Ariel's POV

I sit curled up in a ball in a makeshift jail cell as tears silently fall from my eyes. "Now child, even though I love to see you cry I must know; how were you able to return?" 

I smirk as I look up into her dark eyes and say, "Like I would tell you." Ursula grinds her teeth as she returns to what she was doing. I run a hand through my hair as I say, "After all these years you still didn't move against my father, why?" 

Ursula chuckles as she says, "After I sent you through the portal, I found the only way to get what I wanted from your father was through you." She smiles as she turns back to me and continues, "Imagine my surprise when I found out that Daddy's favorite daughter was the very one I decided to send through the portal. Of course your father was less amused, he sent out search parties all across the sea but never found you. What surprises me is that he didn't once think to come after me?"

I clench my jaw as I say "Well my father isn't the brightest fish in the sea now is he, because if you think about it the first person he should have come after was you." 

Ursula raises and eyebrow as he says, "Oh really and why is that?" 

"Cause every fish in the sea knows you're nothing but an ugly hearted, self-serving, mermaid wannabe that wishes she could rule the seven seas; but you wanna know the truth, you'll never rule not as long as I'm alive. This is my home and my kingdom, get your own!" 

Ursula stares at me wide eyed as she says, "I see that you have learned a lot these past five years too bad you didn't expect one teeny tiny detail," 

I raise an eyebrow as I stand and swim over to the cell bars and say, "What," 

Ursula points to the opening of her cave and says, "Your father coming to your rescue."

I follow her finger and my heart drops as I see my father floating in the opening eyes wide with rage. "Daddy?" I say my body in shock at the sight of him. 

"Ursula, surrender my daughter." 

"I'm sorry Triton but that won't be possible, you see the child signed a contract with me." Ursula says as she holds up the glowing piece of parchment, "Therefore even you cannot break it, she belongs to me." 

"Daddy, I'm sorry I was stupid!" I say as fear flows through my body. 

"But as you know, I always was a girl for a bargain," Ursula says as she swims over to my father. 

"What are you suggesting?" 

Fear fills my body as I yell out, "Don't you dare think about it, I will kill both of you if you do!" 

Ursula smiles devilishly as she says, "Trade places with your daughter, she goes free not to be harmed; but you stay here in her place."

Triton looks over at me and I shake my head praying that he would say no. "Alright, where do I sign?" 

"Daddy no!" I say but it is too late I watch completely helpless as he signs his name on the contract and I am instantly shoved out of the cave by and unseen force and replaced by him. As I breech the exit I see Eric, Sam, Dean, and Killian all frantically swimming toward the surface; I quickly swim over to them and grabbing each one help them all to the surface. I instantly feel arms wrap around me and I smile as I say, "Dean, I'm fine. What the hell were you all doing down there you could have drown?" 

"What happened? One moment we had tails the next we were struggling to reach the surface," Sam asks and I grit my teeth as rage fills my body.

All of the sudden I feel the water start to rage around us sending all of us flying in different directions. After the waves pass I swim back up to the surface and look around only to see a giant version of Ursula carrying my father's trident. Adrenaline spikes through me as I look around until I see all four men upon a sunken ship that had resurfaced from the raging of the waters. 

"Ariel!" I hear Killian yell out to me as I look back and forth between them and Ursula. In that Instant I knew the only way to save them and my father was to sacrifice myself.

I quickly swim over to the ship and reaching into my pocket pull out the enchanted two way mirror and as Dean looks over the side I toss it up to him and say, "Give this to Bobby, tell him I'm sorry and I love him." 

"Don't you even think about it!" Dean says as he notices the look in my eyes. 

My heart clenches as I turn toward Eric and say, "You know what to do." Sadness fills his eyes as he nods and then quickly runs to the wheel. My eyes find Killian's and I fight back the tears that try to fill my eyes as I force a smile and then quickly dive back under the water and swim in front of Ursula.

"Hey, you old sea hag!" I yell out in an attempt to get her attention. It works. 

