Chapter 18: Timelord Assest

Emily

I couldn't sleep. I was having premonitions. I know Sammy has same power, but mine is worst. I see more than meets the eye. I feel what they feel. I've been having them for awhile now and I still can't get used to it.

Dean woke up, but he didn't notice me as he opened the laptop. Gosh, I hate it when this happens. He checks to many shit in the internet. I'm hungry though. I quietly got out off bed and got me shoes. "Where the hell are you going?" Dean asked raising a brow. I chuckled and smiled. "Out to eat." I replied smiling. He quickly stood up and got his jacket. He held out his arm and smiled. "Shall we?" He asked. I laughed and linked my arm with his as we gently closed the door and drove to the nearest fast food chain. We walked in and sat down. The waitress came and Dean immediately flirted with her. I smirked and took Dean's hand in mine. "Deanny, why are you not talking to me?" I asked smirking and side glancing to see the waitress flush red and faced me. Dean frowned and pulled his hand away from mine.

"May I take you order?" She asked. "I'll have a burger and your cute cherry lips." He replied winking. "I'll have pancakes with maple cyrup and a milk shake, please. Quit flirting with my boyfriend." I said glaring at her. She had wide eyes and quickly walked away. I laughed clutching my stomach and pointing at him. "You just blew of my once in a life time opportunity to sleep with her." He stated glaring at me. "Glare all you want, mate. I'm just sad that Sammy didn't get to see this." I commented in between laughs. The waitress came back with our food and she banged it on our table. "Enjoy your meal." She said glaring at both of us. She walked off not swaying her butt anymore. I chuckled and ate my food. Dean was ranting on about me being mean. "I'm done. Lets go." I said smiling and standing up. He sighed and let me wrap an arm around his. We reached a car and I kissed his cheek. "Dean, I'm sorry for ruining your chance to have sex with that girl, but I'm tired of you sleeping around." I said getting in and looking out the window. He sighed and went in as well. "Emily, come 'ere." He instructed patting the spot beside him. I did as I was told he put an arm around my shoulder. "Sleep." He said starting the car and driving back to the motel.

I think I fell asleep because I woke up beside Sam while he was drawing a tree. "You're awake." He commented smiling. I smiled back and leaned on him as he drew. "All right. I've been cruisin' some websites. I think I found a few candidates for our next gig. A fishing trawler found off the coast of Cali -- its crew vanished. And, uh, we got some cattle mutilations in West Texas. Hey." Dean said still looking at the laptop. He clearly didn't notice me wake up. Sam looked so out of it. "Am I boring you with this hunting evil stuff?" Dean asked frowning. "No. I'm listening. Keep going." Sam replied showing me the notebook. "What is it?" I asked back. Sam looked back at the picture he drew. "And, here, a Sacramento man shot himself in the head. Three times." Dean stopped and waved a hand in front of Sammy. "Any of these things blowin' up your skirt, pal?" Dean asked. "Wait. I've seen this." Sam commented. "Seen what? What are you doing?" Dean asked as Sam pulled me out of bed and went to his duffel bag. I frowned and waited.

"Oh, rise and shine princess." Dean said smirking. I shot him a glare as Sam brought out an old photo. I walked towards him to see that he was comparing his drawing to the tree in the photo. They were the same tree.

"Dean, I know where we have to go next." Sam stated looking at me. "Where?" Dean asked. "Back home - back to Kansas." Sam replied looking back at the photo. I can finally see their house! "Okay, random. Where'd that come from?" Dean asked. "All right, um, this photo was taken in front of our old house, right? The house where Mom died?" Sam asked showing Dean the photo. I sat beside Dean and laid my head on his shoulder to get a better view of the photo. Their mom was gorgeous. Look at her hair and eyes! I wish I was that pretty. Dean has her gorgeous eyes. "Yeah." Dean replied. "And it didn't burn down, right? I mean, not completely, they rebuilt it, right?" Sam asked again.

"I guess so, yeah. What the hell are you talkin' about?" Dean asked frowning. "Okay, look, this is gonna sound crazy but....the people who live in our old house - I think they might be in danger." Sam stated. "Why would you think that?" Dean asked. "Uh...it's just, um....look, just trust me on this, okay?" Sam said looking at me and walking away. "Wait, whoa, whoa, trust you?" Dean asked pushing my head off his shoulder. "Ow!" I yelled hitting his arm. He glared at me. I looked down. Stupid ass!I tuned out of the conversation and walked out to get some fresh air. This started to happen often now.

