cas is gonna kill me for this. I took the wheel from Dean and made the car stop at the side. "What the fuck!?" Dean asked glaring at me. I kissed him quickly and pulled away before he could pull me back. He froze for a second. "Are you calmed now?" I asked glaring at him. It feels weird kissing him. He's my real brother after all in the real world! He shook his head and turned to me. "Don't you have a fiancée?" He asked frowning. "Yes, I do have one and I love him so much, but you... You wouldn't calm down." I replied sighing. He nodded in understanding. "We better get that colt duplicated." I said taking his hand in mine. He looked up and smiled. I let his hand go and we drove to the shop. I stayed in the car then Cas appeared. "You kissed him." He stated in the back seat. I sighed and transfered to the back seat. "I know I-" He cut me off with his lips. I smiled kissing him back. He pulls away just so our foreheads were touching. "I swear if he touches you again... I'll make sure he dies before the prophesy is fulfilled." He whispered kissing me again. He pulled away kissing my forehead. "See you soon." He whispered disappearing. The door opened then Dean came sitting in the driver's seat. "What the hell happened to you?" He asked raising a brow. "What do you mean?" I asked walking out and sitting shotgun. "Your lips are swollen." He commented getting out of the parking lot. I blushed looking out the window. We arrived at the meeting area. We got out and I leaned on Impala.
Sam and Dean walked towards me and Dean motioned for me to get in the back seat. I nodded and walked towards the back seat then I felt a sharp pain as soon as John left. "Emily, are you alright?" Sam asked worriedly. "I'm fi-Ack!" I hissed massaging my head. Am I going to have one of those premonitions again?
"We're going back to the cabin." Dean said driving quickly towards the house. "No... Please... I want... To help..." I whispered feeling my head get more painful. Sam got me out and carried me towards the bed. "Stay here, don't move, we'll be back in two or three days. Order food if you want. Just please, rest." He whispered kissing my forehead. I smiled then closed my eyes. The door closed then the sound of wings rang. I smiled and opened my eyes to have it fade. "You are distracting Castiel from his most important mission. He should be training to protect the Winchesters, but he treasures his relationship with you more than his duties. You have to disappear.
You'll be erased from his memory. Your punishment would be knowing this and your first kiss will be taken back. He'll forget all about you. Remember this, Emily." Uriel said touching my forehead. I yelled blacking out.
Sam
"What we need is a plan. Now, they're probably keeping Dad alive, we just gotta figure out where. They're gonna wanna trade him for the gun. What?" Dean asked glancing at me. "Dean, if that were true, why didn't Meg mention a trade? Dad, he might be..." I trailed off. "Don't!" Dean yelled. "Ok, I don't want to believe it any more than you. But if he is, all the more reason to kill this damn thing. We still have the Colt. We can still finish the job." I reasoned. "Screw the job, Sam!" He yelled. "Dean, I'm just trying to do what he would want. He would want us to keep going." I stated. "Quit talking about him like he's dead already. Listen to me, everything stops until we get him back, you understand me? Everything." Dean replied angrily. I paused to think, he does have a point. "So how do we find him?" I asked. I was still worried about Emily though. I shouldn't have left her there. "Maybe we go to Lincoln. Start at the warehouse where he was taken." Dean replied. "Come on, Dean, you really think these demons are going to leave a trail?" I asked raising a brow. "You're right. We need help." Dean replied driving toward Bobby's place. Of course.
We went to Bobby's and he's teaching us a thing or two about demons. "Something's wrong." He stated just in time for Meg to come kicking the door. "No more crap, okay?" She asked smirking. Dean comes charging at her with holy water, but she hits him and he gets knocked out. I step in front of Bobby. "I want the Colt, Sam, the real Colt, right now." She stated. We slowly moved across the room to trick her into going inside the demon trap. "We don't have it on us. We buried it." I replied. "Didn't I say no more crap? I swear, after everything I heard about you Winchesters, I got to tell you, I'm a little underwhelmed. First Johnny tries to pawn off a fake gun, and then he leaves the real gun with you two chuckleheads. Lackluster, men. I mean, did you really think I wouldn't find you?" She asked laughing. "Actually, we were counting on it." Dean replies staring at her. She turns to look at him and he looks up showing her the trap etched on the ceiling. "Gotcha." Dean stated.