She turns toward me with eyes wild with rage as she says, "I'll make you pay for the things you said about me!" 

I scoff as I roll my eyes and say, "I'll believe it when I see it!" I glance to the side to see the guys a few hundred feet away from her a sharp broken piece of wood sticking out of the front of the ship. I watch as her anger rises, making the water surge faster around her only adding speed to the ship. With one last look at the ship I close my eyes as a sharp pain fills my body and my world goes dark.

Killian's POV

Killian's body froze as he watched the love of his life give herself up to protect the world from Ursula. He knew their eyes had met and that made his feeling worse. What was he going to do without her? "Get prepared to jump!" Eric called out from the wheel of the ship where he had lined it up to stab Ursula. 

Killian looks down at the ship and taking a deep breath runs over and taking the wheel from Eric says, "Go, I'll take care of this!" 

At first Eric stared at him in confusion then nodding runs over to Dean and Sam. With one last nod from them they all jump overboard. Killian sighs and rage fills his body as he rams the ship into Ursula's heart. Lightning strikes her and lights up her skeleton as it cooks her from the inside out. Killian smiles as he watches her die; but his smile is quick as Ursula's tentacles start to wrap around the ship dragging it back down to the depths of the ocean along with her dead carcass. Killian quickly runs and jumps over the side of the ship where he is met with a massive wave the sends him crashing into a reef of rocks instantly knocking him out.

Dean's POV

Dean watches helplessly as Killian is sent flying into the reef by the massive wave. He quickly swims over to the reef and as he checks for the pirates' pulse he sighs, the pirate is still alive. 

"How is he?" Sammy asks concern filling his voice. 

"Just knocked out, he'll live." 

Sam sighs as he breathes heavily from swimming through the heavy current. Seconds later Eric swims up to the reef and breathing heavily collapses atop the rocks. Dean instantly searches the water for signs of Mary but finds none. Then he sees her red hair resurface from the depths being carried by her father. "Mary..." He whispers causing Sam and Eric to turn and follow his line of sight. Triton carries his daughter bridal style, to the reef were the humans stood staring with sadness filled eyes. Dean's heart drops as Triton gently lies her lifeless body down on the reef tears fill the sea king's eyes.

"No," Dean says as he kneels down and wraps his arms around her lifeless body. "Mary, please come back to me." Dean cries out as he rocks back and forth cradling her head against his chest. 

"Dean, she's gone." Sam says as he gently lies a hand on his brothers shoulder only to have it tossed away as Dean cries out. 

"I shouldn't have let that kook in the pawn shop give her memories back I should have just packed her up and taken her back to Bobby's."

 "Dean, you wouldn't have been able to keep her from going back to storybrooke to find the truth." 

"Yeah, well I could have done something, not just let her die like this." Tears fill Dean's eyes as his grip tightens on Ariel's body. "It's all my fault Sammy, I couldn't protect her."

"It is not your fault, my daughter had a mind of her own, she would have only done what she thought was right; she go that from her mother." 

Sam nods as he says, "If you don't mind me asking your highness, how did you move on from losing Ariel's mother?" 

Triton sighs as he says, "You never really get over the loved ones you lose, and I never have been able to move on. My wife was the only mermaid for me. I think that is why I clung so tightly to Ariel and never let her leave my sight, cause she reminded me so much of Amoura." Dean's grip tightens even more as he buries his head in her hair letting the tears fall feely from his eyes. 

"She's not gone, I'm going to bring her back!" Dean says as he kisses her forehead and then holding her tightly to his body starts to call out for Cas. 

"Cas, please I need you buddy!" Seconds later Cas appears at the sound of fluttering wings. Dean looks up and sees the concern fill Cas's eyes as he assess the situation. "Cas, please bring her back." 

Kneeling down beside her Cas says, "I will try Dean," Cas gently lies his middle and forefinger against her forehead only to look down defeated and lie his hand on her arm. 

"What's wrong?" Dean says anger filling his body. 