I sighed and sat on my motor. Yes, I know, How the fuck did I get a motor? Well, I got it yesterday. John shipped it here. I miss them all already. My memories are fixed now. Maybe I can try calling my Dad. I got my phone and looked for his number. I contemplated whether to call him or not. It might be a shock though, right? I called him anyway. I need someone to talk since Cas didn't even appear when I prayed. "Hello? Who is this?" He asked confused. "Dad?" I asked nervously. "Emily!? Shush! All of you!" He ordered trying to cover the phone. I chuckled remembering him. "Emily, are you still there?" He asked hopefully. "I'm still here. So what's going on, on your end, Dad?" I asked smiling. Shit, tears! Not now! Fuck. "Well, we're in UNIT headquarters. Where are you?" He askec worried. "Dad... I'm fine. I... I saw what happened to the Master three or two days ago before I had a flashback of you." I replied sniffing and wiping my tears. "Emily, are you cry?" He asked. I chuckled and felt more tears fall down. "No, Dad. I'm just calling to say hi. It's been so long since I last saw you." I replied sniffing again. "Emily, you can lie to me, but I know you're crying you can't hide that from me. Why are you crying?" He asked again. "I miss you and everyone else. Yes, you too Martha. Hi, Donna!" I yelled smiling. "Hello, Emily!" She yelled back. I smiled wiping my tears away.

"Doctor, we have to hurry." A man said in the background. "I said Shush! I'm talking to my daughter!" He yelled. I laughed smiling. "Sorry about that. You were saying?" He asked smiling. "Dad, you have work to do. We can talk later. I also have a job to do. You can just give me a ring later. Good bye, Dad. I love you and tell Donna to tone down." I said smiling. "Quite, right." He said ending the call. I smiled sniffing.

"Your Dad, huh?" Dean asked smirking. I had wide eyes and quickly wiped my tears away. "Shit! Are you ok?" He asked worried. "I'm fine, Dean. Come on we have to go." I said smiling. Sam hugged me making me cry even more. I hugged him tightly. "Emily, what is it?" Dean asked as we walked towards the Impala. "I-It's nothing." I replied wiping my tears for the last time and letting Sam go. They didn't ask as we drove to their house.

We parked in front of the house. "You gonna be all right, man?" Sam asked. "Let me get back to you on that. " Dean said getting out of the car. We followed after Dean as he knocked on the door. The woman opened and Sam had a shocked face. Must be because it was the same woman we saw. I haven't told anyone about this. "Yes?" She asked. "Sorry to bother you, ma'am, but we're with the Federal-" Sam cut him off. "I'm Sam Winchester, and this is my brother, Dean. This Emily, my brother's girlfriend. We used to live here. You know, we were just drivin' by, and we were wondering if we could come see the old place." Sam continued. "Winchester. Yeah, that's so funny. You know, I think I found some of your photos the other night." Jenny replied smiling.

"You did?" Dean asked putting an arm around me and Jenny nods. "Come on in." She said smiling. We all went in. Wow, this place is pretty good. I suddenly miss Rose Tyler. The woman that made my Dad fall in love again. "Juice! Juice! Juice! Juice!" The boy exclaimed. "That's Ritchie. He's kind of a juice junkie." Jenny introduced handing Ritchie a sippy. "But, hey, at least he won't get scurvy. Sari, this is Sam and Dean. They used to live here." She continued. "May I stay with Ritchie?" I asked smiling at the boy. "Sure." She replied smiling. Carry me! Carry me! Ritchie exclaimed. Yes, timelords can speak baby. I smiled and carried him. "Who is she?" Sari asked pointing towards me. "Oh, that's Emily. Dean's girlfriend." Jenny introduced. "Nice to meet you, Sari." I said smiling. She smiles in return. "So, you just moved in?" Dean asked looking around. I played with Ritchie as they talked. "Yeah, from Wichita." Jenny replied. "You got family here, or....?" Dean trailed off. "No. I just, uh....needed a fresh start, that's all. So, new town, new job - I mean, as soon as I find one. New house." Jenny replied. "So, how you likin' it so far?" Sammy asked.

