(OUaT) Belle's Pov

Belle didn't know why Ariel hadn't recognized her and why she was calling herself Mary all she knew was that she needed to tell Snow. She quickly made her way to Granny's Diner and as she opened the door she saw exactly who she was looking for. Belle makes a beeline for Snow's table and reaching her says, "Snow, you won't believe who I just saw?" 

Snow looks up from her book and says, "Who?" 

Belle looks at Emma, Henry, and Charming as she says, "It's Ariel, and she's here in Storybrooke." 

Snow's eyes widen as she says, "How is that possible?" 

"I don't know, all I know is I just saw her heading toward Granny's B&B." 

"Wait are you guys talking about the little mermaid?" Emma says as she looks back and forth between Snow and Belle.

"Yes, although we thought she was dead." Snow says as he stares at Belle in disbelief. 

"Apparently not, but there is one problem." Belle says as she sits in the booth next to Henry. 

"What?" Snow says edging her on. 

"She doesn't seem to remember who she is, I called out to her but she said her name wasn't Ariel it was Mary." 

Charming narrows his eyes as he says, "Is it possible she came from the other side of the city limits?" 

"Wait," Henry says as he reaches into his backpack and pulls out the book of fairytales. "I think I remember reading something about her." He quickly flips through the pages until he finds her picture and pauses, "Here it is, it says she was sucked down a whirlpool." 

Snow looks back at Belle as she says, "Is it possible she was sucked through a portal?"

Belle shrugs her shoulders as she says, "I'm not quite sure all I know is that is defiantly Ariel."

"Wait are we talking about the same little mermaid?" Emma says as she slides the fairytale book toward herself. 

"If you are referring to the Disney movie then no; Ariel's tale was far worse than that." Snow says peaking Emma's interest. 

"Well what is her story?" Emma says as she looks down at the book to see another familiar face in the picture. "Wait a minute, is that Hook?" They all look down to see the pirate's familiar form standing a few feet away from Ariel's. 

"How's that possible?" Belle says as she looks from the book to Snow's confused face. 

"I don't know but how about we ask him ourselves." Snow says as she stands and heads toward the docks, charming and Belle close behind her. "I'm going to take Henry to Regina's, then meet you there." Emma says before they walk out the door.

It doesn't take them long to make it to the dock's where Hook's ship sat docked. "Permission to come aboard?" Snow calls out as she waits for a reply. 

"By all means, come aboard." Hook calls out from the helm. 

They quickly board and walking over to the pirate Snow says, "Hook, I have a couple of questions to ask you about a mutual friend of ours." 

Hook smiles as he says, "And which mutual friend would you like to discuss." 

Snow stands tall as she says, "Ariel," 

Hook freezes and his smile disappears leaving a dark look of anger on his face. "What about her?" 

Snow squints her eyes her curiosity starting to grow, "We have reason to believe she may be in Storybrooke." 

Hook's expression changes to one of curiosity as he says, "That's not possible I watched her die myself, she died in front of me!" 

"Why do I get the feeling you have more than just a regular history with her?" Charming says his expression mimicking that of Snow's. 

"That's because we did," 

"Care to elaborate?" Emma says as she pops up from behind Snow. 

"Fine, it was like this,"