"You know, if you wanted to tie me up, all you had to do was ask." Meg stated smirking. "I salted the door and windows. If there are any demons out there, they ain't getting in." Bobby said holding a canister of salt. "Where's our father, Meg?" Dean asked going around us to reach Meg. "You didn't ask very nice." She teased. "Where's our father, bitch?" Dean asked more seriously. "Jeez. You kiss your mother with that mouth? Oh wait, I forgot, you don't." She teased again. "You think this is a frigging game? Where is he?! What did you do to him?" He asked lunging at her and putting his hands on the chair's arms. "He died screaming. I killed him myself." She said smiling. Dean looks at her with pure hate and slaps her. "That's kind of a turn on, you hitting a girl." She commented. "You're no girl." Dean replied. Bobby stands up and goes to the next room. "Dean." He called.
Bobby scolded Dean saying that there's a girl trapped inside and that she's just possessed. I got the book and looked for an exorcism. "Are you gonna read me a story?" Meg teased. "Something like that. Hit it, Sam." Dean ordered "Regna terrae, cantate deo, psallite domino......." I continued in Latin. "An exorcism? Are you serious?" Meg asked. "Oh we're going for it, baby, head spinning, projectile vomiting, the whole nine yards." Dean replied. Shit, he's raged ".... tribuite virtutem deo." I continued. Meg flinches in pain and looks directly at me. I look at Dean. "I'm gonna to kill you." She states then looks at Dean. "I'm gonna rip the bones from your body." She said glaring. "No, you're gonna burn in hell. Unless you tell us where our Dad is." Dean retorted.
"Well, at least you'll get a nice tan." He commented glancing at me. "Exorcizamus te, omnis immundus spiritus, omnis satanica potestas, omnis incuriso infernalis adversarii, omnis legio, onmis congregatio et secta diabolica...." I continued. Meg shakes and she gasps in pain making me stop. Should I continue? "He begged for his life with tears in his eyes. He begged to see his sons one last time. That's when I slit his throat." She said smiling. "Ergo..." I continued. "For your sake, I hope you're lying. Cause if it's true, I swear to God, I will march into hell myself and I will slaughter each and every one of you evil sons of bitches, so help me God!" Dean yelled glaring. "Perditionis venenum propinare. Vade, satana, inventor et magister omnis fallaciae." I read then a window opened. "Hostis humanae salutis. Humiliare sub potenti manu dei. Contremisce et effuge. Invocato a nobis sancto et terribile nomine. Quem inferi tremunt..." I continued. Meg is starting to show signs of pain. "Where is he?" Dean asked. "You just won't take dead for an answer, will you?" Meg asked. "Where is he?!" Dean asked angrily. "Dead!" Meg yelled. "No, he's not! He's not dead! He can't be!" Dean yelled. I glanced at Dean as he glanced back at Dean. "What are you looking at? Keep reading." He ordered. "Ab insidis diaboli, libera nos, domine. Ut ecclesiam tuam secura tibi facias, libertate servire, te rogamus, audi nos. (the chair starts to slide around the circle) Ut inimicos sanctae ecclesiae humiliare digneris, to rogamus audi...." I read.
"He will be!" Meg yelled. "Wait! What?!" Dean asked. "He's not dead. But he will be after what we do to him." Meg replied exhausted. "How do we know you're telling the truth?" Dean asked. "You don't." Meg replied. "Sam!" Dean yelled. "A building! Okay? A building in Jefferson City." Meg cut in before I could say anything. Damn it! She better tell us! I don't want anyone getting hurt! "Missouri? Where, where? An address!" Dean ordered. "I don't know." She replied. "And the demon, the one we're looking for, where is it?" I asked. "I don't know! I swear! That's everything. That's all I know." She replied worriedly. "Finish it." Dean instructed. "What? I told you the truth!" Meg demanded. "I don't care." Dean replied. "You son of a bitch, you promised." Meg stated. "I lied!! Sam?" Dean called. I couldn't read since Meg could be an asset to us to find that damned demon. "Sam! Read." Dean ordered walking towards me. "Maybe we can still use her. Find out where the demon is." I suggested quietly. "She doesn't know." Dean replied. "She lied." I stated. "Sam, there's an innocent girl trapped somewhere in there. We've go to help her." Dean reasoned. "You're gonna kill her." Bobby states. "What?" Dean asked. "You said she fell from a building. That girl's body is broken. The only thing keeping her alive is that demon inside. You exorcise it... that girl is going to die." Bobby replied. "Listen to me, both of you, we are not gonna leave her like that." Dean stated. "She is a human being." Bobby reasoned. "And we're gonna put her out of her misery. Sam, finish it." Dean instructed. Should I really do this? I... Is it? "Finish it." Dean ordered. I took in a deep breath. "Dominicos sanctae ecclesiae, terogamus audi nos, terribilis deus do sanctuario suo deus israhel. Ipse tribuite virtutem et fortitudinem plebi suae, benedictus deus, gloria patri...." I continued.
