Mary (Ariel's) POV

"Mary?" I hear Dean say and turn to see him and Killian walk into the back room. I eyeball the two men before walking over to Dean and hugging him tight. "I know who I am." I say as he wraps his arms tightly around me. 

"It doesn't matter you'll always be Mary to me." He says as his grip tightens on me. 

I smile as I pull away from him and say, "And Mary will always be a part of who I am, but my real name is Ariel." Dean clenches his jaw as he silently nods in agreement. I then turn to Killian and looking up into his eyes punch him in the face earning me looks of fright from Dean and the rest of the people in the shop.

"What did you do? What did you promise him?" I cry out as I stare at Killian's hurt expression. 

"I did what had to be done love." 

I roll my eyes as I say, "That doesn't answer my questions Killian, what did you promise him?"

 Killian clenches his jaw as he says, "I promised that I would leave Storybrooke and stop trying to exact my revenge against him for Milla." 

My heart clenches as I stare deep into the pirates oceanic blue eyes, "Killian,"

 Killian smirks as he rubs his chin, "Gotta say I like this side of you," He turns toward Dean as he finishes his sentence, "I take it she learned that from you." Dean grins proudly as he fights back a laugh.

"Killian, I remember everything." Killian's smile fades as he looks deep into my sea blue eyes. 

"Ariel, I'm sorry." He says his voice filled with sadness. 

"What happened wasn't your fault, it was mine. I shouldn't have made that stupid deal with Ursula in the first place." I reach up and gently touching his cheek continue saying, "There is one thing that I have to do before I can think of being happy I have to go home." 

Killian tilts his head in confusion, "Ariel I killed Ursula, I watched her die." 

I look back at the pirate with a look of sadness filling my eyes, "She's still alive Killian, and if she were dead I would have regained my memories a long time ago." Killian's face filled with anger as he realizes he was tricked. "That is why I have to go back." 

"You mean we have to go back." Sam says causing me to turn toward him a look of confusion on my face, "No Sam you and Dean have done enough, I won't place the two of you in danger, not when we're up against Ursula." 

Sam throws me his famous bitch face as he says, "I'm coming with you Ariel, and it's my fault you're in this mess so I'm going to fix it." 

I sigh as I say, "How many times to I have to tell you, it's not your fault. Just because you're Eric's doppelganger does not make you responsible for his actions." 

Sam sighs as he says, "It doesn't matter, I'm coming with you one way or another; you're still my little sister and I'm going to protect you."

I smirk as I say, "I know that no matter what I say you're gonna do what you wanna do." 

Dean clears his throat as he says, "Wait a minute, does someone wanna clue me in on what you two are talking about?"

 I sigh as I turn back to Dean and say, "Summary, I'm the little mermaid, Sam is Eric's doppelganger, and my family is in danger so we're going back to help them." 

Dean bites his lip as he nods. "Okay, well there's no way you two are going without me so add me to the list." 

I smile as I say, "Thank you Dean," 

"Wait if you're going I want to help in some way," Belle says causing us to turn toward her. 

"Belle?" I hear Rumple say and I mimic his response, "Belle, you have a life here I cannot and will not put your life in danger."

Belle raises and eyebrow and smirks as she says, "After all these years of the two of us being friends you should know that I protect my friends." 

"Belle, please stay here," I say looking to Rumple for help. 

"You don't even have a way of getting back there," Rumple says not taking his eyes off of Belle. 

"Actually we do," I say as I walk over to Rumple and say, "I need you to turn me back into a mermaid." 

"What?!" I hear Killian, Sam, and Dean call out in unison, causing me to roll my eyes. 

"At least a part time mermaid, kind of like the movie Splash; when I am in the water I am a mermaid and when I am out and dry, I am human. Is there any way that can be accomplished?" I ask as hope rises in my heart. 

He looks at Belle then back at me and says, "I'll only do it if Belle stays here."

"Done." I say as I reach my hand out to make our deal complete. He quickly takes my hand before Belle has an opportunity to say anything.

"We'll meet you at the dock." Rumplestiltskin says as Killian, Dean, Sam, and I walk out of the shop and head toward the pier. 

When we make it to the pier I turn toward Dean and say, "Okay call Cas," 

Dean eyes flare as he says, "What do we need him for?" 

I roll my eyes and say, "If you don't I will." Dean rolls his eyes as he walks to the other end of the pier.

 "Who's this Cas person?" Killian asks as he watches Dean walk away followed by Sam.

"Castiel or Cas as we call him is a good friend of ours, although at the moment Dean is a little pissed at him." 

Killian nods as he looks back to me as he says, "And how is this Cas supposed to help us get back to the Enchanted Kingdom love?" 