I'm scared. Ritchie stated laying his head on my shoulder. Why are you scared? I asked worriedly. "Well, it's just getting old. Like the wiring, you know? We've got flickering lights almost hourly." Jenny answered for him. Shit. "Oh, that's too bad. What else?" Dean asked. "Um...sink's backed up, there's rats in the basement." She pauses. "I'm sorry. I don't mean to complain." She apologized. "No. Have you seen the rats or have you just heard scratching?" Dean asked again. "It's just the scratching, actually." Jenny replied. I sometimes hear it too. Ritchie stated sleepyly. "Mom?" Sari called. Jenny kneeled to her level. "Ask them if it was here when they lived here." Sari continued. "What, Sari?" Sam asked. "The thing in my closet." Sari replied. "Oh, no, baby, there was nothing in their closets." Jenny said looking at us. "Right?" She continues. "Right. No, no, of course not." Sam replied. "She had a nightmare the other night." Jenny stated. "I wasn't dreaming. It came into my bedroom and it was on fire." Sari insisted. Sam and Dean choked as I stopped stroking Ritchie's back. Fuck, that was the cause of their mom's death.

"It was nice seeing the old place again. Come on, Ems. We'll be leaving now." Dean said giving my cheek a kiss and walking out with Sam. I kissed Ritchie on the forehead and laid him back on the crib. "You have a bright son right there." I complimented walking after Sam and Dean. She smiles as I walked out the door. "And how you gonna do that, huh? You got a story that she's gonna believe?" Dean asked. I stopped dead in my tracks. "Then what are we supposed to do?" Sammy asked looking up to me. "What are you guys planning to do?" I asked frowning. "Those people are in danger, Emily. We have to get them out of there, but we need a believable story." Sammy relied worriedly. I smiled and hugged him. "Then we better think of something fast." I said letting him go and going to the back. Dean drove us to a gas station and went somewhere over the rainbow.

Emily! help! The plumber is getting hurt! Ritchie's voice yelled from afar. I quickly got out of the car. "Emily! Where are you going?" Sammy asked running after me. "Just go with Dean. I have to go back." I hollered running as fast as I can back to their house. I reached the house panting. I-It's so c-cold! Ritchie yelled. I barged in and ran towards the fridge to see ritchie crying inside. "Oh my god!" Jenny yelled as she got in and saw us. I continued to stroke Ritchie's back. "Shhh... It's alright. I'm here now. Your mom is here now." I whispered giving him to Jenny. "Thank you. Thank you so much." She said smiling. There were loud knocks on the door. I walked towards it to find Sam, Dean and Missouri. "You!" She exclaimed backing away. Sam and Dean gave me a confused look. I saw her once when Dad confronted her. She knows who and what I really am. "Look, lady. I don't care what you're seeing about me, but please. They need you now." I begged. Jenny came with Ritchie who was reaching for me.

"Sam, Dean. What are you doing here?" Jenny asked frowning. "Hey, Jenny. This is our friend, Missouri." Sammy introduced. "If it's not too much trouble, we were hoping to show her the old house. You know, for old time's sake." Dean explained. "You know, this isn't a good time. I'm kind of busy." Jenny said nervously. "Listen, Jenny, it's important." Dean lied. I chuckled. "Give the poor girl a break, can't you see she's upset?" Missouri smacked his head. "Forgive this boy, he means well, he's just not the sharpest tool in the shed, but hear me out." Missouri begged. Dean looked stunned. "About what?" Jenny asks handing Ritchie to me. Do you feel better? I asked getting him. Yes, I suppose so. What does Miss Missouri mean? He asked. "I think you know what I'm talking about. You think there's something in this house, something that wants to hurt your family. Am I mistaken?" Missouri asked. "Who are you?" Jenny asked trying to get Ritchie from me, but he held unto me.