Meg throws her head up and screams as black smoke came out of her and went in the protective circle. Meg leans forward and blood drips down her mouth. She slowly lifts her head up. "She's still alive." Dean stated. "Call 911. Get some water and blankets." Dean instructed Bobby. "Thank you." She whispers as we untie her. "Shh, shh. Just take it easy, alright?" I said worried. "Come on. Let's get her down." Dean stated. We lift Meg up gently from the chair and laid her on the floor after we heard the crack of bones and her scream. "Sorry, sorry. I got you. I got you. It's okay. It's okay." I soothed. "A year." Meg stated in a strained voice. "What?" I asked. "It's been a year." She states again. "Shh, just take it easy." I replied. "I've been awake for some of it. I couldn't move my own body. The things I did... it's a nightmare." She stated. "Was it telling us the truth about our Dad?" Dean asked. "Dean." I scolded. "We need to know." Dean replied. "Yes. But it wants... you to know... that... they want you to come for him." Meg replied weakly. We shouldn't put the pressure on her. "If Dad's still alive, none of that matters." Dean stated. "Where is the demon we're looking for?" I asked as Bobby came with a blanket and water. Dean gently let Meg drink the water. "Not there. Other ones. Awful ones." Meg replied. "Where are they keeping our Dad?" Dean asked again. "By the river. Sunrise." Meg replies with eyes open. "Sunrise. What does that mean? What does that mean?" Dean asked, but Meg was dead.
Emily
I opened my eyes to see I was in the Impala. The fuck!? How did I get here!? I looked back to see the trunk up. I smiled I got out the car, but fell on the ground. What the fuck!? "You've been quiet." Sam commented. "Just getting ready." Dean replied. Getting ready for what? "He's gonna be fine, Dean." Sam stated. WHAT THE FUCK DID I MISS!? I walked towards Sammy. He flipped a page and started to draw on the trunk. "Dude, what are you drawing on my car!" Dean asked panicking. "It's called a Devil's trap. Demons can't get through it or inside it." Sam replied. "So?" Dean asked "It basically turns the trunk into a lockbox." Sam replied. I do not want to hear this. I closed my eyes and concentrated on where I wanted to go and ended up in an Apartment. Mr. Winchester!? Yup, I think I turned into a ghost, but how? I don't remember anything before this aside from the fact that I was in the Impala the whole damn time. I turned to my left to see a couple with black eyes guarding the room. They turn to me and smirk. "Are you lost?" The woman asked. Shit! I closed my eyes and imagined Dean, Sammy, and the Impala. "That's not true, Dean." Dean scoffs. "I want Dad back. But they are expecting us to bring this gun. They get the gun, they will kill us all. That Colt is our only leverage and you know it, Dean. We can not bring that gun. We can't." Sam reasoned. "Fine." Dean replied. " I'm serious, Dean." Sam stated. "I said fine, Sam." Dean replied a bit irritated. Dean got it out of his jacket and put it in trunk. Sneaky bastard put it back in his pocket when Sammy wasn't looking. They started to walk along a river when Dean stopped.