"Dean, I can't save her. The magic used in her death was too great my power isn't good enough." 

"But you're a fucking angel, I've seen you bring people back from the dead before, why is Mary any different?" 

"It is because she is from this realm not yours, magic is strongest here and one other place. When people die from magic here they don't come back." Triton says all traces of hope leaving his voice and body.

"No, no, no this isn't happening; Mary wake up please. God dammit Ariel open your eyes!" Dean yells as he uses her real name for the first time in hopes that it would do something. Dean lifts her head and placing her forehead to his gently kisses her lips silently praying that something would happen. When he pulls away he feels her body remain limp in his arms and he clenches his jaw as he cries his heart out into her neck.

"Please, allow me mate." Killian says causing Dean to stare daggers up at the pirate. 

Killian sighs as he kneels down beside them and taking Ariel's body in his arms says, "Please work," As he finishes talking he leans down and gently places his lips to hers. Dean watches in amazement as the color returns to Ariel's face and body. 

All the sudden he sees Ariel's arms reach up and wrap around Killian pulling him in closer to her.

Ariel's POV

'Ariel, my dear sweet daughter it's time to wake up.' I hear my mother's voice say as I start to feel warmth against my lips. My eyes flutter and looking up I realize Killian is kissing me and I smile as I wrap my arms around him and hold him tightly to me. 

"Ariel!" I hear Dean exclaim causing me to release Killian and turn toward him. My heart clenches as I see the tear stains on his face. 

"Dean? Were you crying?" I ask as Killian helps me sit up. 

Wiping his eyes dry Dean smiles as he says, "Me cry, now what on earth gave you that idea?" 

I smile as I lean up and kiss his forehead. "It's okay Dean, you don't have to cry anymore." 

"I do not understand, how are you alive?" Cas asks as he tilts his head in confusion.

"Honestly, I don't know. One minute I was with my mother and the next she told me to wake up." 

"You saw your mother?" Triton asks causing me to turn toward my father with a smile on my face as I say, "Yes daddy, she wanted me to tell you that she loves you and she is happy with how you raised my sisters and I." Triton smiles as he reaches out to me. I smile brightly as I wrap my arms around my father and for the first time in almost five years I feel at home and happy. 

"I suppose the only question now is how do we get you all back to the ship and me to my castle?" Eric says and I smile as I release my father and reaching over take Cas's hand. 

"Cas could you do the honors?" 

The angel smiles as he says, "Gladly." 

Seconds later I am alone with my father and I smile as I say, "Shall we?" He smiles as he takes y hand and helps me into the water where we start swimming toward the Jolly Roger.

When we reach the ship I smile as I wave goodbye to my father and start climbing up the side of the ship the wind quickly drying my tail leaving a pair a beautiful legs. I glance around to see the Dean, Sam, Killian, and Cas all standing facing land as they wave goodbye to Eric. I smile brightly as I sneak up and standing beside Cas join them in waving goodbye. 

"You know he wasn't such a bad guy," Dean says as he folds his arms over his chest. 

"Yeah, even though we shared a face." Sam says mimicking his brother. 

 "You know I think sense a hint of jealousy in your tone," I say causing the men to turn toward me eyes wide as they rush me wrapping their arms around me in a big group hug. 

When they pull apart Dean smiles as he hands me back the enchanted two way mirror and says, "I believe this belongs to you."

I smile as I open the mirror and breaking the hinge hand one mirror to him and keep the other as I say, "Actually, I want you to give that to Bobby for me. I'm not going back with you Dean." 

Dean's smile fades as he says, "What? Why not?" 

I look over at Killian and smile as I say, "This is where I belong, I'm a part of this world as much as it is a part of me. Please understand," Dean opens his mouth to argue but then instantly closes it. 

"Ariel, what do you want us to tell Bobby?" Sam asks as he tries to hide the sadness in his voice. 

"Tell him the truth that I fell in love and got out. He'll be happy that I'm safe and sound. That mirror I gave Dean is enchanted, when he looks through it he'll be able to see and talk to me whenever he wants." 