"We're people who can help, who can stop this thing. But you're gonna have to trust us, just a little." Missouri replied. Jenny looked unsure, but let them in. Dean pulled me back as we were walking after them. "What did Missouri mean and why are you here?" Sam asked frowning. "Shh. You're gonna scare Ritchie... Missouri knows something about me that is best you don't know about. I ran here for that same reason you can't know. I'll probably tell you when I'm ready." I replied walking after them. We reached Sari's room. Ritchie fell asleep on my shoulder. My phone rang. I checked who it was to see it was Dad. "I-I have to get this." I said walking out and sitting on a seat beside the door. "Dad?" I answered. "Hi, Emily! How are you?" He asked cheerfully. "Shhhhhhh! A baby is sleeping." I scolded. "Oh. Is it yours?" Dad asked excited. I scoffed. "I wish. Dad, I have to go. I swear I'll call you later so please keep your phone in your pocket." I begged smiling. "Alright. Take care, Emily." He said ending the call. "I love you too, Dad." I mumbled closing my phone. "Emily!" Dean called. I gave Ritchie back to Jenny and jogged towards them. "We need to get them out now. These spirits would do worst." Missouri stated. I smirked. "Then I have just the perfect idea." I replied smiling. I had movie tickets so I gave it to them, It was perfect.

"Look, I'm not sure I'm comfortable leaving you guys here alone." Jenny stated. "Just take your kids to the movies or somethin', and it'll be over by the time you get back." Missouri reassured coming back in. Ritchie gives me a concerned look which I offer a smile. I walked upstairs towards the west part of the house and started to make a hole on the wall. I heard a sound, but to late. A cord caught my leg making me trip and a knife was flying diretly at my head so I moved to the side as the it dug into my shoulder making me scream.

"Sam! Emily!" Dean yelled helping Sam then running towards me. "Stay back!" I yelled shooting the bag of herbs in the hole I made. The cord stopped strangling me. "How the heck did a knife reach here?" Sammy asked getting it out. I gave a sigh of relief. "We better tend to that." Dean said carrying me and gently laying me on the couch as we reached downstairs. I removed my shirt as Sammy treated my wound. He gently patted my shoulder and helped me put my shirt on. "You sure this is over?" Sammy asked walking towards the kitchen. "I'm sure. Why? Why do you ask?" Missori asked.

It's not yet over.

A voice whispered making my spine tingle. I frowned and stood up to have my shoulder hurt making me scream. "Emily! Are you alright?" Sammy asked worriedly. "I'm fine. I'm fine. Don't worry about me." I replied smiling. "Hello? We're home." Jenny said going in and Ritchie starts to cry when he sees me. "Oh my god! Emily, what happened here?" Jenny asked trying to calm Ritchie down. "Hi, sorry. Um, we'll pay for all of this." Sam said, getting Ritchie from Jenny and came closer so I can calm him down. Aw, Sammy looked adorable with a baby. "Don't you worry. Dean's gonna clean up this mess." Missouri stated. Dean just stood there. "Well, what are you waiting for, boy? Get the mop." Missouri instructed. "And don't cuss at me! "She hollered and I chuckled playing with Ritchie.

Are you alright? Ritchie asked. I'm fine. Don't worry about me and stop crying. Your mom doesn't like seeing you cry. I replied ruffling his hair as Sammy gave him back to Jenny. "You have a connection with the kid." Sammy commented. I smiled slapping his back. He helped me up as we walked towards the car and drove off towards the dinner. I frowned as Sam looked uneasy. "What is it?" I asked as the food came. "Are these both mine?" Dean asked hopefully. I slapped his hands away. "Burger and the other pie is mine." I replied looking at Sam. "I don't know. I just...I still have a bad feeling." Sam mumbled while we ate and laughed at Dean. "Dean, can we drive back to the house?" Sammy asked nervously. "Wha-" I cut him off. "Dean, just drive." I instructed. Dean sighed and took our food to go as he drove to the house.

"All right, so, tell me again, what are we still doin' here?" Dean asked. "I don't know. I just...I still have a bad feeling." Sam repeated what he said earlier. "Why? Missouri did her whole Zelda Rubenstein thing, the house should be clean, it should be over." Dean commented. "Yeah, well, probably. But I just wanna make sure, that's all." Sammy replied. "Yeah, well, problem is I could be sleeping in a bed right now." Dean said shuting his eyes.

I was about to close my eyes as well. "Dean. Look, Dean!" Sam yelled rushing out the car. I ran after him. "You and Emily grab the kids, I'll get Jenny." Dean ordered running up. I quickly ran up and found Ritchie crying. "I'm here. I'm here. Shhh." I whispered running after Sammy. Sammy got Sari and we ran, but something got Sam and pushed me out falling over the steps. Emily! Ritchie yelled. I'm fine. I replied giving him to Dean. "Emily, you're bleeding." Dean said helping me up. "Get an ax! We need to get Sammy out!" I yelled, but something swung at me making me dizzy then I got pulled in as well and the door banged after me. I was dragged to where Sam was and pinned to the wall like Sammy. "Emily! Shit, are you alright?" He asked worriedly. "I'm fine." I replied feeling less dizzy and my shoulder was hurting like a bitch as well. A firey figure came walking towards us.