"Hey, hey." Dean called. Sam stops and looks at him. "Think I know what Meg meant by Sunrise." Dean stated as Sam followed his gaze and saw a building with a sign saying, Sunshine Apartments. "Son of a bitch. That's pretty smart. I mean, if these demons can possess people they can possess almost anybody inside." Dean commented. "Yeah, and make anybody attack us." Sam joined in. Damn it! Why am I in this form!? I wanna talk to you know! I better go back to my body before anything happens. I closed my eyes to see I was inside the Apartment and Dean and Sam were coming down the hallway dressed in full fireman gear: helmets, breathing apparatus, etc. Dean is using EMF to check the doors of the apartments. I better help him. I touched the EMF and pulled it towards John's room. "I always wanted to be a fireman when I grew up." Dean stated. "You never told me that." Sammy replied. I stopped the the EMF went nuts. "This is the fire department. We need you to evacuate." Dean ordered. Dean and Sam came through the door and I pushed the woman away. They sprayed them with holy water from their tanks and Dean punches the man and shoves him into a closet. "Come on!" Dean yelled. Sam grabs the woman from the table and shoves her in the closet as well. Dean leans against the door as he closed it. "Hurry up!" Dean yelled. I pushed the door too and Sam pour salt around the closet door. The pounding stops and they remove their masks. They walked towards the bedroom where John was held. "Dad?" Dean asked leaning his head down to listen. "He's still breathing." Dean stated and started to shake the man awake. "Dad, wake up. Dad!" Dean yelled. "Wait. Wait." Sammy said stopping Dean from removing the restraints. "What?" Dean asked. "He could be possessed for all we know." Sam replied. "What, are you nuts?" Dean asked. I could feel bad energy. "Dean, we got to be sure." Sammy replied taking the flask of holy water out of the duffle bag and sprinkles it on John. "Sam? Why are you splashing water on me?" John asked with yellow eyes. What the fuck!? Why didn't it work on him!? He must be no ordinary demon! "Dad, are you okay?" Dean asked. "They've been drugging me. Where's the Colt?" He asked. "Don't worry, Dad, it's safe." Sam replied as Dean cut him free. "Good boys. Good boys." John said smiling.
I was suddenly pulled away from them and pushed towards a dark hole. "Sammy! Dean!" I called, but no one answered. I closed my eyes took in deep breathes. "Emily, wake up." Sam whispered kissing my forehead. Could it really be him? I felt lips on mine and I immediately opened my eyes to see Dean pull away and smirk. I blushed rolling my eyes. "How is he?" Sam asked pouring salt on the window seal. "He just needed a little rest, that's all. How are you?" Dean asked taking my hand and looked at Sam. "I'll survive. Hey, you don't think we were followed here, do you?" Sam asked looking at us. "I don't know. I don't think so. I mean, we couldn't have found a more out-of-the-way place to hole up." Dean caressed my hand. "Yeah. Hey, uh... Dean, you, um... you saved my life back there." Sam said sitting beside me. "So, I guess you're glad I brought the gun, huh?" Dean joked. "Man, I'm trying to thank you here." Sam replied smiling. I chuckled hugging them both. "You're welcome." Dean replied hugging me. I blushed letting Sam go. "How are you feeling?" Sam asked walking across the room. "A lot better." I replied smiling. "Hey, Sam?" Dean called. "Yeah?" He asked. "You know that guy I shot? There was a person in there." Dean stated pulling away and looking down. I frowned and looked at him. "You didn't have a choice, Dean." Sam replied. "Yeah, I know, that's not what bothers me." Dean replied. "Then what does?" I asked. Dean looked up and stared into my eyes. "Killing that guy, killing Meg. I didn't hesitate, I didn't even flinch. For you or Dad, the things I'm willing to do or kill, it's just, uh ... it scares me sometimes." Dean replied looking at Sam who was also speech-less. John comes into the room. "It shouldn't. You did good." John cut in. "You're not mad?" Dean asked frowning. That's yellow-eyes! Damn it! He's even got the acting wrong. John would've kicked Dean's ass for wasting the fucking bullet. Shit, I'm starting to swear a lot.