Dean smiles as he says, "I may just keep it for myself."

I giggle as I turn toward Cas and say, "How much longer until you are able to take them home?" 

"I can now if they like." 

My heart clenches as I turn back to them and say, "I guess this is goodbye then," 

Dean clenches his jaw as he says, "I guess so." I smile as I walk forward and wrap my arms around him as he does the same to me. "Take care Ariel," He says into my hair causing tears to try and form in my eyes. I quickly pull away as I say, "You too, and take care of Sam don't let him do anything stupid." 

"It's a tough job but I can handle it." I smile as I reach up and gently touch his cheek before I step back until I am standing against Killian's front side.

Dean looks past me to Killian as he says, "You better take care of her, or I promise I'll come back and kill you myself." 

I look up to see Killian smile as he says, "Will do mate," Then as I watch them leave I silently send one last prayer to Castiel, 'please take care and watch over my family, you're all they have now.' I watch as they disappear before I turn and looking up into Killian's eyes say, "Captain Jones, I think I made the right choice in loving you." Killian smiles as he leans down and gently presses his lips to mine sending a wave of passion through my body. 

Pulling away he says, "We have quite a lot of time to make up for?" 

"You're point Captain?" He smiles devilishly as he lifts me up into his arms and carries me to the cabins quarters where we make love for the very first time.

A few years later (Enchanted Kingdom time)

I smile as I look out over the ocean as we set sail to another land. Turning I see Killian behind the wheel shouting orders at his new crew as we sail toward Atlantis. I smile as I hear girlish giggling from behind one of the crates. Smiling I raise an eyebrow and stalking over to the box jump to the other side where I surprise a little girl with sea blue eyes and dark hair like her father. "Mommy!" She calls out as she reaches for me. 

"Why Melody, were you trying to scare mommy?" I ask as she smiles at me grinning from ear to ear. 

"I came to get you, it's almost time to see grandpa Bobby." I smile as I set her down at let her lead me to the captains' quarters where she reaches into her secret compartment of her father's desk and pulls out the mirror.

Melody smiles as she grabs my hand and pulls me over to the bed to sit beside her. As I sit down I lift her into my lap and wait patiently for Bobby to show up on the other side of the mirror, but instead of Bobby; Dean shows up a smile covering his face. "Uncle Dean!" Melody cries out as she sees his face. 

"Hey Mel, how are you?"

 "I'm great Daddy's taking me to Atlantis to see grandpa Triton." She replies as she twirls her raven hair in her fingers. 

"Awesome, when you gonna come visit us?" 

Melody smiles as she turns to me and says, "When can I mom?" 

I glance back and forth between Dean and my daughter as I say, "Why don't you two continue talking and I'll go ask dad about making a detour to Storybrooke?"

Melody's eyes widen in excitement as she says, "Really momma you mean it?" 

I smile as I say, "I do, after I speak to your father." I gently kiss her forehead as I stand and walk out of the captain's quarters and up to Killian standing proudly at the wheel. 

"What finish your phone call?" He says as he notices me walking up to him. 

"Actually dear husband your daughter has a request,"

 He raises and eyebrow as he hands the wheel to his first mate and walking over to me says, "And what request does our dear Melody have for us?"

 I smile as I gently place my hands on his chest and say, "She wants to go see uncle Dean." 

Killian smiles as he says, "Of all the places to go, why not just have Cas bring them here again?"

I bite my lip as I say, "Actually not a bad idea, why not come and have a chat with him and surprise your daughter?" 

"Alright Mrs. Jones if you insist." He says as he leans forward and kisses my forehead. I smile as I let him lead me to our quarters where Melody sits smiling at the stories Dean was telling her.

As I watch Killian and her talk to Dean with smiles on their faces I realize how happy I am and smile brightly. I never thought I would end up with the man I love let alone the two of us have a beautiful daughter together, my life could have been a lot different had I stayed with Sam and Dean but given what I know now, I wouldn't change anything in the world.