I smirk as I say, "That is for me to know and you to find out." 

He smiles and a look of longing fills his eyes as he says, "I'm glad to see at least some things haven't changed." 

I feel my cheeks flush as I reach my hand up and gently touch his cheek and say, "Killian, my feelings for you have not changed." He smirks as he reaches up and gently grabs my hand holding it possessively to his cheek. "But, until I save my kingdom there is no way I can even think about a happy ending with you or anyone else." 

Killian's eyes narrow as he pulls my hand away from his cheek and says, "You mean with your boyfriend over there." 

I sigh as I say, "I loved Dean I really did but he's not my boyfriend. He was once but, we decided it would be better for both of us if we just stayed friends." 

Killian nods his head slightly as he says, "Does he know that?" 

I tilt my head in confusion as I say, "What do you mean?" 

Killian chuckles as he says, "Why don't you ask him yourself?" My heart clenches as I look back toward Dean to see him talking with Sam at the end of the pier.

I tighten my grip on Killian's hand as I say, "A lot has happened these past few years, I lost my home my family, my friends, and the one I love. Killian even when I didn't remember you I knew deep down that I was meant to find you. I was destined to come back to you, can't you see that?" 

Killian clenches his jaw as he says, "Ariel I," He is cut off by the sound of fluttering wings. 

"Am I interrupting something?" Cas says causing Killian to jump. 

I sigh as I turn to Cas and say, "Of course not, did Dean tell you what's going on?" 

Cas shakes his head as he says, "I was only informed that you needed my help." 

I smile as I say, "Long story short, I have my memory back, and now I need your help to get this ship back to the Enchanted Kingdom." 

Cas tilts his head as he says, "How do you know of the Enchanted Kingdom? It was decimated almost thirty years ago?" 

My smile brightens as I say, "Cause it's my home Cas, I'm a mermaid or at least I was."

"I don't understand how is that possible?" 

I sigh as I say, "Sometimes Castiel you astonish me at your lack of comprehension." 

Cas tilts his head even more as he says, "I understand I may not comprehend certain things but this I do not understand at all."

 I smile as I say, "Even I do not understand some things about what happened to me but what I do know is that you have the power to create a portal that will lead me home." 

Cas's face turns stern as he says, "I do have the power to send you there but I may not have the power to bring you back." 

I look down at the ground where I glance at my hand still tight in Killian's and say, "Would you be able to return Sam and Dean?" 

I look back up to see Cas's piercing blue eyes searching mine for a trace as he says, "You would want me to return them but not you?" 

I sigh as I straighten my back and say, "Yes, and another thing; don't tell them that I am staying behind until you have them safely back here in Storybrooke."

"Mary, I do not think it is wise to keep this from them." 

I nod as I say, "I will tell them when the time comes, but for now they mustn't know." 

"Wait a minute does someone wanna clue me in as to what the bloody hell is going on?" Killian says as he releases my hand. 

"And you would be?" Cas says as he notices Killian releasing my hand. 

"Castiel this is Killian Jones or you might know him by his more colorful name Captain Hook." 

Castiel tilts his head as he says, "The pirate from the novel?" 

I roll my eyes as I say, "No, well kind of, anyway back to what I was saying, This town Storybrooke is full of people from the Enchanted Kingdom." 

"How is that possible?" 

"It seems an old friend of mine set a curse that sent all of the inhabitants here to Maine." 

"If something of that multitude were to happen the Arch-" Cas stops his thought in mid sentence as he remembers the fact that all the Archangels are gone.

"I'm confused how is this Castiel going to open a portal to the Enchanted Kingdom?" Killian asks obviously annoyed that Cas and I are having a conversation without him. 

"Killian, Castiel is an Angel." 

"I'm sure he is love but that doesn't explain how he's going to attempt the impossible." 

I roll my eyes as I say, "No not metaphorically, he is literally an Angel of the Lord; equipped with wings and all." 

Killian raises an eyebrow as he looks back at Cas and says, "Well now I've seen it all, if you'll excuse me I have a ship to prepare." I open my mouth to say something but am cut off by him turning away from me and heading back to the Jolly Roger.

"You have feelings for this pirate?" Cas says causing me to smirk as I turn back to him and say "Is it that obvious?" 

Cas's expression changes from one of confusion to understanding as he says, "I had always assumed you and Dean were a couple."

 I sigh as I run a hand through my hair and say, "We were, but we're not anymore." 

"May I ask why?" Cas says causing me to become dumbfounded as this was out of the ordinary for the sweet Angel. 

"Dean and I fight more than we get along. I used to love him I really did but now it has just become too much of a chore to love him." 

