Sam and Gabriel had been dating for months, much to Dean's annoyance. Which is why, the older hunter had jumped at a chance to hunt alone. Leaving Sam and Gabriel alone for a week.
Sam walked into the bunker, his arms laden with food and sweets. He noticed immediately that Dean was gone and Gabriel was too quiet. It is said, quietness is the hint of trouble, for children, dogs, and Tricksters alike.
"Gabriel?" he called loudly, putting everything in his arms on one of the many tables. He received no answer, which replaced his unease with worry. "Honey?" he called again.
He looked through a few rooms, still finding no sign of his playful boyfriend. He walked past their bedroom, noticing a human sized lamp on the bed.
"Honey?" he asked softly, admittedly relieved, but now more worried since this wasn't a common look for his lover.
Gabriel rolled over, giving Sam a full on sorrowful look.
"I don't feel good at all." he admitted, a soft whimper escaping his lips unbidden.
"Oh no, what's not feeling good?" Sam asked, trying not to smile when Gabriel made a cute whimper sound.
"My stomach hates me, it's not a diarrhea kind of stomach ache. It's a I'm going to throw up type of stomach ache." Gabriel explained, flinching as his stomach churned angrily just at the mention of throwing up.
Sam nodded in understanding, before walking over and grabbing a trash can, which he brought back to his boyfriend.
"If you're going to puke." he said calmly. He climbed into bed beside Gabriel. rubbing his back lightly.
Gabriel swallowed hard, wishing he had some way he could get rid of this bug quicker and not have to suffer through it. He shivered, leaning back into Sam, as soft hiccups set in, shaking the trickster to his core.
"Breathe, honey, just breathe through them." Sam instructed, feeling each hiccup as they happened. He could tell they were getting more aggressive.
Gabriel gasped softly, panting between hiccups. With each hiccup, more saliva pooled in his mouth. He grabbed for the trashcan frantically, put it in between his legs, and hang his head over it. He spit the extra Saliva into the can, whimpering softly as his stomach flipped over and over.
"Just let it happen, you'll feel better." Sam said calmly. He moved closer to Gabriel, causing the trickster to whimper loudly as the bed shifted under them. "What's wrong?" he asked in concern.
"Stop moving the bed." Gabriel ground out weakly. He wrapped his left arm around his stomach tightly, gagging hard at the sudden pressure. He kept his arm tight, not realizing he was going to make himself sick.
Sam jumped at the sudden gag that emanated from his very sick and cute boyfriend.
Gabriel whined softly, as another gag escaped his lips. He leaned forward over the trash can, as watered down food shot from his lips, causing him to cough at the bitter taste that hit his tastebuds. He spit quickly, desperately trying to prevent the inevitable, as he was hit by an intense wave of nausea. He gagged hard and more watered down food joined the first batch.
This continued until Sam was sure there couldn't possibly be anything left, but Gabriel still tried to throw up again and again.
"Easy," he said gently, worried by how sick Gabriel was and seemed to still feel.
Gabriel's stomach finally stopped heaving, as he leaned back to catch his breathe. "That was awful," he whimpered, before bursting into tears, bawling his eyes out.
Sam moved the bin to the floor, making a mental note to clean it out in a minute or two, the smell from it was horrible, but his sobbing other half was more important.
"Honey, it's okay, I promise. It's supposed to be gross and make you miserable, otherwise everyone would love being sick." He explained, more rambling cuz he didn't know what to say to comfort the man in front of him. He pulled his other half into his arms, gently but tightly holding him close as he cried.
Gabriel sniffled sadly, gasping as he tried to calm down, just as the hiccups set in again.
Sam jumped up, grappled the bin, ran to the bathroom, and rinsed it out before returning with it in tow. As he walked into the room, Gabriel lurched forward, bile coming up and spilling onto the bed from the poor man's chapped lips.
"I'm so sorry," Gabriel cried out, as he stared at the mess in his lap and all over the comforter.
Sam chuckled softly, shaking his head quickly. "It's totally fine, I'll clean it up. Let's get you to the bathroom." He suggested, as Gabriel watered down food came up into trickster's lap and coated the his legs. "Looks like a bath is in order." He added calmly.
He handed the bin to Gabriel, before scooping the man up, as if he weighed nothing, and carried him to the bathroom, ignoring the dripping vomit from his lover's legs.
Gabriel whimpered sadly, shoving his head in the can, the movement of Sam carrying him agitating his already upset stomach and made him vomit up more bile and food into the can.
Sam tightened his grip as his poor boyfriend vomited a second type, before gingerly putting him down in the tub. He carefully helped the man strip, between vomit or dry heave sessions, as if the man's stomach couldn't empty enough.
He turned on lukewarm water, rinsing Gabriel off as the man burst into tears again, threatening to break Sam's heart too. "What's wrong, my love?" He asked gently, grabbing the shampoo to wash the man's hair gently.
"You think I'm a wimp, don't you?" Gabriel asked in a broken and hoarse voice.
"Why would I think that?" Sam asked curiously, helping tilt the man's head back to rinse the soap he'd lathered into his hair.
"Cuz I cant handle being sick," Gabriel said with a hiccup.
Sam stopped what he was doing, one cuz it was done and two to look at Gabriel. "You gonna puke?" He asked gently, flinching as Gabriel nodded and vomited in his lap. He rinsed it away, noticing that his hiccups weren't aggressive and neither was the vomiting.
Gabriel nodded gratefully to Sam, leaning his head against the wall in exhaustion.
"I don't think you're a wimp or anything, I think you're adorable." Sam said honestly, earning a side glance from the man in question.
"I'm not a wuss?" Gabriel asked with a yawn, followed by an unproductive gag. "Not gonna puke, yawned too big," he said tiredly, seeing Sam move to help wash away the evidence if Gabriel vomited again.
Sam relaxed visibly, and shook his head. "Not in the lease." He said with a big grin. He grabbed a big fluffy towel, and helped the trickster up and to dry off. He left quickly and returned with clothes, and stayed nearby should Gabriel need help, which he didn't. He led Gabriel to the bedroom, had him sit in a chair while he stripped and remade the bed.
"Come to bed, my love, you look exhausted," he said, helping Gabriel get comfortable before climbing into bed too. "Get some sleep, my adorable angel." He said with a yawn.

Gabriel was up multiple times to throw up, but Sam made sure he was never alone. And Gabriel was better by the time Dean got home, only to have Sam catch it next, followed by Dean.