"For what?" Yellow-eyes asked. "Using a bullet." Dean replied. "Mad? I'm proud of you. You know, Sam and I, we can get pretty obsessed. But you... you watch out for this family. You always have." He commented. And now you're busted. "Thanks." Dean said giving me the signal that somethings wrong. I nodded. The wind suddenly picks up and the lights start to flicker. I stood up. " It found us. It's here." He stated. "The demon?" Sam asked a bit to excited. "Sam, lines of salt in front of every window, every door." He ordered. "I already did it." Sam replied. "Well, check it, okay?" He instructed. "Okay." Sam replied walking out. "Dean, you got the gun?" John asked. "Yeah." Dean replied standing up as well. "Give it to me." He ordered. "Dad, Sam tried to shoot the demon in Salvation. It disappeared." Dean replied taking the colt out of his jeans and taking a step forward as if to protect me. "This is me. I won't miss. Now, the gun, hurry." He ordered again. Dean hesitates and looks down at the gun. "Son, please." He pleaded. Dean was pushing me back. "Watch it." I whispered keeping my eyes on John. "Give me the gun. What are you doing, Dean?" He asked frowning. "He'd be furious." Dean commented. "What?" John asked puzzled. "That I wasted a bullet. He wouldn't be proud of me, he'd tear me a new one." Dean replied pointing the gun at him and cocks it. "You're not my Dad." Dean stated putting one arm behind me.
"Dean, it's me." Yellow-eyes insisted. "I know my Dad better than anyone. And you ain't him." Dean retorted. "What the hell's gotten into you?" John asked frowning. "I could ask you the same thing. Stay back." Dean ordered. Sam comes in and is shocked to see Dean pointing the gun at Yellow-eyes. "Dean? What the hell's going on?" Sammy asked confused. "Your brother's lost his mind." He replied. "He's not Dad." Dean stated. "What?" Sam asked a bit confused. "I think he's possessed. I think he's been possessed since we rescued him." Dean replied upset. I so badly wanted to say; damn right! "Don't listen to him, Sammy." He stated. "Dean, how do you know?" Sam asked for confirmation. He's starting to think about it. "He's ... he's different." Dean replied fighting back the tears. I wrapped my arms around him and glared at John. "You know, we don't have time for this. Sam, you wanna kill this demon, you've gotta trust me." John said glaring back at me. Sam looks back and forth between his father and brother. Dean glances at him, but doesn't say anything else. "Sam?" John asked. Sam looks back and forth. "No. No." Sam replied walking towards us. "Fine. You're both so sure, go ahead. Kill me." John said looking down. Dean holds the gun on him, but can't pull the trigger. "I thought so." He said looking back up and his eyes are yellow. Sam lunges, but is thrown against the wall, pinned there. He pulls me away from Dean, pins him to the wall and pulls me towards him. Dean dropped the gun and John picks it up. "What a pain in the ass this thing's been." He commented pulling my face to face him. "Take your hands off her!" Dean yelled. "It's you, isn't it? We've been looking for you for a long time." Sam stated. "Well, you found me." He replied ignoring Dean and trailing his hand on my back. "But the holy water?" Sam asked. "You think something like that works on something like me?" He asked letting my face go and faced Sam. Sam tries to fight the force that has him pinned to the wall, but fails. He smirked and forced me to kiss him. I tried to pull away, but he pulled me closer then he pulled away. "I'm gonna kill you!" Sam yelled. "Oh, that'd be a neat trick. In fact, here. Make the gun float to you there, psychic boy." He said pushing me to the floor and laid the gun on the table. Sam looks at the gun, but nothing happens. "Well, this is fun. I could've killed you a hundred times today, but this... this is worth the wait." He said walking over to the window beside Dean, sighing. Dean struggles, but is still pinned to the wall. John looks over at him.