Cas nods as he says, "I have seen over the years how a man and woman can go from being deeply in love with another to despising the even existence of the person they once loved. I assume it's part of being human."

I smirk as I say, "I don't hate Dean I just don't love him like I used too. I still love him but it's a different kind of love now. I don't love him like I love Killian." 

Cas clenches his jaw as he says, "You love the pirate?" 

I smile as I say, "I have always secretly loved Killian ever since the day he rescued me from the ocean and gave me a home." 

"I do not understand." 

I smile as I reach over and straighten the collar of the angel's trench coat and say, "My real name Castiel, is Ariel. I am the youngest daughter of King Triton and Queen Aurora. I am a mermaid and I am in love with the pirate that saved my life, that pirate is our very own Captain Hook." 

Cas's eyes widen as the sudden realization hits him, "I remember now you were much younger then."

I raise my eyebrow as I say, "Note to yourself Cas, never talk about a woman's age. We don't like that very much." Cas smiles as he senses the joke I intended to make at him. 

"Is Dean still upset with me?" 

my smile fades as I say, "He is, but if you prove to him that you have changed he'll come around. You are after all his best friend whether he will admit it or not." Cas nods and I turn as I hear Dean's footsteps coming over to us. 

"Did you tell him?" Dean asks as he stands beside me followed closely behind Sam. 

"I did, and he's going to help us." I look back at Cas and send him a message in my head, 'Don't tell him about me staying in the Enchanted Kingdom, or that I am in love with Killian.' Cas nods slightly without Dean's notice and I let out a sigh.

"Um Sam why don't we give the two of them a minute, there's something I want to talk to you about." Sam nods as he grabs my hand and leads me away from Dean and Castiel. 

When it is just the two of us I turn to Sam and say, "Sam, I don't want you to tell Dean about Killian and I." 

Sam furrows his brow as he says, "Why don't you want him to know?" 

I narrow my eyes as I say, "He has enough on his plate at the moment, and he would lose it and go on a rampage if he knew the history I have with Killian." 

"Ariel he has a right to know,"

 I tilt my head as I say, "Why does he have the right to know when we are no longer together. We broke up therefore everything I do from this point on is my own business."

Sam sighs as he says, "That's true but I still think you should tell him." I clench my jaw as I look back at Dean and Castiel apparently making a truce between the two of them. I look past them and see Rumplestiltskin and Belle making their way toward us and eager to end mine and Sam's argument start off toward them. 

As I reach them Belle runs over and wrapping her arms around me hugs me tightly. "Ariel, I wish I could go with you but I know once you set your mind to something you follow through."

 I smile as I hug her back and say, "I learned from the best." 

As I release her I turn toward Rumplestiltskin and say, "I appreciate you doing this, no matter the reason behind it." 

Rumplestiltskin smirks as he says, "As long as you get that pirate out of Storybrooke all is paid." 

I sigh as I say, "Will do." 

He hands me a vial of a green glowing liquid and says "Take this once you return to our land, the magic in our home will activate the potion." 

I nod as I hold the vial close to my heart and say, "Thank you Rumplestiltskin."

"Safe journey my friend," Belle says as she hugs me once again. 

"Goodbye, Belle." I say as I quickly hug her back and before I start to cry push away from her and head up the ramp onto the ship where I run into Killian's arms. 

"What's this about love?" He asks as his hand hover above my body not sure what to do. 

"Just don't move okay, I need to pull myself together before I start to cry." I feel his hands gently lie on my shoulders and I grit my teeth to keep the tears at bay. 

"Ahem!" I hear Dean clear his throat and I turn to see team free will standing a few feet away. 

I look up into Killian's eyes as I pull away from him and say, "Thank you." 

I quickly turn toward Cas and say, "Are you ready?" 

He nods as he says, "I'm going to need you all to shield your eyes." 

I nod as I say, "Why don't the four of us just wait in the Captains Quarters?"

I walk toward the cabin when I feel someone's hand gently touch my hair and once I open the door to the Captain's Quarter's I turn and holding the door open see that Killian had been the one touching my hair and my heart starts to race causing my cheeks to flush. I quickly bite my lower lip as I look down at my feet and try to steady my heart. Closing the door I turn to see the three men all looking at each other uncomfortably and sigh. 

"This is going to be a long trip," I say as I walk over and sit on Killian's Desk. Seconds later a bright white light fills the room followed by a sharp jerk causing me to fall back against the desk hitting my head. When the ship settles and I can feel the ocean beneath it I smile as I run out of the cabin's door to see the familiar kingdom that belongs to Prince Eric causing my smile to brighten. "I'm home."