"Sam? Emily? Sam! Emily!" Dean yells then points his gun at the figure. "No, don't! Don't!" Sam yelled. The flames disappeared and showed a woman in a night gown. HOLY SHIT! It's their mom! "What, why?!" Dean asked. "Because I know who it is. I can see her now." Sam replied. "Mom?" Dean asked. "Dean." The lady said looking at Dean then at Sam. "Sam." She says. "I'm sorry." She said looking dirently at me. "For what?" Sam asked. She looks at Sammy sadly and looks up the ceiling. Take care of them for me. She said telepathically. I nodded.

"You get out of my house. And let go of my son and his friend." She ordered getting engulfed by flames and it reached the ceiling and she disappears. The pressure pinning me to the wall disappears making me fall to the floor. Sam catches me. "Now it's over." Sam said carrying me. They all went back in. You're leaving already? Ritchie asked. Goodbye, Ritchie. Take good care of your family. I'll miss you. I said smiling. "Thanks for these." Dean thanked walking out the door with old photos. I just stayed in the car covered in Sam's and Dean's jackets. I could make out what they were saying though. "Don't thank me, they're yours." Jenny replied smiling. "Well, there are no spirits in there anymore, this time for sure." Missouri reassured. "Not even my mom?" Sam asked hopefully. "No." Missouri replied sadly. "What happened?" Sam asked. "Your mom's spirit and the poltergeist's energy, they cancelled each other out. Your mom destroyed herself goin' after the thing." Missouri replied. "Why would she do something like that?" Sam asked. "Well, to protect her boys, of course." Missouri replied. Sam nodded his head in the brink of tears. "Sam, I'm sorry." Missouri apologized. "For what?" Sam asked. "You sensed it was here, didn't you? Even when I couldn't." Missouri replied. "What's happening to me?" Sam asked. " I know I should have all the answers, but I don't know." Missouri lied. "Sam, you ready?" Dean asked. "Don't you boys be strangers." Missouri said smiling at them then at me.. "We won't." Dean replied smiling. "See you around." Missouri said smirking at me and driving away.

"Emily, you alright?" Dean asked worriedly. "I'm fine, Dean. Just drive." I replied smiling and resting my head on the window.

Vision

"That boy...he has such powerful abilities. But why he couldn't sense his own father, I have no idea." Missouri commented. I knew it! She was fucking lying! "Mary's spirit. . . do you really think she saved the boys?" A man asked. "I do." Missouri replied. The man nods. He looks a bit like Sam and Dean. "John Winchester, I could just slap you. Why won't you go talk to your children?" Missouri asked frowning. HOLY SHIT! It's their father! "I want to. You have no idea how much I wanna see 'em. But I can't. Not yet. Not until I know the truth." John replied tearfully. They share a look.

End of Vision

I wake up to see Cas sitting beside me in a house with his arm draped around my shoulder. And now you appear? "Just listen to me." He said looking straight at me. "Why would I do that?" I asked frowning. "Because it's important. You need to let Azel get in John Winchester." Cas said sadly. I frowned trying to get away from him. "Fuck no! I am not going to be the cause of their death." I yelled trying to move away. "Emily, please stop. You do this and you'll be able to see your dad again." Cas begged and bargained. See... My dad... again... I sighed in frustration. I want to see my Dad again, but I am not leading Dean and Sam into a trap. "It's for the future." Cas whispered to my ear. I can feel his hot breathe on my neck sending tingles up and down my spine. I bit my lip as not to moan. Yes, I still like him. "For me." He begged kissing my neck. Shit! No! No! No! "You do this and you'll be able to save thousands of lives." Cas said after torturing me with kisses up and down my neck. I know, he's not that innocent after all. Wait, he said that it would save thousands if lives, but how? I guess the kill one save thousands is applied here. "I'll do it." I replied pulling him in for a kiss, but he smirked and disappeared into thin air. I woke up feeling flustered as Dean drove on and Sammy was asleep.