"Your Dad... he's in here with me. Trapped inside his own meat suit. He says hi, by the way. He's gonna tear you apart. He's gonna taste the iron in your blood." He stated pulling me by the hair and pushing me towards the wall behind him and pinned me to it. My head fucking hurts! "Let them go, or I swear to God -" Yellow-eyes cut him off. "What? What are you and God gonna do? You see, as far as I'm concerned, this is justice. You know that little exorcism of yours? That was my daughter." He said walking towards Dean. "Who, Meg?" Dean asked. "The one in the alley? That was my boy. You understand." He stated ignoring Dean's earlier question. "You've got to be kidding me." Dean said a bit annoyed. "What? You're the only one that can have a family? You destroyed my children. How would you feel if I killed your family? Oh, that's right. I forgot. I did. Still, two wrongs don't make a right." He said turning to look at me. "You son of a bitch." Dean commented. "I wanna know why. Why'd you do it?" Sammy asked. "You mean why did I kill Mommy and pretty, little Jess?" John replied frowning at me. "Yeah." Sam replied weakly. "You know, I never told you this, but Sam was going to ask her to marry him." He stated backing up towards Sam. He told me that before when it was like my third of fourth day with them so it wasn't that much of a shocker. "Been shopping for rings and everything." He pauses and turns to Sam. "You want to know why? Because they got in the way." He finally continued. "In the way of what?" Sammy asked. "My plans for you, Sammy. You... and all the children like you." He replied proudly. "Listen, you mind just getting this over with, huh? Cause I really can't stand the monologuing." Dean stated pissed. I chuckled. Yellow-eyes turns to me and I could feel a sharp pain in my chest. I started to cough out blood. "Funny, but that's all part of your M.O., isn't it? Masks all that nasty pain, masks the truth." He said smirking. "Oh, yeah? What's that?" Dean asked masking the pain in his eyes. "You know, you fight and you fight for this family, but the truth is they don't need you. Not like you need them. Sam... he's clearly John's favorite. Even when they fight, it's more concern than he's ever shown you." He commented releasing me. Damn, that's a relief. I couldn't even breathe damn it! "I bet you're real proud of your kids, too, huh? Oh wait, I forgot. I wasted 'em." Dean replied looking so relieved. Dean just smiles at him and John looks at Dean. He steps back and puts his head down. When he looks back up Dean suddenly yells in pain.
"Dean!"
"Dean! No!"
Sammy and I yelled at the same time. Dean starts to bleed heavily from his chest. "Dad! Dad, don't you let it kill me!" Dean pleaded. John looks at him again and smiles. Dean starts screaming in pain. "Dean!! No!!" Sam yelled again. "Listen to your own son damn it!" I yelled trying to break free from the force. The blood is flowing out of Dean then out of Dean's mouth. "Dad, please." Dean pleaded before he passed out. "Dean!!" Sam yelled. "Please!! Let me go to him!" I pleaded. John smiles and tosses me across the room beside Dean. "Stop." He whispered. "Stop it." He said again then Sammy is set free. Sam dives and grabs the gun off the table. John turns to him, eyes yellow once again, and Sam aims the gun at him. "You kill me, you kill Daddy." He warns. "I know." Sam replied firing the gun and shooting John's leg. He falls down and so do we. I gently pulled Dean closer to me. "Dean, wake up. Please wake up." I whispered smoothening his hair. "Dean? Emily? Are you guys alright? Oh God, you've both lost a lot of blood." He commented as Dean started to have consciousness. "Where's Dad?" Dean asked weakly. I felt tears fall down my face as I smiled. "He's right here. He's right here, Dean." Sam replied smiling. "Go check on him." He ordered. "Dean." Sam stated. "Go check on him." He ordered again raising himself up with his elbows. "Don't do that. You'll hurt yourself." I whispered wiping my tears away. "I'm not hurt." He lied smiling. "Shut up. You lost a lot of blood." I whispered kissing him.
"Sammy! It's still alive. It's inside me, I can feel it. You shoot me. You shoot me! You shoot me in the heart, son! Do it now!" We heard John order. We pulled away. "Sam, don't you do it. Don't you do it." Dean ordered weakly. "You've gotta hurry! I can't hold onto it much longer! You shoot me, son! Shoot me! Son, I'm begging you! We can end this here and now! Sammy!" John ordered. "Sam, no." I said frowning. "You do this! Sammy!! Sam..." He called, but the demon leaves John and disappears through the floor. "Hang in there. Don't you dare close your eyes on me." I whispered kissing Dean one last time before he closed his eyes. Sam helped me carry him to the car and I stayed beside him the whole time. "Look, just hold on, alright. The hospital's only ten minutes away." Sam said reassuring me. "I'm surprised at you, Sammy. Why didn't you kill it? I thought we saw eye-to-eye on this? Killing this demon comes first... before me, before everything." John commented. Sam looks in the rear view mirror at Us. "No, sir. Not before everything. Look, we've still got the Colt. We still have the one bullet left. We just have to start over, alright? I mean, we already found the demon..." Sam gets cut off with us getting hit by an eighteen wheeler. I hugged Dean to protect him. The door hit my back making it ache. Dean wasn't waking up so I transferred some of my timelord energy to him so I can heal his internal bleeding. The last thing I saw was Sammy pointing the Colt at a demon.
